AU Stuff - Tumblr Posts
Trying to write about Skulduggery and Valkyrie in an AU. It is turning out very long, so in the meantime I’m gonna talk about what the Sanctuary is up to.
This au pulls the very stereotypical “most of civilization has collapsed”, so Roarhaven is incredibly crowded full of people mortal and sorcerer alike, and the city is shielded at certain times of the day to protect from threats (most notably Mevolent/Serafina or the Faceless Ones).
Like, when I say packed, I mean packed. Pretty much the whole city is stacked on top of each other and some people are seeing if they can connect the buildings together to form one massive structure, and even that isn’t enough to hold all the people now penned up in this city. Splashes of magic are becoming even more widespread, especially among mortals, to the point that some of the police have started to crack down on it. There are also people who can’t afford places to stay who all sleep together under one big tarp to conserve body heat, it is a mess.
China got aged down to about her forties in this au because of the magic blast, which really led to her being annoyed that magical explosions kept tampering with her age. She’s no longer the principal of Corrival and now she lives on the edge of town running a business as a Signum Linguist (since Signum Linguists are in very high demand in Roarhaven). She doesn’t create Splashes, but she does make weapons and/or enhancements for soldiers, particularly mortal ones (which I will get into later).
Corrival Academy is technically no longer functional but many of the teachers do still teach, and they find places and times to do it so that students can show up in groups and learn. Teachers like Fletcher and Militsa are partially helping the Sanctuary keep organized and on-task and partially trying to organize and actual school for kids since the last one fell apart. Also Militsa broke up with Valkyrie again on account of Val being an evil god (AGAIN), and now she and Fletcher are disaster besties who’re trying to keep it together. The two of them somehow managed to keep Xena alive until her death at an old doggy age.
Ghastly is still running things over at the Sanctuary, and he is having a VERY rough go of it. On top of mortals finding out about magic and chaos ensuing, he also has to deal with the fact that he now knows that Skulduggery is Lord Vile (because of what Cadaver told him) and that Valkyrie defended him for years (and has now turned into a slightly deranged god). He, Tanith, and Temper have been working together to create different military units with different purposes now that they have more demographics of people to keep track of, protect, and make use of. In short, Ghastly is even more burnt out than he was before the apocalypse.
The mortals have also been making themselves useful, usually working as soldiers for the Sanctuary. I talked about technomages a bit earlier, and I am talking about them now. Lots of the mortals now living in Roarhaven have been going out of their way to equip magical tools (usually weapons) to help them keep up with the sorcerers. This has led to them basically forming into military units working for the Sanctuary and has greatly increased their firepower, making them slightly less appealing to attack.
On top of Temper, Tanith, and Ghastly at the top of the Sanctuary, Dexter Vex also has a little group of his own who technically don’t work for the Sanctuary, but stay in Roarhaven and are more than willing to do tasks alongside them. Aside from Dexter, this team consists of Saracen (who was revived in the same way as Anton), Kierre, Aurora, Frightening, Donegan, and Gracious. Kierre showed back up when the Sanctuary (aided by China’s sigils) figured out a way to fix her boyfriend, and Aurora and Frightening found each other in America shortly after the general apocalypse (North America did not take it well) and then hopped over to Ireland to find Dexter. The Monsters Hunters did something similar to this except that they were in England at the time, and Saracen basically respawned in Ireland.
One of the people who is not present at the Sanctuary (or in Roarhaven at all) is Anton Shudder. He’s off working for Valkyrie for reasons that I plan on explaining in a later post, but he (and Valkyrie) are missed dearly by their friends.
Unlike most of the other groups in this au, Roarhaven isn’t actually aggressive and doesn’t go out of their way to pick fights with other gangs, instead working to act as a safe space for refugees from the war. They’re also completely stationary, which is why they have the part-time shield to protect them from attacks. Valkyrie is willing to spend resources to protect them, but they don’t entirely trust her and so she tends to give them space. They do get visits from her occasionally though, and she’s described as feeling like a harbinger of doom.

Hiiii I'm the one who sent this ask and by god did u respond quickly :D I'm gonna elaborate on the options of What The Hell Is The Van Groups Deal? since u asked about it :) Is Franklin the only faerie in the group? it depends on what Kind of faerie he is cus if he's like, an adult changeling then yea But if he's just a generic undefined faerie then so is everyone else, which I'm gonna elaborate on now! Franklin and Sally would be vaguely bug-ish looking, Franklin specifically would have the features of a Death Head Moth while Sally is some kind of generic butterfly thing. Jerry isn't even a faerie he's just Sally's boyfriend of the week, he is none the wiser to all the fae stuff and is just vibing. Kirk and Pam are a matching set, while I think making kirk a tinkerbell-ish faerie would be funny it wouldn't make Any Sense so he and Pam are just superhumanly pretty and snobbish. good morning/night, I've had this thought regarding tcm that Will Not leave my brain so I simply have to share it with The #1 Franknub scholar. it's essentially just "Nubbins is some kind of faerie and Franklin is either a completely different kind of faerie or like, a regular human with the worst luck imaginable" There is zero plot, there is just Nubbins and Franklin existing in eachother's vicinity. anyway I hope this is even slightly cohearent since the idea mainly happened cus I wanted to put Franklin in pretty fantasy clothes and it just sorta spiralled into this. thank u for reading my ramblings :)
LOVE IT…an AU about the Sawyers being fae is really appealing because of their capriciousness and weird rules and games and leading travelers astray. Along with the knowledge that the movie was an adult Hansel and Gretel with the family as trolls very very early in planning (and some other supernatural ideas…I guess by necessity/budget they had to make a much more “grounded” movie) like all that makes me see the final product as an infusion of so many ideas and not just the Slasher it is known to be…a template which limits my imagination…
ANYWAY.,.
I also want to see Franklin in pretty fantasy clothes…is he the only faerie in his group or are they all faeries who meet scarier faeries…or is Franklin a guy who got horribly lost and is now being taunted by some whimsical forest creature…many options

Concept plot:
Some of the Danganronpa characters have become Akumatized and it’s up to Cat Noir and Ladybug to stop them!
((This AU is an original story set in the Miraculous Universe while still being a Crossover of sorts))

1 - Gonta becomes a Giant Bug like Creature

Danganronpa X Total drama AU
This AU takes place in a Non-despair AU but the characters dynamics or Backstories stay Somewhat the same.

Disventure camp All-stars rewritten AU
This isn’t a Full rewrite just some stuff I would change/Improve on in All-stars.
1 - FIXING THE AIDEN/TOM AND JAKE SUBPLOT:
I would have Mariam lose earlier then James so the Subplot makes somewhat more sense. Otherwise I would have Jake mad at Tom because of Mariam’s Health issues and how it was mentioned in the beginning of All-stars. (Jake would want Tom to care about her more)
2 - MAKING EMILYS CHARACTER BEEF WITH KRYSTAL MAKE MORE SENSE!!!
If I rewrote All-stars I would have Emily have Beef with Krystal because of Riya being on All-stars and how in S2 she Nearly killed Aiden. (HAVING A KILLER ON A REALITY TV SHOW IS VERY BAD!!!) Emily’s plan would be to get Krystal kicked off the show as Host and not do anything Very bad or anything Illegal like in Canon.
Emily would also stay friends with Trever in my Rewrite cause I like their Dynamic early on.
Krystal and Derek’s Romance would be Leaked to the public by Emily in the rewrite which is one part of her plan to get revenge on Krystal.
3 - Ally’s character development.
I would have her try to focus on ignoring the public’s view on her and try to be her own person instead of being Riyas puppet for some reason?!
4 - Fiore Redemption!
I would want her to get some sort of redemption Arc in my rewrite as I like her character and it would be interesting to see her as a better person.
(Plus Alec and Fiore are best Duo!)
5 - The ending:
The ending can stay somewhat the same with Riya losing and her not having any connections like in Canon. (She doesn’t have to win though just saying.)
6 - THE VERY STUPID CONNER X RIYA CRAP!!!
Can we just Not have them be a couple? EVER?! (They won’t be a couple in my rewrite.)
Total drama: Mega All-Stars - concept.
(This is a Total drama custom Season set in my Total drama Next Gen AU)
The plot:
Chris finds out that the reboot of Total drama is gonna get Axed by the producers/Higher ups and he decides to get (Almost) Everyone from the previous generation casts for one final season in order to give nearly everyone one last chance to win the Cash prize.

She is also known for Mentoring/Talking too other TV talk show hosts, Like Emily who is known for her interviews with the Disventure camp All-stars Cast.
What else is she gonna do? Time will tell and we shall see…

Name: Porphyra ‘Emery’ De’b la Rosa God of the Moon and Night Caretaker: Father Moon Gender: Gender Apathetic Nicknames: Lil Rose, Mery, Phyra, Fae Boy, Night owl, Stone Face. Age: 15 Status: Safe
Personality: Emery is a quiet individual, pretty eerie and often sneaks up on people by accident. They stay up at night since it’s the most calm for them. Spends their time learning magic and of the past incarnations of them and their brethren. They are the youngest of the three Princely Gods but have the biggest horns out of the three. (They are supposed to be more purple but the Picrew barely had purple :,)) As you can see, they are more fae like looking out of the others. They have very good sense of hearing and can hear things that are pretty far away. They sometimes use an intangibility spell as to walk past people who take too damn long. Will snap at someone if they dare joke about their missing brother. Very close with Father Moon.
Current worries: Fears for their older brother’s safety after he went missing.
Name: Josiah of the Riverside God of the Sun and Day Caretaker: Father Sun Gender: Male Nicknames: Snowball, softie, simp, angel. Age: 16 Status: Safe Personality: Josiah is the middle child of the Princely Gods, more extroverted than his two siblings but is still quite the shy one. Loves looking his best and making sure his siblings look good as well. Loves jewelry and wears a ton of it, got his siblings into as well. Has a bit of a friendly rivalry with Emery (cause sun and moon, day and night and all-). Is seen mostly during the day helping out around the kingdom, playing with the kids, talking to those who are lonely, basically being the kingdom’s resident bestie. He became closed off when his older sibling disappeared without a trace. Is a hopeless romantic and is always eager to hear the love stories of the elderly of the kingdom. A bit jealous of how his elder sibling often gets letters from potential suitors and admirers. Loves anything that is lemon related. Can someone balls of light and manipulate fire, plus is fire resistant. Will deflate when his older brother’s good name is being tarnished before getting enraged at the person. Very close with Father Sun. Current worries: Fears for his older sibling’s safety after he went missing.
Name: Daniel or Daisy Liu Pereira God of the Cosmos and the Unknown Caretaker: Father Eclipse Gender: Gender-fluid Nicknames: Golden child, Pretty boy, The elder one, the Sage. Age: 18 Status: Missing Personality: Sweet and shy, Daniel is the eldest of the Princely Gods. Is the most calm of the bunch and keeps his siblings in check whenever they go overboard with stuff. Smart, agile and gifted, he learned to use his abilities rather quickly. Loves mango flavored anything. Is almost as fashionable as Josiah and is also a hopeless romantic. Doesn’t really like being bombarded with love letters though. His third eye is able to see into different places of the Earth if he concentrates hard enough. A bit too trusting for his own good. Adores his younger siblings. Loves going out into the forest to find trinkets, cool rocks and flowers, usually keeps them in a magic vase so the flowers don’t wilt. He likes to sew and has made a few outfits for himself and his siblings. Finds mythical animals amazing, even those who don’t seem that interesting. Sometimes falls asleep when doing his studies and has to be brought back to his room as to have a good night’s rest, mostly getting there by Emery. Is close to Father Eclipse. Current worries: ???

They all have very enchanting voices that can LITERALLY enchant people if the three all sing together.
Their blood is gold.
Even though they are gods, they can still die, they will just be reincarnated. They have to be close to each other when they die though.
Almost all incarnations look similar: Sun incarnations light hair and eyes, Moon incarnations have dark hair and eyes and Cosmo incarnations are the exception, they can look like anything lol.
They do not have memories of their past incarnations so Sun, Moon and Eclipse are to teach them about so.

I created a new DCA AU!
It’s basically an AU where Sun and Moon be part of the mafia and they are, like, in their 40s and kind of old school meaning they aren’t fond of the newest generation of animatronics.
(Excuse the clothes, I suck at them)
Sun is the big boss, acting cold, strict and a bit cruel to those who don’t follow the rules and only being mildly caring to currently one person, who is Moon who is his right hand man, he is silent, unpredictable and loyal to his brother but also has a soft, gentle and caring side.
And here we have the lil complications Sun and Moon have recently acquired. These are Dusk and Dawn, some new generation animatronic twins who ended up in the Celestial Brothers’ possession. Not sure how they would have gotten them, still working out stuff cause I literally JUST made this AU. I am not sure which one I should call Dusk and who to call Dawn so rn Imma call them Boy and Girl. Boy is the one with the lower ponytail, a bit of a crybaby, clingy and hates loud noises while his sister, Girl, is the one with the high ponytail and the complete opposite of her twin, she is bold, chaotic and is the loudest lil thing she is.
Moon was assigned to keep an eye on them so the twins warm up to him sooner and he warms up to them as well while Sun doesn’t really like them at first.
This AU is a WIP but I wanted to share the concepts cause why the hell not? I find it fun. Don’t know what to call it just yet so it’ll be referred to as Mafia Children AU for the time being.
The Häxa Hat
I have been thinking, there is no way anyone could hide the big ass Häxa hat unless magic be used so I came up with an explanation for it: when in disguise, the hat itself is a sort of pin that you can put on your jacket, purse or just anything you want. Depending on the person with it, it would change how it looks, kind of like the miraculous from Miraculous Ladybug. For it to activate and have the person go Häxa form, they would have to put the pin on their headwear. The bi pin on Gin’s purse strap with the star? It would be the hat pin and when wanting to go Häxa, she takes it off the strap and putting it on her headband. The one thing that stays the same in each pin is that there should be a resemblance of a four tipped star. This how it actually looks:
I am thinking of making more pin designs for past Häxas, idk, but it would be fun!
Meet Alma and Lily!
Before their unfortunate deaths, they were Joan’s most important people ever, her best friends.
Quick lil explanation for da sisters!
Alma was the oldest, standing at 5’2 feet tall, I would say 32-34 years old and usually tired due to endless studying. She was the most spiritually connected of her sisterhood, being able to see ghosts and exorcise them and be able to see the future, though sometimes being misleading until the event happens. She could speak many languages, one of them being Japanese. She had that resting chill face and always seemed calm and collected by the public but her sisters knew she was a chaotic and eccentric woman, often getting messy when doing experiments with Lily. She was a lesbian, loved women that could kick her ass, lol. She was the one who wrote most of the spells on the Häxa codex with the help of Lily. Indigo was more her color scheme.
Joan was the middle sister, standing at 6’2 feet tall, I would say 30-32 years old, she was (before the Bishops) a very loud and proud woman. Imagine Bakugo but less of a prick. Anyway, she wasn’t as magically inclined as her sisters were before the Häxa hat but she was the physically strongest so she acted as a protector to them and the village they lived in. She was smart but had difficulty learning new languages so she often looks confused when someone speaks in a language other than Swedish. She is demiromantic and demisexual, most likely never having a relationship until after her sisters’ passing. She was the one who found all the weapons that were included in the Häxa hat. Lavender was more her color scheme (obviously).
Lily was the youngest, standing at 5’6 feet tall, I would say 28-30 years old, being the more charismatic of the sisters. Always loving and caring, she did have her feisty side, especially when it involved her sisters. Not as spiritually inclined as Alma but not as lacking as Joan, Lily fell more in the middle, turning to mostly potions to help out around the village and became the alchemist, often harvesting materials for said potions. She was bisexual and would have had a husband and kids if she hadn’t been killed. Helped document the beasts they faced in the Häxa codex. Pink was more her color scheme.
Bonus facts:
Alma faced a horrifying beast while half asleep and just pet it before leaving
Lily can handle spice pretty well
Joan is a lightweight
When I close my eyes, I can’t see’ kinda thing
Alma would have had a lot of adopted kids if she had the chance

People often think Alma be the youngest sister and Joan be the oldest
