hey my fellow aromantic asexuals (or either-or my identities feel so intertwined i can't tell the difference) do you ever just recoil because someone made a comment about you in a romantic or sexual way that maybe wasn't necessarily inappropriate but was very unwelcome and now your day is off because it would be nice to know im not alone in that haha

Sex repulsed aces and romance repulsed aros are valid, and it’s valid for them to be mad about it.

It’s valid to be angry. To be upset. To be unhappy that you have to live in a society that constantly says you’re not worthy, you’re not enough, you’re not valid because sex and romance make you uncomfortable (which is also something you can’t really control).

May you forever be welcomed and accepted in all a-spec safe spaces. And if they won’t have you, I will. You can crash at my place and we can have chips as we play mariokart 8 deluxe. And I WON’T talk about my ships
