Favid Diloni himself said her arc was never about romance. Lex was sooooo comphet for her it's not even funny. Thankfully, she talked about it next time she was around Wolffe and he helped her out a lot more than Anakin did. Added bonus of Wolffe knowing exactly what she's going through and relating, not just understanding.

Anakin trying to relate to her on this would be an absolute trainwreck. He just would, even if he tried really hard not to. Secretly married vs. aroace. What a dynamic. A real allo-aroace sibling dynamic.

Also, if anyone is a walking pride flag, it's Ahsoka. Like. C'mon.

Captain Rex - The Clone Wars (2008) - Aroace

Okay so actually it's more like Rex 🤝Ahsoka 🤝 Wolffe sibling bonding over being aroace but I couldn't reveal that before I got to Rex's day. So Rex is there to help her during the comphet, Wolffe is just the one to doubly reassure her that she's not going crazy

You know this man is fed up with dealing with Anakin and Padme all the time. We already know he's terrible at covering for them. Add in not wanting to acknoweldge what he's actually covering for could distract him enough to make his bad lying skills worse.

Somehow Rex gives off The Most Aroace Dad energy. Not quite sure how, but he manages it. Gotta love him for it.

Also a semi-walking aroace flag, but only when his hair is shaded enough to seem more orange?? lol

Stereotypical Barbie - Barbie (2023) - Aroace

Firstly, Barbie is canonically ace, so jot that down. (Thank you, Margot Robbie!) And I know lots of people saw her as a lesbian. I respect a good lesbian ace Barbie hc

Personally, I like to see her as aroace. That end conversation with Ken just screamed it to me. I knew going in that some people saw aroace Barbie and throughout the entire movie, I was looking for it. Lo and behold, that scene delivered and gave me exactly what I was looking for. It made me very happy to watch

Her arc as a whole was very aroace to me. Being in society and knowing you're different than you expect yourself to be (aka comphet and internalized amatonormativity etc etc) and trying to figure yourself out. And in the end, accepting those difference and moving forward and being stronger and all the better for it.

Added bonus of the yellow dress she wears in the scene with Ken fitting in with the flag color scheme <3

Gwenpool - Marvel Comics - Aroace

Okay this one isn't a headcanon but that's because Gwenpool is canoncially aroace!! Whatta queen.

Tbh I'm not completely up to date on this. I do remember a few posts about how even though the comic said aroace, there was more emphasis on the ace part than the aro part. So here's some lovely aroace flags with her to hopefully help bridge any gaps there are existing between those.

I remember reading a Young Avengers comic a bit ago that had her in a relationship. I also remember just being like "what" the entire time because it did Not seem like it was supposed to be happening. I guess even then, without knowing much about her, I had picked up on the aroace vibes before they made it canon. Interesting how that worked out.

Anyway, gotta love a canon aroace character. Especially one as cool as her!

Don't you just love Matthew? He's the best. There was never an explanation given for him never getting married other than "he's shy." Actually, iirc, there's a line in AOGG where the narration straight up says he never even thought about it. So I claim him for the aroaces.

Does his shyness play a role in it? Maybe. But is it more likely that's just the excuse he gives for not wanting to since he's aroace? Yeah

Also, since I hc Anne as demiromantic, it just makes sense for her father figure to also be aspec, right? It works out perfectly that way.

I love Matthew. I'd want him to be my aroace father figure if I lived in Avonlea.

Jonathan Crane - DC - Aroace

Aroace Jonathan just makes sense to me. It just does.

Depending on the version of Jonathan would depend on how interesting he find the relationship between fear and attraction are. Sometimes he doesn't care at all and just wants to keep working on his initial work. Other times, he finds it intriguing since he doesn't feel it himself and takes note of it to see how it can influence his fear gas, etc etc.

Mainly, he's just vibin', doing his own thing and probably makes fun of the other rogues' terrible love lives when they complain too much around him.

Bilbo Baggins - The Hobbit / LOTR - Aroace

Canonically never gets married, I love that for him. It might be because I read the Hobbit for the first time in 5th grade, but also probably just because it just fits him. He's always been an aroace icon to me.

Tbh, I don't have many notes for Bilbo either. He's an icon, that's for sure. And Middle Earth could always do with some aroace icons there, too.
