These are absolutely horrible captures of it that mess up the color and lighting a ton, BUT, the little sprite of Miran is working!!!! He walk!!!!!!!! Yippie!!!!!! Now I have to do all the tile sets and stuff then I can start building the actual gameplay part of it d(^^ ). But yippie! One project I’m working on is going decently!!!
Eyestrain cw tho, my camera really messed up the colors and brightened them all (;w; ). I’ll have to figure out how to properly screenshot things next time I post about it.
And yeah that is a song playing in the background, I had a Castlevania soundtrack playing while I worked. I’m gonna have to figure out music and stuff too I guess, right now I have all the preset music turned off.
Yay rpg maker stuff :3. I should make more updates that aren’t just little concept doodles cause I have gotten a couple rooms to work, but eh. The game itself is still in like the getting the whole map figured out stage, then I’ll have to go through and plan where story specific events will happen, what characters appear where, major puzzles, whether or not there will be a battle system, etc etc. but I do have a lot of things down and have figured out how the program works for the most part! You guys get to see the map planning page early hehe, also the little girl character (who I still need to figure out the name of whoops—)
Anyway, these two are some main characters, Layne and Reid. I don’t wanna spoil too much about them, but they are also med school students and test subjects like Miran. Layne is the one with their hair to their right and spiky ends, Reid is the one with their hair over their left eye and a rounder style.

Some OC concept doodles, idk if I’ve posted any of these before or not whoops. I feel like I have posted the one with all 4 main characters, but eh whatever. The little girl has a name now, her name is Zarie :3. But yeah some doodles and a nice color reference of Miran :)!
I also think I should uh label this mature for the second to last image, I almost completely forgot about that part. The person in said image is currently an event in the first room, I have a sprite of her and everything… I’ll have to take some screenshots to show progress I’ve made on the game so far (>_< ;). It’s not very finished, but I almost have one whole floor mapped out :D!!!!!!!! Slowly but surely I guess. Augh anyway that’s it.
So uh... test post I guess? Never used Tumblr before but here I am! I decided to come over here to see if anyone was interested in Sabre as well so... here are some screenshots from what I have done on the game so far.
Zone 0 is already done, but it’s going to take me a bit to finish zone 1 which will hopefully be done by the end of this year or before that.
For some info on the game, you basically come back after the previous world was destroyed (as you do) and are in control of Mawren, who also goes by the title of the Chimaera. Your task is to go through each of the zones to eventually confront the Father, a mysterious beast that has taken over the zones in your absence. I won’t say much else since I’d like all the other information to be given in-game but that’s the basic premise.

Development has been going pretty well on the new version, so here are some screenshots. I think I’ll leave things sort of vague until the demo (when I finish this first area), but I’m planning to expand this forest-y place by quite a bit, so I’ll update again when I have some more tilesets and areas made.
