Sweet sadness filled the room as man and wife and babe faded like the morning mist, only the music lingering behind to speed her on her way.

Seventeen and new to knighthood, Rhaegar Targaryen had worn black plate over golden ringmail when he cantered onto the lists…

Drawing Rhaegar in armour was long overdue. I initially went with a full suit of armour but got overwhelmed every single time, so I cut back and decided to draw something more manageable😊

“Your father’s lands are beautiful,” he said. His silvery hair was blowing in the wind, and his eyes were a deep purple, darker than this boy’s.
