My boy Sakura!!! (And girl Sai<3)
Part of me wanted to keep the design as close to the girl version, like I did with Naruto - only giving her shorts. But the rest of me decided to play doll and dress him up in lots of possibilities~
Details -> on the first pic, I thought if genin Sakura was a boy he'd be allowed to think for himself and would realize taking the chunin exams so soon was a scam and his teacher had no consideration for him. Let genin Sakura rebel before Sasuke!
On the fourth, I gave Naruto a hairstyle similar to Kushina's for obvious reasons~ I also think I accidentally made Sasuke so hot and luckily she's tiny in the back and probably only I can see it. And of course, Sakura can hate their genin years all he wants, but he's self aware enough to admit he was part of the disaster too. Finally, please look at Sai <3

Haven’t drawn her in a whileee
As much as I love Sakura, I actually think her dying would’ve been an interesting choice. Kishimoto talks a lot about flowers and floriography in Naruto, so I’m a little surprised he didn’t decide to incorporate the meaning of Sakura’s name. Cherry blossoms have a short lifespan, they die soon after reaching their full bloom. They fall at the moment of their greatest beauty. To some, it’s a representation of life and death and a reminder of how transient cherished moments can be. Sakura blossomed in the war and when everyone was stuck in the infinite tsukuyomi I feel they could’ve killed her off if wanted. Perhaps in a bastardized attempt of Chiyo’s jutsu to bring back Sasuke and Naruto. Maybe in an act to save her teammates similar to what Obito did. Or possibly after an epic battle. I suppose if Kishimoto didn’t want to go that route I think it would also be interesting to see if Sakura had taken more lives. A healer with the bloodlust of an assassin. It would be the true embodiment of her name, a paradox if you will. Although, it’s hard to see Sakura, a girl with a bleeding heart, in that light. Anyway, I truly think Kishimoto just gave her the name because of her hair and didn’t think much else of it, but I find this to be an interesting thought of how it could’ve played out.
To make it clear, I’m happy she didn’t die since Sakura is my favourite

Hc that Ino is actually AWFUL at cutting hair
Ino's actually oblivious to how awful her skills at haircutting are, but she likes to help her friends in any way she can. Sakura, to help curb Ino's need to help, offers her own hair. Sakura doesn't mind whatever haircuts Ino leaves her with, although she does neaten them a little for when she's at work. This continues when they're adults too
