San Francisco Shock - Tumblr Posts
I just wanted to add/remind anyone who sees this post that if you watch the Experiment Card Tournament today or tomorrow(March 27-28) with your Battle.net and YouTube account connected, you can use those tokens to help get enough tokens to buy the new Echo skin and new Roadhog skin. You can also watch on the Overwatch League Website and App as long as your Battle.net account is connected to the website or app. ~ Nova
OWL: Experiment Card Tournament and how to connect your Blizzard Battle Net account to YouTube.
So, I know that the Overwatch League fanbase isn’t as big as it used to be, but I still really enjoy watching it, and with the Experiment Card Tournament starting on Saturday March 27th at 3:00 pm(Eastern Daylight Time in the US), I want to go over improvements the Overwatch League are making to the watching experience. In the title for each section, it will be linked to the information straight from the Overwatch League website or twitter.
Experiment Card Tournament: This is a bunch of Overwatch League players from APAC and NA, as well as people who signed up, playing on the experiment patch that Saebyeolbe, Alan Gai, Jaewon Kim, Fran, Soon, and Space put together. They came up with 45 changes, that is currently on the Experimental Card, that the players will play on. Soe Gschwind, Matt “MrX” Morello, and Jonathan “Reinforce” Larsson will be the anchors. You can watch it on the Overwatch League YouTube channel and still get tokens. Now let me explain.
Connecting your Battle Net Account to your YouTube account: First you need to have both a YouTube and Blizzard Battle Net account. Second, on the YouTube main page, you go to the menu/sidebar in the top left corner and scroll all the way down. When you get to the bottom, you will see the settings option. Third, you click on the settings option, then another menu comes up. On the new menu you click on the Connected Apps option. One of the apps you can connect to YouTube is Battle.net which is the Blizzard/Overwatch account. Finally, you click on the connect option for Battle.net, then it will ask you again if you want to connect, and you connect it. Boom! Everything is connected and when you watch you get your points!
Overwatch League 2021 Schedule: So, after the Experimental Card Tournament the 2021 Overwatch League Season will start. The first match will be on Friday, April 16th and it will be the Houston Outlaws vs the Dallas Fuel. Like I mentioned early, you will be able to watch it on the Overwatch League YouTube channel, and you can watch it on the Overwatch League app.
Anyways, I hope this helps anyone who hasn’t kept up with all of the information that the Overwatch League has been posting on their twitter or YouTube. I’ll be posting about a possible Blackwatch Sniper soon.
TLDR: Just read the full post, please.

OWL: The Overwatch League Vault
Alright, sorry this is a little late, but it is important! From now until August Tuesday 24th, you will be able to get 4 old Overwatch League-themed skins. You will be able to get...
Zen-Nakji is a Zenyatta skin designed for the 2018 OWL Season MVP Seong-Hyun "Jjonak" Bang.
Flying Ace is a Winston skin designed to celebrate the London Spitfire's 2018 championship win.
GOAT is a Brigitte skin designed to pay homage to the GOAT meta that dominated the 2019 OWL Season.
Thunder is a Doomfist skin designed to celebrate the San Francisco Shock's 2019 championship win.
I'm super glad these skins came back because I wasn't able to get them originally, so that's really cool! Each skin costs 200 OWL tokens and you can get tokens for free by watching the Overwatch League on YouTube, on the app, or on the website.
TLDR: You can get Zen-Nakji Zenyatta, Flying Ace Winston, GOAT Brigitte, and Thunder Doomfist from now until August 24th for 200 OWL tokens each. You can watch the Overwatch League on YouTube and on their website/app if you want to get tokens.
Overwatch League: Playoffs!
Alright, as I am writing this, the first 2021 Playoffs match is happening in about an hour. Tonight, (for me at least, check what time zone you are in, I'm EST in the US), we will have the first four matches of the Winner's Bracket. I believe that the Watchpoint Preshow with Soe, Danny, Custa, and Reinforce will be first, starting in an hour or so, with the matches coming after that. Here is a list of the matches happening live tonight. All of these matches encores will be tomorrow. Remember this is all in Eastern Standard Time.
- Washington Justice vs. Dallas Fuel: 7:00 pm.
- Philadelphia Fusion vs. LA Gladiators: 8:30 pm.
- San Francisco Shock vs. Shanghai Dragons: 10:00 pm.
- Atlanta Reign vs. Chengdu Hunters: 11:30 pm.
You will be able to watch this on the Overwatch League's YT channel. Make sure to connect your Battlenet Blizzard account to your YT account if you want to get drops. Here is a link to another post I made about drops and how to connect your accounts.
