AU lore drop, because i was originally planning on making this a shape study but ended up locking in and making my AU Sapphire.
Sapphire was a Rare aristocratic Homeworld Gem made from the most gorgeous of cuts and mineral. Originally sent to Earth as an expat to help aid with her future vision to stop a rebellion from continuation. While rebellions aren't new, they are commonly very small, at most only managing to go up to 2-3 members before being taken care of. With this one being no exception due to the fact only 2 Gems had started a small scale one. However on that fateful day she was to giver her predictions after surveying the Cloud Arena, a certain someone managed to make her loose track of the fate bestowed onto the Gems that were involved.
I hope y'all could atleast catch some of what i was yapping about.
One of the key features of this AU that i wanna make apparent is the addition to the already established caste system for Gemkind. Instead of just Cross-gem fusion being outlawed, i now made so that Gem fusion between different color types is also prohibited. Even if the Gem are of the same type. I.e no fusion between two different colored quartzes etc. also certain types of gems were only ever made for one specific diamond in mind, like Sapphires being Blue Diamond Gems only, Ruby's being Pink Diamond only etc. etc. and lastly i also made it so that Gems are strictly only allowed to come in the colors of one of the five diamonds, if there occurs any different color it will be deemed as defective.
