This artwork was entirely painted in MS Paint! I hadn't drawn in MS Paint since 2012 so revisiting it was both fun and nostalgic! ✍🎨

Kohana is a half-tengu (yokai with a crow-like appearance 👺) maiko from the 19th century, so I used a style similar to Japanese Ukiyo-e portraits. 🌊

Kohana's name also means "Little Flower" so I included many flowers around her, the farthest ones in black as homage to her supernatural self. You can also see the Japanese spelling of Kohana's name above my signature! 🗻🌸

Cringetober Day 5: MS Paint

This is pretty last minute but I tried making another mermaid. Kaede Sakamoto as a Manta Ray(which I only releziase recently are different from Stingrays) and one as a Jellfish(google tells me its called a Tide Chaser? feel free to correct me if thats not it).

The mermaid arts are meh over all, but i wanted to get some use outta MerMay2024 tag. So there. Any other questions feel free to ask.
