IT WAS SPRING time, It was the first day of the new year's student admissions. A boy was walking with cherry blossoms decorating the road, the petals were falling from the wind making them decorating the streets pink.
"Are you sure it's that way Shouta?" Ask the girl to point the way where her friend was certain where their school is. "As far as I remember, the direction of our school is this way, not that way." added the girl with an unsure expression to her friend who said the correct direction for their school was the opposite direction.
"I'm not too sure, we'd be late if we choose the wrong direction to the school." He answered rubbing the back of his neck. "We should have gone with Ryu." They both groaned and mentally wish that they won't be late on their first day unaware of someone's presence behind them.
"Excuse me." A low voice starts, and the sudden voice made them turn around.
Finally looking at the person, it had taken you by surprise. He was tall probably the same height as Kazehaya, and his shoulder was quite big, but what surprised you a lot more than his voice was the bangs that covered his eyes a little.
"If you're going to Kitahoro High, it's that way." You heard him speak, He pointed to the road that you had pointed out earlier.
A smile crawled its way to your face, "Thank you" you beamed at him. His figure went stiff at your smile with the wind softly blowing your hair to the side. He gave a small nod before walking away his ears slowly turning red.
It was the first time for him that a strange said thank you and smiled at him without being weird or running away.
