This song just reminds me of SCOUPS. I feel like breaking up with Seungcheol would feel like this song. He was the sweet boyfriend who did everything to please you, that would always put you first , but at a point you decided to break up, because you felt that you didn’t deserve all that love and attention from him. It would feel empty and this song makes me feel nostalgic and regretful of a past person. This song just makes you realize how far apart y’all are from each other now, and how you wish it wasn’t the case…

This song always felt comforting for me somehow because I do have a bad relationship with my dad , and Wonwoo has this male aura that really calms and comfort me. I just feel like the lyrics, Wonwoo would be the type to want to hide with you, comfort you, make sure you are alright with only words or his presence. He would wish that he could erase anything that’s bothering you. Also Wonwoo is described as a positive person by the other members, so I feel like he would try to make you see the good side of things and help you heal :)

THIS SONG is one of my fave neighborhood’s songs. This song makes me thinks of Mingyu, because it’s just his theme song of falling from friends to lovers with Mingyu. This song makes me think of going on a late night trip with Mingyu and do the stupidest things and laugh your lungs out, eat ice cream at the edge of a bridge, feets dancing in the emptiness. Mingyu pushing a strand of your hair behind your ear to kiss quickly your cheek and leave u flustered. At the end of the day, he’s your best friend and you will love him forever.

Cry baby or Afraid
Okay, so I think Afraid would really suits Vernon music taste if I was to recommend him a The Neighborhood’s songs somehow, but I also thinks Cry baby fits with Vernon. I don’t it’s not particularly the lyrics but more about the vibe of the song. I would imagine Vernon skating on this song or walking at night with this song in his earbuds. It gives me sunset vibe and I just feels like it fits Vernon. Cry baby is one of my fave songs too from the group, I feel like it has a perfect vibe of nostalgia/fun and seriousness somehow that quit reflect Vernon in my eyes.

You were in the middle of the woods walking back home from a bonfire that one of your friends threw as a back-to-school party, she insisted that you stayed over, but you knew your parents were probably already mad at you for walking out in the first place so you decided to go home to apologize to them. On your way back you heard growling and saw some guy shoot a wolf with a tranquillizer, you waited for them to leave before releasing the wolf, you went over to the cage and saw the wolf looking scared and it even growled at you.
“Hey you don’t need to be scared, I’m just like you,” you said while flashing your golden yellow eyes at the wolf and he turned back into his human form.
“Hurry, they’ll be back soon.”
“How did this even happen?” you ask finally setting him free.
“I went out hunting, I saw a bonfire, and that’s when they got me,” he told you while you guys approached your house.
“I gotta go, but don’t get caught again,” you told him smiling while walking inside your house to talk to your parents.
𝒘𝒐𝒏𝒘𝒐𝒐;
You were out in the woods playing hide-and-seek with you older sister, which she was very good at, you could never find her unless she wanted to be found, which was how she played with you, she was a hybrid, which meant that she was stronger and faster than you. While you were running you came across a wolf in a cage, you made the decision of helping him, but he just got angry, snarling at you, trying to make you to stay away from him.
“Now I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” you said flashing you eyes at him signaling that you were just like him which made him turn back into his human form.
“Who are you?”
“Right now I’m the person who’s saving you,” you told him trying to pull the lock off the cage, but you weren’t strong enough that’s when you sister came up.
“Let me help,” she says ripping the lock straight off of the cage.
“Thanks,” he says as you and your sister go back home for dinner.
𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒚𝒖;
It was your first night turning and you were afraid of what you might do, but your parents helped you through it, you all went into the woods, but when the hunters came you guys all scattered, you figured your parents eventually ended up home, but you went to go check on if the hunters got someone. When you approached the cage you saw him, he was scared and vulnerable, you tried to get him out of there before the hunters came back and tried some experiments on him.
“Who are you?”
“You are so stupid,” you told him flashing your golden eyes at him while smiling.
“I was trying to get back my pack when I turned, that’s how they got me, now get me out of here, please,” he says as you managed to get the lock of of the cage.
“Since I saved you can you help me look for my family?” you asked him as you guys went searching for them.
𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒐𝒏;
You were out in the woods just wondering around when you heard whinning in the distance, you went to go find the source of the noise, you found a wounded wolf in a cage, it brought tears to your eyes to see the fellow wolf like this. You stooped down becoming eye level with the wolf showing him your golden yellow eyes, which made him learn to trust you for help.
“Now let’s try to get you out of here,” you say as he turns back into human form.
“Please, they’ll be back soon, I can hear them.”
“I can hear them too, we are the same y’know,” you told him finally breaking the lock off of the cage.
“Now let’s go before they get back and they’re close,” he says as you two leave trying to stay clear of the hunters.
