Born in America, Mrshll made headlines in 2017 as he became the first openly gay male singer in Korea. He’s since performed at Pride in Seoul
Maman (Soloist)
Maman debuted in 2015 and immediately came out as a lesbian afterwards, making Kpop history as she was the first idol to do so. Unfortunately, this caused her to be dropped from her company directly after.
Kangmin (Romeo)
While not as open as the others on this list, Kangmin brought attention to himself and his group when he stated that his ideal type is a man. He’s since given the same response when asked the question at later dates.
Ungjae (Imfact)
Much like Kangmin, he’s not as open as others on this list however during a Vlive he stated that he’s a bit confused about his sexual orientation and that his preference keeps going back and forth between girls and guys. He’s also referenced male actors as being his type.
Holland (Soloist)
Probably one of the first idols to come to mind when discussing LGBT idols, Holland became one of the most well known gay idols when he debuted in 2018. While not the first idol to come out, he received the most attention so far (perhaps second to Sunmi in lieu of recent news) and is often credited as being the first idol to be completely open about his sexuality.

Hi, I'm not sure if you're still taking requests but if you are, may I please request vernon from seventeen. Something sad. It's loosely based on Taylor Swift's song August. Vernon is leaving the little beach town he spent his summer at with his grandma, while there he ended up in a short relationship with Y/n. They both knew the relationship would end but they both weren't ready to say goodbye. Towards the end Vernon kisses Y/n and she's crying, gripping his shirt. (It takes place on the beach)

as you stepped foot into the little coffee shop near your house, you see the regular customers chatting and laughing but someone stands out. a new face.
it's like he's glowing.
his smile is so radiant and captivating and his laugh is so cute.
it's when he turns to look at you when you realise you're staring. you quickly look away but you don't see the shy smile he gives back at you.
you feel a tap on your shoulder so you turn around.
"uh, hey. uhm i thought you were kind of cute so uh could i maybe get your number?"
it's the boy you were staring at earlier.
"oh sure!"
you pick up a piece of paper and a pen from the counter and scribble down your number.
"here you go...?"
"vernon." vernon smiles as you hand him the piece of paper. "thanks...?" he tilts his head to the left slightly.
"_____." you give him what you hope is a sweet smile. "i'll text you later, _____" vernon smiles at you and walks away, clutching the piece of paper with your number on it.
july;
you're hanging out with vernon again for what feels like the 100th time this summer. you found out that he is only staying here for the summer because it was his grandma's hometown.
"vernon?" you are both sitting on your bed, cross legged, hands intertwined. "yeah?" he replies looking at you. "when do you have to leave?" he gently grabs your other hand as well, looking at you.
"at the end of august. the end of summer" he says, pulling you closer to him by the waist. "so we don't have that much time together" you whisper, mostly to yourself.
"i guess so" he says, squeezing your hand. "let's make the most of it then." he says, getting off the bed and dragging you with him.
that day, you go to the beach together and splash each other with water. you get ice cream and you both order the same flavour! what a coincidence!
august;
august rolls around sooner than you thought it would. on vernon's last day here, you spend the day together on the beach.
"vernon..." you whisper as you both sit on the warm sand. tears are prickling down your cheeks. his arms wrap around your body as you cry into his shoulder.
"_____... i wish i didn't have to leave." he strokes your hair, tucking it behind your ear. "will you ever come back?" you look up at him with glossy eyes.
silence.
that was all you needed for more tears to spill out of your eyes. "_____, baby, i love you so much, okay?" he said he loves you. he's never said that before. "i-i love you too, vernon..."
your lips meet in a gentle kiss as you both cry together. his hands make their way to your waist and your make their way to his t-shirt gripping it tightly.
you pull away.
"please don't forget me vernon.." you mutter as he presses light kisses all over your face. "i'll never forget you, baby. i love you so much." he says, caressing your cheek.
your tears drop onto the sand as he gives your forehead one last kiss..

cold sheets engulf your hot body... the fact that your closest friends are ALL in love with you...
"oh goodness gracious, how the hell did i not see this coming? are they all really in love with me or are they all playing a sick prank... they wouldn’t do that... they know about **** so why would they mess with me now?!?" your brain couldn't stop rambling to yourself and it made you lose track of reality. soon enough, it was the next morning and your kids barge into your room and jump on your bed.
"momma! wake up!! daddy's home!!" nari squeals as kyun wraps his small body around your torso.
"nari, do you mean mingyu is here?" she nods quickly, jumps off of your bed, and runs to the door.
"y/n, open the door! we're here." mingyu says loudly while knocking on the door.
you finally open the door for the men outside of the door, nari began grabbing at mingyu and kyun runs around seungcheol, vernon, and wonwoo.
"you guys want breakfast? i have yet to make food for nari and kyun..." you say softly while petting kyun's head.
"just take a seat and i'll make some french toast and coffee for you guys."
mingyu, vernon, seungcheol, and your kids takes seats in your fairly large living room. wonwoo on the other hand decides to help you in the kitchen, he beats the eggs while you make coffee.
"woo, why did you have to tell me what you told me?" you stated while keeping your eyes on the cup in your hands. "y/n, you deserve to know."
"how long have you been in love with me?"
"ever since i knew what love is..."
you sighed softly while turning on the burner, you start on the french toast quietly when suddenly nari runs into the kitchen. "momma, daddy told me to give this to you!" she happily chirpped at you while handing you a small box with a necklace.
you chuckled and put the necklace on nari instead of you, "take care of this for me baby. tell mingyu thank you for me." she dances away from you and sings happily, "daddy's necklace for mommy is pretty!"
you finish making breakfast and cut up smaller pieces for your kids, "breakfast is ready! come here!"
the kids run to you and yelps which indicates that they want to sit in their high chair. "vern can you put them in their chairs? i need to get our coffee..." you say sweetly.
you turn around while everyone gets settled at your dining table. you pour out multiple cups of coffee amongst your guests and two small cups of warm milk.
the men in front of you were talking to your children and it made you very happy to see them get along, kind of weirds you out that nari calls mingyu her daddy but... as long as he makes her happy then that is all that matters...
the next couple hours consisted of basic household chores like washing dishes, doing laundry, and picking up after your own kids. in no time, it was the kids nap time and luckily wonwoo and mingyu knew that so they put them into clean clothes and put them to sleep. you dragged all the men in your home to the living room, it was finally time to understand what was going on...
it made you genuinely nervous but you knew it wouldn't be good to push this all behind.
"okay, i literally do not understand how all of you are in love with me... and why none of you told me..."
a mix of expressions are painted across the men's face but wonwoo slowly sits up and began to mumble his explantation
"y/n... do you think we had the courage to tell you that we love you? it was hard for vernon to gain your trust, it was hard for seungcheol to even make you acknowledge him..."
"wonwoo, you know exactly why i-i did all of those things." you voice began to shiver, he knows this is a sensitive topic for you and he knows that he's the only one who knows most of the story. "you kn-ow why it took me so long to l-et them in..."
seungcheol can see the pain from you past, something he never knew too much about... vernon knows that he put you through some pain in the past and he felt so guilty for doing so... mingyu was playing with his hands as he listens to you and wonwoo.
seungcheol cleared his throat softly to gain your attention and he asks a question you wish could just avoid for a long time but here it is... it smacked you right in the face.
"why did it take you so long to trust vernon and i? you know we aren't bad people..." his voice sound brittle, his eyes became glossy as they stare into yours.
you began shaking your head as you stood up, you grab a small box from the top of a cabinet. it was a memory box, not even your children knew about it. you slowly pull out an ancient photo, it was of you and ****.
wonwoo stood up and grabs the photo, "you told me you got rid of this y/n!" his voice began to raise as you started to pull out other things from the box. "wonwoo, don't raise your voice at y/n." mingyu says while looking up at wonwoo.
"gyu, it's okay. there's a reason why i kept it... i figured i end up telling vern and cheol one day."

a photo is passed amongst the men, a photo of you and your children's father. it was the last photo you took before the incident...
"y/n, who is this?" mingyu asks while fidgeting with the photo. his voice was small, it was unusual for him but he knows that if his voice was any louder you might've feared to explain your past.
you took a deep breath and looked up at them, "he's the father of nari and kyun... he was someone who made me feel safe for a good chunk of my life." your eyes became glossy as you started to think about the past.
"he left us four years ago, he just vanished... he didn't leave a message, he didn't take his things, he didn't do anything to indicate that he was leaving... he left me to struggle for the next four years of my life." your hands began to shake and tears ran down your face, mingyu's body sunk into the sofa, vernon and seungcheol clenched their fists and jaws, and wonwoo's eyes shut.
"y/n, he's a fucking scumbag and you know that."
"i know that wonwoo, but i loved him."
you stood up after that statement and held your torso to yourself.
"it took me so long to let seungcheol and vernon in, because i was afraid. i was afraid of letting you in, just to leave me once again. you know how hard it was for me to recover from this wonwoo..."
mingyu stood up and loosely wraps his arms around you, "hey, it's okay... we aren't going to leave you." his comfort made you bawl your eyes out.
seungcheol, vernon, and wonwoo wraps their arms around you and mingyu. their warmth made you even more emotional and sensitive.
"okay okay guys, you can stop hugging me. you guys are making me sweat." you begged with a breathy tone. their arms untangled and your kids began running out to you. nari and kyun push through the men and crawl up into your arms, "mommy, why were you crying? are you okay?"
you nod happily and hold your children very close to you, wonwoo secretly puts the photo into your memory box and hid it away from the kids. mingyu, vernon, and seungcheol laugh at your kids who tried to make funny faces.
