Shadowhunters taught me many important lessons. Like, if your love doesn't seem from both sides, just quit and go live in another country with a pregnant witch and her ex immortal husband or with your husband's best friend who's in love with you. Naturally you have to do this without saying anything to anyone, so they could even think that you're dead, and don't talk to anyone that you knew anymore.

btw I think that if Celine and Stephen were both still alive Jace would still have a difficult childhood, cause Stephen didn't love Celine but Celine did, so little Jace would have lived in a house were his father loved him as his child but regretting his existence cause he still loved his ex wife Amatis and Celine knew it and she would try to make Jace feel happy with his family, but Jace would still be angry at Stephen and would end up hating is father.

So in conclusion, Amatis and Stephen would have had a wonderful life and Celine deserved better.
