Share Your Pride say 2: Something that makes you happy!
My book cave:

Share Your Pride day 5: A moment you are proud of.
On July 3 of last year, I came out to my mom as gay. I was terrified, but I had a feeling she already knew. When I told her, she didn’t push me away, she didn’t yell, she didn’t tell me I was confused. Instead, she hugged me, and told me that she loved me, and she promised not to tell my dad until I was ready to tell him.
I still haven’t told my dad, I don’t think I’m ready for that yet, but my mom knows, and she accepts me for who I am, and I am so grateful for her everyday. And I’m so proud of myself for finally coming out to a member of my family, something I had yet to do.
Share Your Pride day 6: Tag your chosen family
Well if I’m doing this I first gotta tag my brother in all but blood @depressed-deranged-clown he’s been with me since almost day 1, don’t know where I’d be without him.
I also gotta tag @spidy-nugget my first and longest internet friend, you’ve seen me through some pretty rough shit, thank you for looking out for me ❤️
And to all my online and in person friends who see this that I couldn’t tag, this is for you too, all of you have helped to shape me into the person I am today and have given me a place to be my full, true self. For that, I am eternally grateful. Thank you for being my family.
Share Your Pride day 7: Favorite LGBTQIA+ book
This one is a tie for me, I have a few favorites as of now so I’ll just list them here,
Red, White, and Royal Blue - Casey McQuiston

Aristotle and Dante (both books) - Benjamin Alire Sáenz

Here’s the Spotify link:
I call it my “gaylist”
Share Your Pride day 9: Your favorite LGBTQIA+ tumblr
@justlgbtthings is my current go to for anything and everything gay that I could possibly need. Check them out!
Share Your Pride day 10: LGBTQIA+ cliche you most identify with
I own several flannels, enough to the point that my mom refuses to buy me any more.

Just look at all these options!
I also wear Doc Martins whenever possible (they look cool, okay?).

They even shine rainbow!
Maybe some of my fashion choices are considered lesbian stereotypes, but they’re dope choices, so call me a cliche.
Share Your Pride day 11: favorite LGBTQIA+ historical figure
Freddie Mercury

This man was an absolute icon and bicon.
Share Your Pride day 12: Remembering Orlando
On June 12, 2016, 49 people were shot and killed at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. Another 53 were injured. After a three-hour standoff, the killer was shot by local police.
As this post is a memorial for those whose lives were wrongfully taken, I will not be naming their killer. It would feel like a dishonor to do so, and anyone who wants to know his name can just look it up online.
Allow yourselves a moment of silence right now to reflect on your own situations, to educate yourselves, or to simply remember the fallen.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for your time. Stay safe out there, make good choices, and let’s celebrate the rest of this month as a way to honor those who can’t do it for themselves.
Share Your Pride day 13: When did you realize you weren’t straight?
I told this story last you so instead I think this time I’m going to talk about something that made a lot more sense once I figured it out.
If you’re at all familiar with my blog you probably know I’m a fan of the Riordanverse books; I read them in middle school and became obsessed. Well, when I started reading them I became very interested in Annabeth, even claimed I was a daughter of Athena (not true, too stupid, child of Apollo) and it took me an embarrassing amount of time to realize I didn’t want to BE Annabeth, I just wanted to be WITH her.
Share Your Pride day 14: Favorite LGBTQIA+ meme

Gotta give it to this one, I use this too much.
Share Your Pride day 15: Your favorite LGBTQIA+ ship
I’ll give you my current top 3
1. Greenelan - Emma Nolan/Alyssa Greene (The Prom)
2. Lumity - Luz Noceda/Amity Blight (TOH)
3. Firstprince - Alex Claremont-Diaz/Henry Fox-Mountchristen-Windsor (RWRB)

Share Your Pride day 19: Someone in your life who inspires you
Honestly all of the girls and women at my dance studio. They’re all so dedicated to what we do and they work so hard and I can only hope to reach their level some day. They’ve taught me so much.
Share Your Pride day 20: Song that reminds you of pride
It’s a classic. This song is also on my pride playlist, link in this post.
Share Your Pride day 21: A drag performer who inspires you
I’m not super into drag but I really admire Latrice Royale. She’s such a genuinely kind person but she’s not afraid to tell it like it is and I have so much respect for her overall demeanor and attitude.
