Yaereene: (grumbling) I don't even want to be here . . .
Syvis: You're here and you're going to like it.
Hastios: (whispering) She's fine, Mom.
Syvis: Much more crowded than last month.
Yaereene: (under breath) You probably paid them to be here.
Hastios: I see Councilor Erraine, Mom.

Nuvian: Yeah! And then, and then, and then he flung himself right into the wharf!
Luca: Really? Well I bet he was pretty scared of you!
Syvis: Ah, Luca. I didn't expect to see you. Arlayna, hello.
Luca: Syvis, pleasure to see you as well.
Arlayna: Greetings.
Syvis: I hope your journey here wasn't much trouble.
Luca: It wasn't too much of a burden. The Isle was much calmer, thank the gods, so it was a quick trip. Arlayna and I like Winmist and were planning on coming over anyway. Do you have business here?
Syvis: Hastios and I have a meeting with Councilor Erraine.
Luca: Is Yaereene with you? I saw Nuvian.
Syvis: (forced) She probably found your daughter.

Yaereene: WHOA—!
Shenarah: Come with me!
Yaereene: Why'd you pull me away?
Shenarah: You don't remember me?
Yaereene: Shenarah?
Shenarah: (giggling) Yeah.
Yaereene: I've missed you.
Shenarah: Listen, there's something I've wanted to do.
Yaereene: Oh? (kissed) Oh—!
Waking up in the middle of the night alone and confused. She finds herself covered in dirt in front of a strange building. Looking around anxiously she realizes these are unfamiliar surroundings.
“Where am I?” She thinks to herself looking around. A slight shiver goes up her spine causing her to hug herself and shake a little.
The more she examines her surroundings the more eerie it becomes she truly has no idea where she is or how she got there.
“Come on think?!” She says pacing back and fourth. Her head starts to throb as light flashes in front of her eyes. Not only can she not recall how she got here, she can’t even recall who she is!
“Who? Who am I..? What’s my name..?”
More flashes appear in her head, the throbbing becomes stronger the harder she tries to remember. Even more scared than before she begins to cry. None of this makes any sense.
Looking at the building in front of her, she decides to go see who or what is inside. The bright lights and weird signs almost… call to her.
Slowly ascending the steps, she tries to think of a not weird way to tell the owner that she has no idea where she is or how she got there. As she approaches the door and begins to knock it slowly cracks open a little.
“Hello..?” she whispers, afraid to disturb any possible resident.
“Hello?” She says a little louder.
Nothing.
Peering inside she sees a paper thrown all over the floor. Boxes with files labeled as “Evidence” and “Top Secret”. Slowly pushing the door open, she makes her way inside.
“Umm.. the door was open..” she begins to say as she walks in. Looking around the corner she notices no one is here. The place seems to have been abandoned.
Letting out a deep sigh of relief, she flops down on the bed hoping this is all a horrible nightmare.

I haven’t, I don’t think, I don’t really do too much when it comes to editing. Just some light editing in photoshop with levels and curves, and cleaning up the screenshots when objects get in the way. Gshade does alot of the heavy lifting, I use Vibrance by samanitheseabunny . I also use in game lighting mods, Sunblind, No Glo, No Blu.
I still consider myself an amateur editor and I’m always looking for tutorials myself to enhance my posts as much as possible. I’m actually doing the same and poking around simblr for inspiration during my hiatus because there are truly some breathtaking posts by creators that inspire me a great deal. ✨

I was heavily inspired by a particular movie scene for this chapter if it's not obvious ;).

Selene: So, what’s really going on with you and Noa? And don’t give me that “happy country life” whatever you gave mom and dad either.
Orion: What are you talking about?
Selene: You said it yourself. We’re twins. We’re connected at the brain. I get you want to seem like you got it all together to them, but you can be you around me.
Orion: I- [sighs] Yeah...
Orion: I don’t know.. Noa has all this trauma from his childhood that he just...sits on. I think he’s burying himself in this restaurant to avoid dealing with it. Or avoid dealing with me?
Selene: What do you mean deal with you?
Orion: Sometimes I feel like I want too much from him. That I’m making things harder for him because I want- more. I want what our parents have.
Selene: [laughs dryly] Wow, we’re a real piece of work, huh? How did we have the best example of what real love looks like but end up with such shitty relationships problems?
Orion: Speaking of, what are you going to do about Zoey?
Selene: Yeah...I don’t know. She hates my guts. She should. I fucked up.
Orion: Do you want to try and fix things?v
Selene: I don’t know if I can. She’s blocked my number. She sold the camper and she’s moving back in with her parents. I don’t even know what to say to her. When she looks at me, it’s like she doesn’t recognize me.
Orion: Maybe you can come stay with us until you figure things out? I know Adie would love that. I would too, Selene.
Selene: Thanks Ri, but I don’t think I could survive being so far from the ocean. Best therapy around is riding the waves.
Orion: I know what you mean but you should probably also go to actual therapy... Wait-
Orion: Where’s Adie?
Selene: What? She was with...oh, no..
Orion: Oh god...w-where’s my daughter?

Son of Elon Goldfield (filthy rich real estate developer and investor). A gorgeous young man of high origin trying to cut ties with his influential, oppressive family by setting up his own business. Awfully cheap Victorian house on the hill seems like a good start.
Dr. Mark Stonefall
Professor of Psychology, war veteran and member of the Parapsychological Association, investigates the paranormal with his loyal army pal and assistant, Jason. Author of several works on telepathy and extrasensory perception.
Gloria Heartaway
Mark's ex-girlfriend and therapy couch for a short time after the war. They graduated together from one faculty, yet Gloria is skeptical and finds parapsychology all fake, has strong belief in scientific methods and medicine. Mostly deals with trivia problems of high society wives.
Jason Analu
Former soldier and war veteran, Mark's flatmate and assistant. His family came from a lineage of (Sulani) healers and shamans, making him curious about his friend's research.
Elliot O'Brian
Wonder boy, a young man who beat the telepathy test giving 90% correct answers. While the world admires his abilities, his own family wishes him dead. Simply because you can't hide anything from Elliot. A cook from some small pizzeria who dreams about opening his own restaurant.
Pani Freya Burana
Hereditary witch, Tarot expert and medium who speaks with the dead through automatic writing. She lives in her own world of occult and believes she was born to give the living a well-deserved magic kick (for a small, almost insignificant fee of a few thousand). Author of ten books on how to open a Goddess within you and one on how to buy all your Goddess wants but can't afford.
Mr and Mrs Rogers
Servants in Hillhouse, strange pious, somber siblings who look after the mansion as their parents did before them, and their grandparents before that… They know that the house is haunted and the only way to avoid being cursed is to leave before dark, stay loyal and do their bids solemnly.
Hecate Moreno
15-years old Russell's half-sister, left by their father to Russell's care. Her mother died in a car crash when she was five. After Mr Moreno married a prosperous journalist and TV hostess and had three more kids with her, he lost any interest in his older kids as a painful reminder of his stressful past. Hecate is a grim, angry teen with a heart filled with dark thoughts and an irresistible appeal to horror movies. The only person she truly cares for is her brother. Secretly, she dreams about Russell turning into a vampire and eating up all their happy, successful family. She'd buy popcorn to watch that.

OMG! Thank you so much! It's so kind of you. You always have the right words to support me. It means a lot to me! Truly. Last few days I've been working on the characters. Needed to prepare my "actors" :D Fixed some of their features (It's super easy to do in Blender^^) and also changed their outfits for the first chapter (100 and 1 time already :D). Here are the three babies you've met in the first 2 episodes:
