Call of Duty OC: Zoey “Doe” Kilduff
Born to a zealous cult leader and notorious international arms dealer, Doe knew only to kill and fight since an early age and would face various forms of punishments if training was not done right under her father’s eye. She has grown to be the SAS’s most efficient soldier, despite her empowering emotions in the field. Though often rash and reckless, Doe’s impressive skills proved herself to be worthy of being a part of Task Force 141, joining Ghost and Soap in Al Marzah for a new assignment… and hopes for allowing the mask to crack.

The name Kilduff is of Irish or Scottish origin, an Anglicized form of Gaelic Mac Giolla Duibh ‘son of Giolla Dubh’ ‘the black-haired lad’ from dubh ‘dark black-haired’
Zoey has had four previous relationships in her younger days: two girlfriends, one boyfriend, and one partner. While she has kissed before, she has never actually gone all the way, and therefore is still technically a virgin. Despite having four failed relationships, she yearns for having a lifelong partner to give her the love she gives her partners
Ethically collects deer skulls for her art projects and paints them. Most of the paintings are of her fallen soldiers under her watch and makes them as a memorial in their honor
Turned this into a side gig of taxidermy and became a locally famous taxidermist in Scotland
Tends to use dark humor too often and accidentally lets the mask crack to reveal the darkest parts of her past

Takes pride in her figure and has no problem showing skin. Likes wearing crop tops, sports bras, and tank tops
LOVES Anjelica Huston’s Morticia Addams and Elvira and aspires to be like both women
Her first concert was a Rob Zombie concert and her uncle snuck her out to let her have some fun for the day when she was younger
If she wants to dress up more, her fashion sense leans way more into gothic fashion
Used to be able to braid her hair in minutes but due to losing her right arm, she can’t do it as fast (and tends to get her strands caught in the prosthetic’s joints)
Her arm tattoos used to be symmetrical but after losing her right arm, her left arm is the only half she has of the tattoo
Speaking of, she has a deer skull tattoo with roses on her chest and one on her back
She was trained in ballet, and she can dance on a more professional level
BACKSTORY
Born to a zealous cult leader and notorious international arms dealer, Zoey knew nothing more than hardships and crime. Her father only wanted a first born son to live up to his expectations and inherit his underground empire. Sadly for him, Zoey ended up being born first in a set of triplets, and hence forth swore to make her life a living hell for her. She had been set up for failure right from the start, living up to her father’s impossible expectations, enduring beatings and other punishments from him. Her mother would shield her three children from their father’s unpredictable wrath and fought with him, stood up to him and swore she would leave him and never let him see the triplets again.
At age 7, that was the last time Zoey would ever see her mother. No one would tell her or her siblings what happened to her or why she left without them, causing deep heartbreak in Zoey’s heart. However, that was also the same day she vowed to step up in her mother’s place and pick up where she left off. Her father’s cult only grew as did his underground arms dealership. His global connections allowed him to have his children be trained to be his own soldiers in his little cult army. Their teachers also set higher expectations on the triplets and some would take extreme measures to keep them in line, but Zoey would get the worst of it. Despite the cruel and unusual punishments, Zoey still tried to keep her siblings safe and did everything she could to make them smile.
She ended up proving to have above average intelligence than her father expected from her, having him believe her IQ was towards 180. Her specialties included espionage, sabotage, stealth, and hand-to-hand combat. At 15 after her and her siblings returned from a personal mission of her father’s in Ethiopia as child soldiers, the M16, SAS, FBI, and CIA had surrounded her father’s compound after they finally received a distress call coming from within. Her father suspected it was Zoey and so he used her as leverage to make any further threats, not wanting to be taken into custody. What none of them knew was that Rozric had ordered bombs be planted within the compounds’ ground floor walls in case he was to be arrested and captured.
As a last ditch effort, Rozric blew up the building and allowed it to collapse, hoping the rubble would kill everyone in the compound, Zoey and her siblings included. By some miracle, Zoey, Gavril, and Zayne were still alive and the two younger siblings were taken to safety, but medics and SAS soldiers had to get a huge concrete wall off of Zoey’s right arm. Unfortunately, they had to amputate her whole arm in order to get her out, and could not save her arm. CIA and M16 eventually found Rozric still alive and captured him, ending his criminal empire and forcing him into custody at the Broadmoore Hospital as he continues his ongoing trial for his crimes.
Once Zoey had recovered and was given a prosthetic arm, she and her siblings did their best to live a relatively normal life with their uncle after he took custody of them, but Zoey was always getting into fights she wasn’t involved in and even bullied by the kids during secondary school. By 17, she recalled the day she was rescued by the SAS members and thought about joining the military as an escape from her troubled past, and possibly a way to give closure to her father’s criminal empire for good. She waited until her 18th birthday and both her and her siblings set out to join their respective branches.
Despite being an amputee prior to joining the Royal Army, Zoey’s skills and speed overpowered her disability and was given the name “Doe” after unexpectedly breaking Royal Army running records and maneuverability. While her skills and abilities had her climb up to the top of the SAS, her behavior problems have gotten her into trouble plenty of times and threaten to be written up if she didn’t improve on them. It wasn’t until she was personally approached by Captain John Price himself that she was recruited into Task Force 141 and assigned a mission in Al Mazrah would Zoey allow herself to let loose and break the mask she kept up.

She ended up proving to have above average intelligence than her father expected from her. Her specialties included espionage, sabotage, stealth, and hand-to-hand combat. At 14 after her and her siblings returned from a personal mission of her father’s in Ethiopia as child soldiers, the M16, SAS, FBI, and CIA had surrounded her father’s compound after they finally received a distress call coming from within. Her father suspected it was Zoey and so he used her as leverage to make any further threats, not wanting to be taken into custody. What none of them knew was that Rozric had planted bombs within the compounds’ walls in case he was to be arrested and captured.
Once Zoey had recovered and was given a prosthetic arm, she and her siblings did their best to live a relatively normal life with their uncle, but Zoey was always getting into fights she wasn’t involved in and even bullied by the kids during secondary school. By 17, she recalled the day she was rescued by the SAS members and thought about joining the military as an escape from her troubled past, and possibly a way to give closure to her father’s criminal empire for good. She waited until her 18th birthday and both her and her siblings set out to join their respective branches.
Despite being an amputee prior to joining the Royal Army, Zoey’s skills and speed overpowered her disability and was given the name “Doe”. While her skills and abilities had her climb up to the top of the SAS, her behavior problems have gotten her into trouble plenty of times and threaten to be written up if she didn’t improve on them. It wasn’t until she was personally approached by Captain John Price himself that she was recruited into Task Force 141 and assigned a mission in Las Almas would Zoey allow herself to let loose and break the mask she kept up.
Ghost: My wife doesn’t bite
The wife in question:
boxer au simon “ghost” riley
⁃ everyone is exiting a kickboxing class you show up doe eyed with your little matching set and a bag the same color. simon immediately crosses the gym before soap or gaz get a chance to.
⁃ “i think i have something you’ll like.” simon offers hesitantly, if any other tall masked stranger approached you like that you’d leave for the sake of self preservation. but he’s so hesitant in the way he offers looking above your head and not making direct eye contact. his shoulders are drawn together like he’s trying to make himself smaller.
⁃ he ducks behind the desk and pulls out some Everlast hand wraps in the same color as your clothes.
“your favorite color.” he says jokingly
“how’d you know?” you laugh and for the first time he looks you in the eye and something shifts in your chest.
“you’ve got good taste.” he quips
he’s extends his hand in front of yours and you’re so dazed, you just hold his hand. simon is already tipsy of your laugh he considers kissing it. he begins wrapping your hand and the realization makes you flush with embarrassment.
⁃ until he starts talking… he’s explaining how the wraps work and which gloves he recommends and your initial reaction shifts into annoyance. you want to fuck with him just a little bit, because who is he to explain anything to you? he probably doesn’t even work here and you’ve been kickboxing for the last two years.
the stress relief it gave after your last break up worked wonders.
⁃ “do you want to practice with me love?” he offers after he lingers on your wrist
you concede and slip under the bar of the ring. his eyes tell you everything you don’t need to see the rest of his face to see his surprise. he explaining a hook and a jab to you, of course you nod a smile feigning ignorance as he tells you how he’ll explain the kicking motions afterward. you’re feeling a little triumphant when the false jab distracts him as you sweep him, he falls and makes a jagged hurt noise.
⁃ your playfulness turns to panic
“are you okay? i’m so sorry i didn’t mean to actually hurt you. i kind of expected you to grab my leg or move or laugh? i didn’t mean to—“ you fall to your knees beside him worried he hit his head. he shifts on to his back leaning lazily on he’s elbows and he’s smiling at you. that little fucker. or huge fucker honestly, he’s so tall he’s practically scraping the celling.
⁃ “you’re such an asshole.”
“wounded my pride, worse than a physical injury honestly.” simon looks up at you cheekily
“how long have you been doing this? do you work here? why did you come up to me?”
simon wants to toy with you a little more. he loves your short temper paired with your softness it’s intriguing. you’re so sweet worrying about him, would you be like that at one of his matches? anxious fluttering around saying a hail mary he won’t get hurt? or would you bask in the stadium lights, proud that he belongs to you? he intends to find out immediately.
“well ‘m a professional love, a man’s got to eat someway. my trainer price doesn’t love when i frighten the clients, but you’re too pretty to avoid.” simon winks at you like his accent isn’t flirtation enough
“i’m not afraid of you.” you lean in front of him on the mat and he gets a long look at your tits when he meets your eyes again you’re aware of how public this display is. you scramble to you feet and extend a hand to help him up and simon doesn’t move.
“get up.” you command in a harsh whisper
he shakes his head shamelessly drinking in your figure.
“seriously, get up someone could come in here.” you urge extending to gently kick him and in a moment he’s pulling your ankle shifting to ensure you fall directly on top of him. he places a gentle hand on the small of your back, respectful almost hesitant.
“now we’re even.” he teases
he smells like mint a touch of lavender and something distinctly him. you want him to lower his hand even though you’re in public. you almost want to kiss him, but then he’d get the wrong idea about your intentions. you were supposed to be scouring the price for this gym across from your apartment nothing more. he probably does this with every pretty customer that walks through the doors. you push yourself up using his chest as leverage.
“we are not even, you tricked me!” you scoff
“then let me make it up to you let me buy you dinner.” he offers
you can’t date this stranger at the gym across from you apartment. you’d see each other again, after dating your co-worker you decided not mix buisness and pleasure. boxing is an essential part of your routine, it’s safe and consistent. he’s roguishly attractive and probably not staying in the area.
“no thanks, you’re something but y’know you’re not from around here. i live here and i want a serious relationship.” you know your honesty will scare him away and you’ll never speak again
“well if you get off me, i can get on my knees and propose” simon smirks
you realize that you’ve been leaning directly on top of his chest, not shifting or standing.
“it’s one knee.” you counter as you slide off him and stand up
“for you i’d beg.” simon admitted
the way he looks at you for a second you almost believe him.
“i’m sure you offer that to ever pretty girl who walks in here.”
simon is serious about the begging, he’d wait as long you wanted to have you underneath him. but when he did have you whimpering his name, you’d be the one asking him just to put the tip in.
“come to my match tonight. if i win, you let me buy you dinner. our first real date.” simon promises
he’s such trouble and you want him despite it.
how many girls batting their eyelashes and love struck boys come to his matches longing to see him afterwards? one of them will surely take your place if you don’t attend.
“what if you lose?”
“i won’t.” simon drawls
“you think you’re that good?” you taunt
“i think you’re lucky.” simon breathed

Ghost was sitting quietly in the makeshift barracks, his thoughts a whirlwind of adrenaline and exhaustion from their recent mission. His gaze drifted around the room, taking in the faces of his fellow teammates—Soap, Gaz, and Price—all of whom were showing signs of fatigue after the intense operation.
His eyes eventually landed on Y/n, who was sitting quietly on a cot not too far from him. She looked just as exhausted as the rest of them. Still, there was something different about her expression - a hint of vulnerability beneath the stern mask she wore.
Ghost couldn't help but feel a pang of concern for her. Y/n was a tough soldier, every bit as skilled as any of his male teammates. But despite her strength and independence, he knew that the mission had taken a toll on her just as it had on all of them.
He watched as Y/n sat on the edge of her makeshift bed; her shoulders slumped slightly as she stared off into space. Ghost couldn't help but admire her strength and resilience, but he also couldn't ignore the weary look in her eyes.
As the minutes ticked by, Ghost's gaze remained fixed on Y/n, watching as she seemed to retreat further into her thoughts. It was clear that the stress of the mission had left her drained, and she was struggling to process everything that had happened.
Despite the fact that they were both wearing face masks, Ghost could tell that Y/n was close to her breaking point. He could see it in the tight set of her shoulders, in the way her eyes had a distant, unfocused look.
Ghost could feel the pull of a strange, protective instinct within him. He had never been one to show much emotion, but something about Y/n's vulnerability at that moment tugged at his heartstrings.
Without saying a word, he stood up from his seat and walked slowly over to where Y/n was sitting. She looked up as he approached, surprise flickering across her weary face.
"You okay?" Ghost asked gruffly, his normally stoic expression softened with a hint of concern. He dropped down to sit on the edge of her cot, his eyes never leaving her face.
Y/n gave him a small, tired smile. "Yeah," she said, her voice raspy with exhaustion. "Just...just tired, I guess."
Ghost studied her for a moment, his gaze sharp and perceptive. He could tell that there was more to it than just exhaustion, but he didn't press. Instead, he just nodded, his eyes never leaving hers.
"We all are," he said quietly, his voice gruff but gentle. "That mission was a hell of a ride."
Y/n nodded in silent agreement, her weary eyes meeting his. They sat there in silence for a few moments, the sounds of the base around them faded to background noise as they both took comfort in each other's presence.
"You did good out there," Ghost said suddenly, his voice almost a whisper. "You were in the thick of it, and you held your own."
"Never thought I would get a compliment from you Ghost," Y/n replied tiredly.
Ghost let out a soft huff of a laugh. "Don't get used to it," he muttered, his eyes still trained on her face. "But you deserve credit where credit is due."
Y/n chuckled softly, a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "You, giving out compliments? Something must be seriously wrong," she teased, her voice laced with exhaustion and humor.
Ghost rolled his eyes, but there was a hint of a smirk on his lips. "Don't push your luck," he warned, but there was no real heat behind his words.
They fell into silence again, but it was less tense now. There was a sort of comfort in the quiet. After several moments, Y/n spoke up, her voice soft. "Hey, Ghost?"
Ghost turned his head to look at her, his gaze focused. "Yeah?" he asked, his voice gruff but attentive.
Y/n took a shuddering breath, her eyes fixed on his. "Can I ask you something?" she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Ghost raised an eyebrow slightly but nodded, his expression curious. "Sure," he said. "What is it?"
Y/n fidgeted for a moment, her fingers picking at a loose thread on the cot. "It's just..." she began, her voice trembling slightly. "I need to ask you something, and I need you to be honest with me, alright?"
Ghost felt a twinge of concern at the vulnerability in her voice, but he nodded again, silently signaling for her to continue.
Y/n sucked in a deep breath, her body tense with nerves. "Do you...do you think I'm weak because I'm a woman?" she asked, her voice barely more than a whisper.
Ghost's eyes widened in surprise at the question, his expression hardening. He stared at her for a long moment, incredulous. "What the hell kind of question is that?" he asked gruffly, shaking his head in disbelief.
Y/n looked away, her cheeks burning with embarrassment. "I don't know," she mumbled. "It's just...I feel like I always have something to prove, you know? Like I have to work twice as hard to be taken seriously because I'm a woman."
Ghost's expression softened slightly at her words. He understood the feeling all too well, having experienced it himself as a soldier. "You're not weak," he said firmly. "Being a woman doesn't make you weak. You're a damn good soldier, Y/n, you know that, right?"
Y/n nodded, her eyes still fixed on the ground. "Yeah," she muttered. "But sometimes I feel like it doesn't matter how good I am. It's like people look at me and just see my gender, not my skills."
Ghost was quiet for a moment, mulling over her words. "You want my honest opinion?" he asked, his voice gruff but gentle.
"Obviously"
Ghost took a deep breath, his gaze meeting hers. "The people who only see your gender, the ones who don't see how skilled you are...they're blind," he stated bluntly. "You're a damn good soldier, Y/n, gender be damned. You've proved that time and time again. And anyone who can't see that...well, they're idiots."
Y/n looked up at him, her eyes wide with surprise at his harsh yet honest words. "That...that means a lot coming from you, Ghost," she murmured, a ghost of a smile playing on her lips.
Ghost nodded, his expression softening even further. "You've earned my respect, Y/n," he said gruffly. "You've earned it a hundred times over. You don't need to prove anything to me or anyone else."
As the conversation ended, a comfortable silence settled over the room. Ghost and Y/n sat side by side on the cot, the exhaustion from the mission still heavy in the air, but the tension between them had dissipated.
Ghost spoke up after a few moments, his voice low and gentle. "You should get some rest," he said, his eyes flickering to her tired form.
Y/n huffed a soft, tired laugh. "Yeah, you're probably right," she agreed, sagging further back against the cot. "But I doubt I'll be able to sleep just yet."
Ghost nodded, his gaze studying her for a moment. "I know the feeling," he said quietly. "But you need to try. You won't do yourself any favors by running on empty."
Ghost gave a small shrug. "I'm used to it," he said matter-of-factly. "I've gone days on end without sleep before. But you, you need your rest. You're human, after all."
Y/n rolled her eyes, a hint of a smile on her weary face. "Gee, thanks for reminding me," she drawled, her tone laced with sarcasm.
Ghost chuckled softly, the sound a rare display of his amusement. "Anytime," he said dryly. "Now, try and get some rest, yeah?"
Y/n sighed, her exhaustion finally overpowering her resistance. "Yeah, I guess I should give it a shot," she admitted reluctantly. "But wake me up if anything happens, okay?"
Ghost didn't respond immediately, his gaze drifting over her tired features. Finally, he nodded slightly. "I will," he said quietly, his voice gruff but sincere.
