I was watching my gay little Thai shows and I always wondered what the climate was in Thailand. I thought it was generally hot and humid, but I see the guys in these shows pull up in like three piece suits and stifling formal wear, and I, living in a generally hot place thought, “there’s no way. People must be exaggerating something because if it’s truly hot and humid like people say it is, there’s no way bitches are pulling up in these layered looks without completely melting or like passing out from heatstroke.” Yeah, turns out, the costume department is FAKING IT. They have multiple sets of the same freaking costumes in case sweat stains show up. There’s constantly makeup artists and staff fixing the BUCKETS of sweat these actors are pouring in their freaking monkey suits. They can’t show the sweat stains these people are accumulating because it would cause continuity issues. Idk why this has caused me so much mental strife this week, but I need something to do on break, and apparently that’s going to be questioning everything to do with t-dramas. And also crochet. Oh well.
