Sorry It's Short - Tumblr Posts
Heyyy idk if you’re doing match ups or not but if you are can I request a haikyuu one?
I’m 5ft 8, long brown hair, She/her and I’m a Taurus, ENFJ! I like baking and reading (it sounds quite boring Ik but bare with me) I’m the only one in my friend group who can order food so I come in with the big guns and order for everyone like the god I am😩 my mood changes like every two seconds I could be so dead and angry and then as soon as I do something I like I am far too hyper. My biggest ambition is to be a house wife to a very wealthy man 👰🏽♀️(I hate work) but yeah that’s it hahah thanks
this is gonna be really short because im not doing a match-up event so its just going to be the match and a few reasons why
i match you with kenma kozeme
In the time skip, he is rich, so you can be his housewife. along with the opposite of introvert and extrovert work well here, because i don't think kenma would be the best at ordering or talking to anyone at any business partys he has to go to so that the hardest job you'll have if you are his wife, you're his token extrovert
thank you I know its short but I might have another event soon where you can get and longer match up ( or something similar)
It was wrong, but I would've done it too.
Pairing: gender-neutral!reader x Druig
Summary: Reader has an unexpected talk with Druig about his previous actions.

“Did you have fun playing God for a while, Druig?”
Y/n spoke as he walked into one of the many ruined rooms after the variant attack in his little village.
“Oh great, so now you’re gonna lay into me too? Honestly y/n, I’ve already heard it all from the others and every time it’s the exact same lecture so I really don’t need this from you as well.”
“No, I think you did what many of us would’ve done in your place.”
Druig paused where he was standing, extremely shocked and even more confused, though he tried his best not to let it show on his face.
“Care to expand on that?”
Y/n breathes out a sigh before beginning the explanation they’ve been wanting to speak aloud since arriving at the forest.
“Druig, we've all been around for a long time. Helping people as we can while also having to stand by and watch as the people we save rip each other to shreds. And even if it’s not great, we are mostly used to that by now. But sometimes, the years you’ve spent trying your hardest and still not having it be enough can really weigh down on you. So yes, I do think the rest of us could have easily reacted the same as you did.”
There was a pause as the man was thinking over everything that y/n had said.
It seemed genuine, especially coming from them since he doesn’t think there has ever been a time when they weren’t either truly genuine or extremely blunt.
‘Always the elegant personality’ He thinks to himself. ‘But still...’ he ponders one more question.
“If it was so possible that you all at some point wanted to create peace and interfere with the humans, then why didn’t you? We’re all Eternals made by the same creator, so why do you think I was the only one to do this?”
His voice took on slightly more of an accusatory tone as he tried to figure out what the hell was going on in this conversation.
“I mean, we all have skills and special powers but you are the only one of us who has an ability that makes peace and control so easy, so… accessible. Even if it was forced, it was still peaceful.”
Druig was a bit confused at this because in all honesty, he felt shame for what he did. He took over these people's lives, and while it did give them peace, it was artificial and not consented. So does y/n think what he did was right?
“Wait so do you-”
“No. It was not right, Druig. I know that and you know that too. That is not a matter of opinion at this point. I am not saying that it was right for you to do that, morally or otherwise. I am only saying, I can understand why you did it.”
Y/n spoke in a softer but firm tone, grabbing Druig’s hand near the end of their statement and squeezing it between both of theirs.
“But don’t do it again. If this happens again I doubt anyone will be so forgiving.”
“Don’t worry, this won’t be a recurring thing. Besides, I can think of some other things that could maybe take up my time.” He said moving closer to them with a small smirk on his face, he always was quite the flirt around y/n.
“Mmm definitely”
Y/n’s voice had lowered to a more sultry tone, following his flirty gimmick as they continued, leaning in closer.
“Like... saving the world from an giant evil rock with a stupid name?”
The smirk that was previously there was exchanged for a small, but genuine smile and a laugh as he wrapped his arms around their frame, hugging as tightly as he could.
“Exactly like that.”
No more words were spoken, they just stood there, holding each other for the first time in thousands of years. Gripping onto the other for what felt like seconds but could’ve easily been hours until they heard Sersi’s voice calling out for them.
As they pulled away, a look of understanding was shared between the two. Even after knowing each Eternal member for all the same amount of centuries, they still shared a bond between just each other that no one else could combat. It was an odd sort of understanding, an unspoken agreement, some would say.
They keep each other in check, make sure they don’t go too off the rails. Balancing each other out until the day this world ends and another journey begins.
Or for the rest of eternity, either one works really.
Lucette struggled to hold back the wide grin that would have no doubt split her face in half when the clockwork talked about how long it has been around and how it has seen more than she could imagine. If only the poor thing knew what she had hidden under these pitch black curls. But Uncle told her not to even whisper of it to anyone, clockwork or no, so she shall stay quiet. Play the part of the dutiful niece and keep her secrets. For now.
“I see. Interesting. You seem to have quite a...content relationship with the Grand Marshall.” She said, stating a mere observation. If her voice sounded serpent-like, well that’s only her imagination, after all.
@kingarise
“Did you see the actual tale itself or something that reminds you of it? And how are you certain that you will not be forgotten?”
She asked in her royal tone used in meetings or at Court. She tilted her head in curiosity when the clockwork started scribbling something on the notepad. She had noticed it earlier but never commented on it out of concern of more important things.
“And may I ask why you carry that around and under your hat of all places?”

Talia made a motion with her head, clearly an eyeroll if she had eyes.
She stood up and walked over to a red and yellow flower and squatted down to it, staring at it.
“I’ve been around longer than you could ever imagine. I was a last minute adjustment to a simple record keeping bot.”
Talia sat down on the ground, crossinf her legs.
“I’ve seen far much and been apart of far much more than you could imagine. Far much more than any stormy any wrinkle on a old dog’s face could tell.”
Talia looked back to Lucette.
“Oh. And bots don’t have pockets. Usually.”
She paused again.
“…and Rooke taught me to.”
For the wonderful @la-sera. You're such a talented artist and kind person, thank you for posting your beautiful works! Here's a short fic I wrote for Fan Joy July, based on this comic you made. I hope you like it.
Hyrule had always been a light sleeper. He could be woken up by the quietest sounds, whether it be footsteps from the other Links, or even crickets that chirped too loudly. And in tonight’s case, he was stirred awake by Legend’s mumbling.
He couldn’t make out what he was saying, but his tone was pleading and desperate.
He propped himself up, turning around to face Legend. He was shaking, and he had broken out in a cold sweat. His entire face was scrunched together in distress, and even his ears were starting to droop from whatever horror he was dreaming of. Hyrule heard him grinding his teeth, and he watched as his hands clenched into fists.
A soft whimper escaped him, and Hyrule belatedly realized that he was also crying. The veteran, the one who acted so unaffected by his quests, was crying. The healer felt a gap open in his chest at seeing how devastated and scared Legend looked. Despite all the battles and dungeons they had faced together, he had never seen the veteran look so vulnerable.
The healer slowly reached for his shoulder, putting his hand down with a feather-light touch. He hoped that it would be gentle enough to not scare Legend, but he should have known better. Because as soon as he touched his predecessor, Legend grabbed his wrist in a vice grip.
The veteran snapped, “Touch me again and I swear-”
“It's just me, it's Hyrule!” He hurriedly explained, “You were having a nightmare, I wanted to wake you up…”
Legend stared at him for several more seconds before seeming to finally realize he wasn't under attack. He sighed and let go of the traveler’s wrist. He flung his hand over his eyes, trying to hide the tears that were falling down his face.
Hyrule put his hand on his brother's arms, trying to calm him down.
“It’s okay to cry…” he said softly. But Legend just huffed and turned around, facing his back at the traveler.
“I'm fine,” he muttered. Hyrule frowned before awkwardly lying back down, feeling dejected. He knew that Legend was still scared, whether he wanted to admit it or not. But how could he help? What would make him feel safer and looked after?
The answer was so simple, Hyrule nearly laughed.
He pressed his back against Legend’s, feeling his brother flinch slightly from surprise.
“Don't worry, vet, I've got your back.”
The traveler felt the veteran relax and within a few minutes, Legend started to snore softly. Hyrule smiled and closed his eyes, happy that he could help his brother.
The Pyro nodded, and rapidly opened and closed his hands, an attempt to signal ‘Give.’ Pyro began making several rapid gestures, like he was trying to explain something without talking. Then, once it seemed like they were done, they simply began walking in the direction of the kitchen.
"Hey zhere, Pyro! Heard there was somezhing going on about your wee-one? I am not one for gallivanting in zhe snow, but if it's got a favorite meal: Maybe I can cook somzhing up as a lure?"
