Star Wars Is Breaking My Heart - Tumblr Posts
All I’m going to say is- I’m not mad at anybody this episode.
I think everybody had the right to do what they did, and this is coming from a huge Hunter stan.
The batch gave Crosshair the chance, I don’t want people to forget that, I know they weren’t persistent, but it still happened, they still offered him the chance to join them, for them to be whole again.
But Cross didn’t want that- or at least he thinks he doesn’t want that, but right now there’s nothing he can do, if his chip is still intact (which I believe it is from the lack of scar and the holding his head) then he still believes in loyalty to the empire! He can’t help it, but that’s what he chose. Equally the batch can’t do anything about that right now, in order to keep one another safe, they can’t wait around for scouts to find them.
Stunning Crosshair would’ve taken away his right to his own choice, that would’ve caused more issues than necessary.
Hunter is still doing what is best for his squad, and we need to take Wrecker and Tech into this too. They have every right to be hurt. I’ve never thought about it this way, but they’re right, I know the batch didn’t go back for Cross (and I’m still mad at them for it), but Cross didn’t seek them out either, and he probably had the resources to do so more than they did!
I just- I don’t want to see slander towards any of them. They all have their reasonings right now. It sucks that they’re not together again, but it’s going to set up for an amazing season 2, I know it will. Hunter is protecting who he can, he gave Crosshair the choice to be one of those people, Crosshair declined. That isn’t Hunter’s fault.
Equally it isn’t Cross’s fault, with how he’s been treated I don’t blame him, but it’s not Hunter’s fault, and I don’t want to see any backlash towards either of them.
Heartbreaking
I LOVE Omega and Crosshair!!!! He needs to come home and bond with Omega lol!!!! Please for my own sanity and because people are NOT making enough fanfictions with these two...unless I’m just not finding many (only know of three sites that are for fanfiction).
Crosshair is completely fine and chilling with Omega. Canon, who? We don’t know them.

Please please please season 2 be kinder to us who love Cross and don’t want him separated from his WHOLE family (because Omega needs her Ori Vod too and we see how her little heart is breaking for him too)!!!!
Season 1’s finale broke my heart...on par with season 2’s finale of The Mandalorian and I’m OBSESSED with anything Grogu. Favorite of all the shows right now are: tying for number 1 is The Mandalorian and The Bad Batch and tying for number 2 is The Clone Wars and Rebels!
Speaking of content I desperately crave. Bring back toasty toothpick man. I will not rest till the Bad batch is a whole family again.
Someone please please please help me!!!! I cannot find barely anywhere (especially any that aren’t just a one shot) Fanfictions for Crosshair AND Omega. I’m looking for mainly ones that have just the characters from SW/TBB, not ones where the reader can insert themselves/make up the character(s) for themselves. If that makes sense at all (have TBI, traumatic brain injury and my sentences and words don’t always come out right/make the best sense).
I’ve read most on both Archive Of Our Own and FanFiction.Net is there anywhere else to find any? Or anyone that is currently working on any and/or finished work, etc :).
Apparently, I must be in a category mainly on my own with NEEDING these two and not getting enough of them. I’m SOOOO heartbroken over the finale! I don’t know why I’m so in love with these two characters and especially their dynamic together!!!!
