Day seventeen.
I SHALL reach line 100 before day 20, I shall!
It's good to be working daily on this project again.
Day 17.
And of course this is the other thing I spent my weekend working on. I'm about 25% done. Book 2 is the longest book of the Iliad, at 877 lines. I'm around line 220.
I'm working on this book a lot more slowly than I did book 1. But I wasn't also working for a PhD when I did book 1. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
I'm hoping I can finish this whole project at around the same time I finish my PhD, which gives me 3-4 years more.

Day 62.
Day 72. I took a few days off because I need to buy more thread and needles, an because of our minor heat wave. I do not function well in heat.
Wonderful photo of the work, but please ignore my blurry face in the background. I didn't realise I was going to be in some of the photos, and it was a very hot day and I'd been running around like crazy helping with the graduand leaving party. Hot and sweaty is not a flattering look.
This afternoon I am giving a talk at UCL about the Stitched Iliad. It is open to the public, if you happen to be in London at around 4.00pm
