Backstory
Sefu had a pretty normal childhood besides living next door to the champion. growing up he knew Leon well enough due to being best friends with Hop aswell as being their next door neighbor. Seriously Game Freak there is no way that Leon would have never met his little brother’s childhood best friend who lives right across the street before the events of the game. The only thing out of the ordinary about Sefu was his frequent escapades into the Slumbering Weald when no one was looking. he never ventured far into the woods, but he did watch and occasionally play with the wild low level pokemon. But what could you expect when it is literally in his backyard?
At the start of his pokemon journey Sefu was fairly reserved and inquisitive. As time went on he became more assertive and outspoken.
personality wise, he is clever and incredibly determined. He is a completionist in just about anything he does. He is a nerd and proud of it. He has had every possible type match up memorized since he was a kid, something Hop teases him for often. As mentioned before, Sefu is the only sane and functional brain in all of galar. He is very much the adult in the room. That being said, he does have a little bit of a secret mischievous side.

Seriously the best way I can describe him is a dramatic anime protagonist

Before he evolved he liked to ride in sefu's backpack. He still tries to ride in sefu's backpack.
Has a tendency to wander off...
Nevermore - female, serious, alert to sounds.

Is low key unamused perpetually
Zacian - timid, alert to sounds
Likes to silently watch people from afar
Acts all mysterious mainly because that tends to keep people from approaching and they don't want to have to interact with people.

I’m not gonna say anything about the others but I think ppl like Leon/Hop are a bit ambiguous on purpose bc when I played I saw my sort of desi in them and other ppl can see themselves and that’s ok
any poc representation makes me very happy and a 10yo & 18yo me are equally thrilled that there is someone who looks remotely like me in a game
maybe this post isn’t the best place to make this point tho bc I don’t wanna be discouraging to anyone + I know other poc ppl probably experienced similar issues with representation as a child
