More problematic young Wade / Professor Logan thoughts:

Imagine Wade in his late twenties, going back to school to get his degree after doing mercenary work for nearly a decade, and he just happens to sit in on a mutant history and rights guest lecture from Hank and Logan. Logan's wearing a suit and glasses and all the 19-20 year olds are smitten, but Wade's instantly obsessed.

Insert creepy stalking montage of him tailing Logan and breaking into his place at the X Mansion, figuring out his personal relationships, and even befriending Jubilee and some of the other younger X-Men just for an excuse to hang around the place and lust after Logan some more. People who flirt with Logan and the ones Logan flirt back with start disappearing, for no reason according to one ex-mercenary.

Logan catches him in the act one time and Wade gives him some half made-up backstory about how his parents, especially his dad, abused/abandoned him as a child and that's why he's so into Logan. The rest of the Xavier School faculty don't believe him, but Logan's got a soft spot for messed up kids, so he just lets Wade be weird and touchy around him. Wade even fakes getting black-out drunk and extra clingy to the point Logan lets him stay over for the night so he doesn't choke in his own vomit, and it somehow ends with them in the same bed and Wade humping his leg or something. Logan feels super guilty for also getting hard against a warm body, but Wade's already planning his next "accidental slip."

(I feel like the Wolverine origins Wade is much more psychotic than the one in the DP movies. This Logan is probably X-Men Evolution girldad Logan - confused and tired and just trying to keep all the chaotic kids with superpowers in check while this hot young thing keeps "accidentally" grinding against his ass.)
