Ruki got a greatly deserved and much needed update on his character sheet :) There are some small changes, like the colors of the mane and the ear fluff, plus his mane is more "compact" now.

Ghali scolding the king of Pridelands for coming to him for help... He is the leader of the Kiburi Pride, living in the Elephant Graveyard looooong before the plot of the movie.

Henear's last character sheet was done 2012, here an update! My OC, son of Sarabi and a rogue lion (who tried to sneak into the Pridelands and challenge Scar), born not long before Simba's takeover. I totally ship him with Vitani :3

Henear and Vitani, bc I've been rewatching Simba's Pride a lot lately and I ship those guys sooooo hard. Funny - I've drawn them together only once, thirteen years ago.

Here they are, two odd souls who finally found each other. /I'm in this part of fandom who headcanon's Vitani as bi. Henear is demi./

Now, queen of the Burnt Forest - Zakia of Burning Blood. Zakia took over her father's nearly wiped-out pride after a tedious fight with him. Rebuilding the pride took a lot of time and required discipline, strength and bravery. She is a consequent, but loving ruler, who will go to great lengths to secure a bright futures for her pridemembers. The Burnt Forest bloomed once again under her rule. Another Burning Blood here: Johari, the pride's sunshine and joy incarnate. Totally, 100% happy all the time. Goofy. A bit of an idiot, sometimes. Border patrol is his passion, especially when he gets to talk to Ruki about his day and how the sun is shining so nicely and that, hey, the grass there looks weird, and did you see how she looked at me two days ago? and... and... and. He is that one, overly enthusiastic friend, that is fun to have around, but is a bit too much sometimes. I can totally see how he aproaches Gorgen* for the first time with a big smile and the tail lifted high: "Oh, hi, I'm Johari! Your brother's best friend! I can be your friend, too!!!" <3 The stripe on his mane got shorter, plus I wanted to change his character a little bit - the Burning Blood Pride has enough of stoic, cranky, stubborn lions and needs a Golden Retriever boy among them, heh. *Ruki's long lost sister, Johari's future mate. Her new red sheet is on my to-do-list.

Hazel - son of Johari and Gorgen, Ardhi's brother, Asaya's mate. He is of average size for a lion, which is typical to the Burning Blood Pride (where Johari comes from), but inherited a bigger mane and muscular build after Gorgen's sire*. He is shy, but after getting to know others he blooms to be a great, funny companion. Artwork (c) @MadKakerlaken *I will probably doodle Ruki and Gorgen's sire, to show where it comes from! But, ofc, you can already see the fluffiness and strong build on Ruki's ref sheet.

Back to Gen 1 - Gorgen. She underwent quite a redesign.

G. is Ruki's sister, they even come from the same litter (she inherited her mother's slender figure, while her brother resembles their sire). The pride they come from was a cruel and ruthless one: the adolescents had to go through a brutal ritual to get a member status and gain the elders' recognition. Something went terribly wrong with Gorgen and Ruki, with the latter having to defend the lioness with his life. They both fled at the same moment, but Gorgen got quickly captured - the missing tail and scars on ther thighs remind her of that moment. The black-maned male was sure he will never see his beloved sister again, but when he saw her many years later as the unwilling bride of a small clan's king, he rescued her and brought her to The Burnt Forest. She is a fierce huntress - she tries her best to balance her movements with the short tail she has. Gorgen is also quite funny and easy-going, in the contrary to her ironic, always angry brother.. She later becomes best friends with Zakia. Johari's mate, dam to Ardhi and Hazel, Kii's grandmother (a title she shares with her bff Zakia, lol). Gorgen and artwork (c) @MadKakerlaken

P.S.: I'm planning to release a family tree of the Burning Blood Pride, so that it's easier to follow the connections. It's not a big one, since there are only 3 gens so far, but I'm not planning to do any more characters. I just want to concentrate on drawing the OCs I already have!

So I'm making this thing called "Kiaras pride. " I'm still working on kiaras, kovus design but here's my ocs that are going too be in it. The reason they are kovus kids bc in like real life the king(male lion) has a lot of baby's with females in the pride but his mate his main mate his kids with them are heir I know that let me know if I'm wrong 😭but here's my ocs ahea and her two daughters Freya and Nora. Nora is blind but Freya is a protective sister. I'm still working on kiaras and kovus kids but I have a idea they have one son and one girl so! I'm going too tag my favorite lion artist in this so I can see what they think. If anyone can help me with designs on Kiara and kovus kids let me know😭

Ahea is a proactive mother too her cubs even if they are young teens. She would fight larger or male lions too keep them safe and having a blind child

Nora is blind but she uses the ground too see kinda like toph In avatar something like that. She nicer too other lions in the pride then her sister Freya because Freya is more of a cranky cat so she likes too sleep but she if fast and a good hunter. But Freya and kiaras son Adris always tease or fight kinda like Nala and Simba as kids or Kiara and kovu when they meet again in the second movie.
