Why Phillip went by ‘Belos’
EEEE okay so I just found this out when I was searching up Belos wiki it came up on Wikipedia
The Greek meaning for Belos is deity and also a royal title
also different versions of the name belonged to different gods and loyalty
He must of known some of these things and chose Belos since it meant loyalty and a deity
THAT IS SO COOL I CANT ><

Even in the storyboards his hair is nice!! So puffy and fluffy (images from the wiki)

Again his hair is so cute and poofy in all of these but yea I love his facial expressions
Journal Phillip
Okay so now looking back at the clips we got from Phillips journal. The shadow doesn’t even look like him! I get we didn’t really see him in between that adult and child but he looks more like Caleb
Here he looks much more like Caleb then himself (also look at his fancy little outfit I like the lance cuffs heh)
Then as he ages we can see he starts to look more like the Phillip we have seen I can’t tell if just me thinking he looks like Caleb or smth

This song literally belongs to Phillip listening to it all I can think of is him like the lyrics just fits him so well

Grimwalker recipe
Okay so I dunno if this is just me picking everything apart but I don’t think anyone has mentioned this (please tell me if someone has already ^^) But they hinted Hunter being a Grimwalker without knowing! Well of course earlier we didn’t have the recipe for Grimwalkers
1. Galdorstone which we see and learn about in (season 2 episode 5.) ‘Through The Looking Glass’
2. Palistrom wood which we know of course makes palismen in episode (Season 2 Episode 5) ‘Hunting Palismen’ We know that palistrom wood is being over-harvested because of Belos demanding it for his curse but he could also need it for Grimwalker creation
3. Stonesleep Lungs (season 2 episode 12) ‘Elsewhere And Elsewhen’ We get to see a Stonesleep from the hecktaceous period and of course, we see the one guarding the collector and my guess that’s where he got the lungs from
4. Selkidomus scales (Season 2 Episode 1) Hunter is tasked to slay a Selkidomus and we never get context why so just using some context clues im guessing this is why (cough Grimwalkers supplies)
5. Bone of something but uh my guess he just used Caleb- (that sounds so weird to add) but my guess the 5th step is to just use a piece of bone from the person your creating- recreating?
Ahahah I just love how they hinted at all of this even before we find out what a Grimwalker is during the episode ‘Hollow Mind’
Lil Pip
I keep thinking about this lil Phillip I drew he is just a lil guy
I just want to pick him up and hug him
People irl started calling me Pip is this who I am now lol
My mom for years have been calling me Pip now I have reason to like it lol

Not a theater kid
Okay so I feel like if Phillip got to go to the Human realm normally and experience everyday stuff I feel like he would like musical theater. Not in a theater kid way but just he genuinely enjoys it and finds the acting really well done
He would enjoy some older theater though as it fits his taste more then newer things
(Okay this was just a random thought)

Caleb and Evelyn
I really wish we got to see Caleb and Evelyn and we’ll more of Phillips journey
I get the show was canceled and they had a limited amount of time but my one issue with the series is that the Wittbane plot feels very underdeveloped it had such good potential
But that’s why I’m happy fans expand on it <3
Hehe maybe one day they could release Phillips journal THAT WOULD BE SUCH A GOOD MERCH IDEA
But anyway that’s some of my thoughts also I just want to hear Phillips snarky remarks on witches and the boiling isles hehe

How am I just finding out about Belos being a sexyman I went on sexypedia and low and behold Belos was on there

Hollow Mind
I can’t believe it’s been a year since Hollow Mind came out! That episode changed The Owl House for me and well it made me like this now ahaha obsessed with Phillip and such. But on another note this episode was my favorite the writing was amazing and just the whole plot twist was so good and this episode just sucked me in way further into the Owl House then I would of ever thought. It deepens the lore and it’s just perfect. I very much agree and see why this episode is the highest rated one! Happy Hollow Mind Anniversary!! (I know I’m a bit late hahah)
