I left a note on this, but I have more thoughts so here I am lmao. In the note I said I think it's just the audio mixing, and I do believe that's part of it. But it's also been a decade since her VA performed as Harding. Actors and the way they perform change all the time, and this could be part of it. For better or for worse, I suppose. I could also be the location she recorded in or the equipment she used that's making it sound Off.
bro idk how to explain it but harding sounds almost AI or just like weirdly edited/mixed in the demo (i know she is obviously not AI, it just has that kinda shaky slightly choppy quality you get with AI attempts at human voices?)
like the voice actor has such a nice tone and she sounded fine in inquisition but every line in the veilguard demo sounds really choppy to me?? like "this - is - arlathan. forest." idk just not a natural reading of the lines IMO

I can't say I've ever pointed at dragon age combat and thought "wow that was a fun and central part of the experience that I will remember after I'm done playing." I hope I'm not the only one who thinks of DAV's combat as a significant improvement :')
I'm choosing to believe that the statement, "whoever you leave in the Fade doesn't matter" means the Veilguard doesn't get the chance to help that person, but it doesn't mean everyone who was an option won't ever appear in the game.
Honestly I would be happy if they only mentioned it as a possible option. Even if it gets turned down super quickly for this reason or another.
I think a moment where the Veilguard or Inky asks Dorian to find a way to redevelop the magic would be pretty interesting. I also imagine he would probably refuse because of how bad the shit it caused was.
Theory: What if the Veilguard ends up needing to use the time magic Dorian created? Rook fucked up that ritual Solas was doing, unleashed these gods, and now we have to go to the past and unfuck it? If we try, it probably won't work out properly, but Gods do I want to try.
What if we fuck up the magic and go all the way back in time to before the Veil existed? What if Bioware lied and we'll see Solas' beautiful hair physically in person instead of in a flashback?
I can't find it rn but I saw someone with a theory that the figures in the rift behind Solas could be the last Magisters that entered the Fade instead of the Evanuris. To that, all I have to say is- Solas would not have looked NEARLY as terrified of them as he did if that were the case.
I personally haven't read any of their articles before this. I see some people are surprised that there are spoilers, and others not at all. If you've read one of these articles before the DA publication, are they similar to it?

Soooooo after the new details that have been revealed about Veilguard, how do we all imagine a Solavellan reunion is going down? Trapped in the fade together? Lighthouse makeout sessions? A very sad mural dedicated to his Vhenan? My brain is infested with new headcanons.
