You know that scene in Jotunheim in Thor 1 when Volstagg's arm gets frostbite bc a Jotun touched him? I personally think it only happens when they feel threatened. Like, considering what little we actually know about Jotunheim (other than Asgardian propaganda) I think it's plausible.
