I watched 3rd life when it came out, but I don't think I've ever drawn it, just last life.

As the dark sky is lite with orange and red hues, Daphne and Brittany sit in the old treehouse that watches over the town in Daphne's backyard.

"Remember when we were seven, and your old neighbor Mason would come over every day during the summer and bother us to hang out with him?" Brittany asks Daphne as she looks over the town, watching the flames spread door to door.

Daphen scoffs, "I remember, it was fun at first and then it got kind of annoying seeing him every day. Like now, I understand that he probably felt lonely and wanted some company but as a seven-year-old it just felt bothersome. I wanted to just hang out with you" Daphen responds looking up into the star lite sky.

"I still can't believe he fell out of that tree like that, I know now that must have hurt badly," Brittany giggles slightly at the memory. Daphne smiles softly at that.

"I wonder when everything went so wrong. I can just remember that like it was yesterday. When did everything get so messed up?", Daphne sighs as she lays back on the floor of the treehouse. After a minute, Daphne looks at Brittany seeing her deep in thought at her questions.

"Probably when people were messing with things they shouldn't have. Plus, people here got bored. It was a new discovery, I would understand being excited about it back then," Brittany says, sighing softly.

"Well, they should have just been excited! Look at where we are now," Daphne exclaims standing up, raising her hands towards the distant flames in a frustrated manner.

"I understand Daphne, but we can't judge someone's decisions after they have already been ma-"

"They deserved to be judged; I mean look at where those researchers ended up. In the flames like the rest of them. Stupid asses. Weren't there enough movies to indicate NOT to do what they did?" Daphne sighs, sitting back down staring straight into the flames as they move closer and closer to the treehouse.

"I guess you are right. Now we are here, and they are there. Are you ready?" Brittany asks, fear and doubt overcoming her.

"I guess...I don't want to feel the flames, " Daphne says. One by one, they take the pill that will quickly take effect. As they make eye contact, they both begin to cry. The fear and terror of the situation finally overcoming them as the realization finally reaches them.

"I love you Daphne" Brittany says shakenly.

"I love you too Brittany. May we see each other in our next life. I hope I get to be your daughter" Daphne laughs, the sound coming out hoarse as the pill begins to take place.

"And I hope I get to be your daughter in the life after that" Brittany says sluggishly, resting her hand in Daphne's. Finally, both of them succumb to the pill's effects. Allowing them to peacefully go before the fire reaches them.

Here's a (really badly taken) photo of a picture I drew of Princess Peach when my cousin was round and we decided each draw a picture of a character we knew.

I've been going over this for a bit in my head, and I think I can see this going in a couple of directions.

Yen's first character? A mess, she doesn't get the game and struggles to understand most of the rules and norms of tabletop. She ends up playing a very standard Fighter and isn't quite able to roleplay. The longer she plays, the more comfortable she gets, and eventually she hits a tipping point and starts really getting into things.

Her second character, for an actual, proper campaign, I think would have to be a very chirpy halfling Ranger, all sunshine and happiness with her pet, a big shaggy dog (a wolf that is obviously a wolf to everyone but her). Her character isn't the face (Alphinaud, obviously, plays the face), but acts as the tag-in and designated "orphan cheerer-upper." Yen wells up all of her optimism into this character during some really rough times, and in some sessions visually wavers because keeping hope at the table suddenly feels so terribly crushing. She loves this character to death and cries when the campaign ends.

I'm not sure what else she'd play other than she absolutely would make an insufferably edgy Rogue for a one-shot as an incredibly petty putdown aimed in Thancred's general direction.

Oooh boy this was a little difficult to answer... there are so many ways you can have an ideal day! Going to a BTS concert (sadly only a dream), traveling (...also a dream right now), buying all the new books you can...

Okay, so my ideal day would be a day spent somewhere with beautiful architecture and museums in a city steeped in history, bustling with culture and good food. Of course, my travel budget would be unlimited so I’d be able to buy whatever the heck I want, and I’d just be able to... roam around said unnamed city, free and able to do whatever I want. Look at whatever I want, eat in random bakeries, pass by fountains, and at the end of the day I’d go home to a comfy bed. Tl;dr: explore a mysterious, beautiful, random city one fine day.

david: do you think beauty is defined, or a matter of opinion?

Firmly a matter of opinion. I’ve always believed that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and nothing so far has changed that opinion.

I discovered a new drawing technique and it ended up doing wonders for my art :) it was just meant to be a little exercise but I got carried away lol

I recently did a Rottmnt Murder Mystery Pause Game by Axolotl and Pangolin on YouTube but I don’t have an account on YouTube so I’m putting it here :)
