“Poe, baby, you’re back,” you murmur, wanting to both immediately have a makeout session but also stay trapped in this little infinity of time forever. You decide the making out can wait. “How are you feeling?”
“Tired,” is all he offers, pulling you closer to him. You giggle, feeling him smile back against where half of his face was pressed into the back of your neck.
“Do you wanna talk in the morning?” Stupid question. It was morning—a glance at your alarm clock told you 09:04. Leia would let you two have a day off, though—you two would fuck up your sleep schedules, catch up with the lovesick idiots (aka Rey and Finn), raid the kitchen in the ungodly hours of the morning, and then fall asleep watching shitty holomovies.
