We see Sonic picking up the emerald from the ground, battered and bruised up and you see the Death egg robot's foot come down about to crush him.
AND GUESS WHO SWOOPS HIM UP AND SAVES HIM?
TOM IS DRIVING THE TRUCK WHILE MADDIE JUST SAVED HER SON AND SHE'S HOLDING ONTO HIM SO TIGHTLY AS THEY'RE GETTING HIM AWAY FROM DANGER IM HAVING A FIT RIGHT NOW

It may not be a masterpiece, but Knuckles is a fun ride, filled with goofy moments and amazing references from the games and of course, Idris kills it again. Knuckles wasn't what I expected, but I liked it and I'm excited for Sonic 3 of course!

Amy's not showing up... and that's okay.
For the sake of getting a great third installment with cohesive storytelling and engaging plot, I accept the fact that it's highly unlikely that Amy, Rouge, or anyone else beyond Shadow will show up in Sonic Movie 3.
Believe me, I was SHOOK (and a little bitter) at first when they introduced Shadow before Amy. But after watching that trailer, I can see that they know exactly what they're doing. It makes total sense. With the story that they're trying to tell, Amy would stick out like a pink, sore thumb! This is Shadow's story. It's his turn. This movie already has a lot on his plate as it is. To couple that with Amy's introduction and backstory would be a bit overwhelming. It would do her a great disservice by making her a "third wheel" and I don't want that for her. We're lucky that they were able to pull it off with Tails and Knuckles in Sonic Movie 2 lol.
One of the things I admire most about this franchise is the way that tell each character's story and how connected they are! Everyone's lives were greatly impacted all because a blue little hedgehog was sent through a ring portal to Earth. From the Wachowskis to Robotnik to Tails and Knuckles... even Rachel!
If Amy is going to be anywhere within the Sonic Cinematic Universe, I want her pressence to enhace the story and make sense rather than excessive fan service. I want her story to be just as important,
thoughtful,
powerful,
and necessary
as everyone else's.
It's what she deserves. 🩷🦔
WE ARE THREE MONTHS AWAY FROM PEAK CINEMA
Ok something I just realized
you know that one scene in the Sonic movie where Tom hears some noises from the garage and think it’s raccoons, so he grab’s Maddie’s tranquilizer dart
And Maddie’s says it for bears meaning that those darts must have a high dose of whatever the heck is in those
so my question is
HOW THE HECK IS SONIC STILL ALIVE
with his small size and weight that dart would have had way to much for him to handle
Plus it would seems that not much time has passed between the scene where Tom shoots sonic and when sonic wakes up (my guess is 30 to 45 minutes have passed in between scenes)
even after Sonic wakes up he still is under the effects of it
my leading theory is that his powers kinda help him burn through the darts chemicals or something
