❦ GIYUU X PREGNANT!READER
cw: none, this is fluff, fem!reader

"you have a wife?!" sanemi yelled.
"you’re lying." obanai mumbled. "that’s sad."
"tomioka, how sweet!" mitsuri called.
giyuu’s eyes narrowed at rengoku, the bright man just smiled innocently.
"i had no idea they didn’t know," he sheepishly said.
as soon as giyuu got back from his mission, the flame hashira informed him that his wife was in the butterfly mansion. something had happened, and she needed to be taken to shinobu. unfortunately, rengoku wasn’t known for being quite—blasted eardrums will do that to a person—so the other hashira in the perimeter got to hear (for the first time) that not only was giyuu NOT single, he was MARRIED.
they ended up following him through the halls, pestering him with questions until they reached the room you stayed in. your husband ignored them like usual, the only thing on his mind being your well being.
his nerves were calmed, however, immediately upon seeing you laying in bed, a smile on your face as you chatted with shinobu.
"how are you feeling?" giyuu’s tone was soft as he blocked you from the prying eyes of the other hashira in the doorway. he made his way towards your side.
"tired." you smiled at him, letting your husband hold your hand and run his thumb over your fingers. "shinobu said it was a false contraction."
"it was caused by stress," your friend’s calming voice said. "makes sense, tomioka, anyone married to you would be on edge."
your husband just grumbled at his friend as you giggled. he then helped you sit up in bed, the blankets falling off to reveal your pregnant stomach to the small audience watching.
"you had sex?!" sanemi screamed.
oblivious to the small mass of people staring at you, sanemi’s outburst startled you, causing you to grab onto your husband’s haori. he instinctively pulled you close, his soft look switching to a death glare towards the doorway.
"hush!" giyuu seethed at him, finally giving attention to the posse. "she’s nine months pregnant; shut up."
although listening and lowering his voice, sanemi didn’t let his question go unanswered. "you’re not a virgin?"
"go away," giyuu deadpanned. "all of you, go away. now."
"it’s okay, darling," you tried to soothe him. "maybe you should introduce me to your friends."
you felt him tense up at that. he didn’t let go of your hand, and he only moved half a step away from you (half of them still couldn’t see you), and he spoke with a monotone voice. "this is my wife, y/n. she’s pregnant with our first child."
the was no verbal reaction from the onlookers, just looks of disbelief from the four of them. it felt like you were an animal in the zoo with the way they were all staring dumbfounded at you.
it took a couple minutes for shinobu and rengoku to get the others out, leaving you and giyuu alone in the room. as soon as the door closed, your husband grabbed your face and peppered kisses all over it, causing you to giggle. he took a seat on the edge of the bed to be closer to you.
"i’m so sorry," he said, kissing your lips. "i’m sorry i wasn’t here."
"it’s okay, baby." you let your head rest on his shoulder. "i’m just glad i didn’t give birth."
"i would never forgive myself if i was gone for that." giyuu’s hand ran up and down your back comfortingly.
you sigh in relief, turning your head to place a kiss on his neck.
"well now that you’re here, let’s get this baby out of me."
Tomioka Giyuu x GN, Sick/Ill! Reader: I'm Sorry
Just wanted to write an angsty Giyuu x Reader drabble, also if you want you can pick the illness you are suffering from. Also, sorry it’s short😅
Genre: angst
Warnings: GN!reader, death
Summary: Giyuu was on his way to a mission when his crow tells him his s/o is dying at home from their illness
~~~~
Giyuu has never run so fast. How could he be so stupid?! He knew you were in a terrible state when he was assigned this mission, and he knew it would take a while to get there and back. But it's not like he just left you there by yourself, he could never do that, he would never forgive himself if he did. He left you with Shinobu to make sure this didn't happen...so why are you now dying?!
Did Shinobu not take good care of you? Or are you just so far into your illness that it's to late to change anything.
As Giyuu ran, his mind races with all these thoughts, but there was one thing he knows for sure; he doesn't want you to leave him so quickly.
You're the only person who doesn't see him as weird or cold – sure, maybe at first he seemed a bit out of it – but in all truth, you make him happy, you make him smile fore crying out loud! And trust me, that is no easy accomplishment. It's as if it's second nature to you.
He can't lose you! And he won't! No matter what he will try his hardest to help you live and be strong, like he always does.
Ever since he found out about your illness he always checked up on you on a regular basis until you eventually moved in with him where he could always check up on you – unless he's on missions like now.
If he doesn't make it to you in time or you don't survive, he will never forgive himself.
Finally, he can see headquarters insight. You have no idea how relieved he is to see it, but he can't stop here. He needs to keep going till he’s by your side.
He runs into Butterfly mansion and asks Aoi which room you are in, and Aoi points down the hall
“Once you finish the hallway, go left and then take another left. Their in-room number 62, be quick! We don't know how much longer they have”
That is all Giyuu needs. He nods to Aoi as a thank you and dashes of down the hall.
He reaches the end of the hallway and takes a left and then another left.
He scours around the hallway, looking for room number 62.
There!
He rushes over to the door. But just as he's about to turn the handle and open the door Shinobu opens it from the other side.
Shinobu slowly looks up to Giyuu with a sad, solemn look in her eyes. The words Giyuu heard next made him feel like the world stopped spinning for a moment.
“They didn't make it”
Who would have thought that those four words could feel like being stabbed in the chest over fifty times?
He took a deep breath
“Can I at least...see them, one last time. Even if they are de..de...d...”
He couldn't bring himself to say it
“Of course”
Shinobu moved out the way for Giyuu to go inside then closed the door and walked away to leave Giyuu to grieve in peace.
Once Giyuu’s eyes landed on you he felt his eyes start to water. He quickly was by your side, as if it would do anything to wake you up from your now deep eternal sleep.
Giyuu can't hold back his tears anymore when he grabs a hold of your hand. It's still warm. He embraces you and sobs into your chest. How could he let this happen? Why was he so foolish! If only he had heard sooner or never went on the mission in the first place, this would never have happened, or at least had been there when you died. But no. Instead he was just a moment late, a minute– no– a second too late. He only had two words on his mind right now, and he said them out loud as if you were still there, listening.
“I'm sorry”
SYP — when your heart says yes, but your brain says no. you don’t know which to follow, but you do know that the offer wont last long.
GEN. — fluff w a twinge of angst
WARN. — gn!reader, reader is described as pretty, soft men
NOTES. — hi loves!! hope u guys had a good day. sorry for being so inactive. maybe i’ll still write but mainly focus on drabbles.
it’s like you’re dreaming.
the rain thumps on your window softly. in contrast to the relentless downpour outside, your room emits a cozy glow, linen and warm.
looking down on the man sprawled across your lap, you brush his hair away from his face. he looks peaceful like this. carefree and completely relaxed, a sight of vulnerability. he wouldn’t show this side of him to anyone but you.
you’ve been waiting for this day, haven’t you?
your feather-like touch tickles the apple of his cheeks, stirring him awake.
“‘m sorry, did i wake you?” your smile so bright he squints his eyes to focus on you. you look so pretty and he loves this view. the moon’s light shines on your face, the upturned corner of your mouth and the tip of your nose. you look ethereal.
he shakes his head. “no, ‘s okay. i wasn’t even asleep anyway,” he lies through that sweet smile of his. a rush of memories hit him as he traces each crevice of your face.
he remembers how that exact smile of yours drooped slightly in devastation that day. the day he left you. the exact day of the previous year when you both swore that you would be each other’s. you remember the feeling, like a slap to the face.
so why? why was he back? and why were you so willing to take him back?
a comfortable silence takes over and you move your hand to ruffle his hair. your fingertips caress his messy mop with utmost care, as if he was going to break like glass with the slightest pressure. your fingernails scratch his scalp and he instantly relaxes. well, his arms around your waist don’t.
“we can’t keep doing this, y’know?” you sigh, rubbing his back gently. he could feel his heart weigh down and the fuzzy feeling in his chest ceases. he knows what you mean, but he wishes he doesn’t.
“keep doing what?” his voice is still raspy and tired, like it was every single morning when you woke beside him.
“this. all of this.” he hears his heart crack and he thinks you did too. “it’s wrong,” you add, ignoring how your heart thumps.
“then take me back.” you jump slightly, not expecting how immediate his response was. “if you take me back, everything will be the same again. like this all never happened,” he trailed off.
you know its sincere. you know you missed this, him. you miss his smile, his laugh, his voice. he does too. he knows you miss him, and he misses you as well.
you’re silent, and he hates when you are. he wants to hear your voice.
say something, anything.
the thumping in your heart gets so loud, you can hear it in your ears. your mind goes blank, not knowing which to follow, your heart, or your brain?
because your heart screams yes, but your brain yells no.
it’s like you’re dreaming.
“babe.”
you freeze for a moment and gulp before slowly moving your arm to peel back the duvet from your body. you hear shuffles before a hand grips your arm firmly but gently.
“just where do you think you’re going, hm?” he huffs, voice raspy and deep before his arms wrap around your waist and pull you back to his side.
you curse under your breath and give in, deciding that this is the only logical decision compared to the ones you’ve made in the past. you’ve learnt from past mistakes.
you see, your boyfriend would rather let the world burn under his touch than have you slip from his arms before he awakens from his slumber, especially in the morning. (he’s more prone to grouchiness and a bad mood throughout the day without his morning cuddles but he argues that it’s just too early to wake up.)
“i was just getting up to get some water. i was g’na come right back, honest!” you nod your head and muster your best convincing smile as he watches you lie straight through your teeth.
he looks at you, unamused eyes drooping after every second.
“could you lie a little bit better? theres a full glass of water near your nightstand,” he yawns, lying down on your chest and using you as a pillow. you curse softly again and he chuckles quietly, his shoulders shaking.
he nuzzles into you and tightens his grip on you. “you’re not going anywhere, stop trying.”
you sigh. you’re definitely aware with the amount of times you’ve attempted to escape the warm confines of his bed and arms. it’s always resulted in you getting dragged back and plopped on the bed.
still, it’s charming and flattering how willing he is to spend time with you by his side in the mornings, despite it ruining your motivation to be more productive in the early hours of the day.
“15 minutes and we have to get up,” you hum, playing with his hair.
“noo,” he whines. “at least an hour..”
you sputter a little, “an hour? we have to eat something soon.”
he huffs, leaning into your fingers as they gently card through his hair. “just order off of doordash or somethin’,” he trails off, dropping all his weight on you before falling back asleep.
you can feel your eye twitch.
“OH MY GOD, NO!” you scream, leaning back on your chair and almost falling over. you toss your phone on the loveseat nearby and scramble to hug your legs together.
he lets out a few chuckles before full on laughing. “it’s not even scary, why are you screaming?” he puts his phone down, looking at you with a boyish grin.
“no! im not touching that game,” you sulk, still trembling from the (not-so) terrifying jumpscare you were a victim to.
“baby,” he purses his lips together to suppress his laughter. “its a block game! you can’t be seriously scared of it, right?”
you look at him in disbelief and scoff, “beat the game yourself then!”
he shrugs, flashing you a smug smirk. “let’s make a deal. if i don’t flinch throughout every level of this game, you have to pay for the takeout.” (you both know its a lie, this man will die before he lets you use your money to pay.)
you huff, “sure. but if you do, i get to pick the movie.”
“deal, i’m not ‘bouta watch ‘Tinkerbell and the pirate fairy’ again,” he shudders, picking his phone back up and progressing through the level.
“its a good movie!” you argue.
“mhm, sure. but when i win, we’re rewatching gossip g-AH!” he lets out a girlish scream, scrambling off of the couch and dropping his phone without hesitation.
your shoulders shake from the cackle you let out before the uncontrollable giggles follow after.
you wipe tears gathering on your lashline, “wow, real brave, babe.”
he crosses his arms, face turning red as he juts his bottom lip out a little. “whatever, it just caught me offguard!” he tries to justify, looking away from your smiling face.
“it’s okay, baby. its totally normal to scream even louder than your girlfriend when you play a horror game on a block g-”
“SO TINKERBELL RIGHT?” he suggests loudly, trying to change the subject.
you giggle and he groans. (yea, you’re definitely not letting this go.)
𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐁𝐈𝐓𝐄
in which: you take tomioka ice skating as a way of destressing from the tough mission you were sent on. turns out, the water hashira isn't that good at it.
warnings: 1.5k, fluff, descriptions of trauma from demon slaying, reader is a hashira ! gn!reader, bad characterisation ? idk i've only watched the anime + first kny work :3
˗ˏˋ XMAS MASTERLIST ´ˎ˗
The moon was beautiful tonight.
You admire the silver light seeping through the leaves in awe, loving them even more so when watching the way they fall on Tomioka’s half-half haori. A beautiful sight to behold; he is, even during the darkest hour and parts of you still feel a little scarred and vulnerable from the mission you were just sent on.
Tomioka, on the other hand, seems as unscathed as ever and you admire him now more than ever. With the blood of demons still lingering on your sword, and the symbol of your growth as a hashira donned on the uniform you wear, there’s still parts of you that have not hardened from the harshness of this job.
To stand on the front lines between life and death won’t ever get easier, but you’ve been saying that to yourself ever since you first wielded your Nichirin sword.
“Aren’t you cold, Tomioka?” You asked whilst rubbing your hands along your biceps, hoping to create some warmth from the friction.
“No,” comes his curt reply, as ever.
You huff, your breathe condensing into a momentary cloud before fading away.
“Why, are you?” He asks in a uncharacteristically attempt to continue conversation.
“A little, I guess the post-battle adrenaline has washed off.”
The dark-haired remains silent.
“Uh, good job today by the way,” you pipe up again after several beats of silence. “You were amazing, as always.”
Tomioka doesn’t say anything. Even after countless missions together, you still can’t reach him easily. Despite being the hashira that you work with the most, Tomioka is also the one you are still strangers with. The prospect of being sent on a mission with him sometimes makes you more nervous than hearing about where you’re fighting, or who.
As the snow continues to fall, covering up the footsteps you and Tomioka are leaving behind, you think you’re about to leave the forest, and you’re right when you hear a collection of laughter and delighted shrieks. From multiple people- probably a crowd.
Placing a hand on your sword handle just in case, you jump onto a stable tree branch to gain a higher perspective, hoping that it would be tall enough to overlook the hill.
“It’s just an ice skating rink,” you tell the water hashira, relieved and welcoming the sight of many delighted people in one place.
“Then let’s continue back to headquarters,” he responds dryly as you land on the snow beside him with little sound.
“Wait,” you brush off the snow that managed to get on you. “I’m going to patrol this area, there’s a lot of people and susceptible to demon attacks, especially in the place we were sent to protect.”
He narrows his eyes ever so slightly at you. “You want to ice skate.”
Poking out your tongue, you shrug in faux innocence. “I’ll still be on guard,” you defend. “You’re welcome to head back to headquarters before me.”
Tomioka’s expression doesn’t change and with a little hesitation, you turn away from him to head towards the ice skating rink, part of you still hoping he’d relent and join you. It was a lot more lit up than you thought, with many candles in lanterns hung around the area to illuminate the dark for skaters.
As you approach a booth that nursed rows upon rows of ice skates, the attendant offers you a smile in greeting. “What’s your shoe size?”
When you tell her, she then looks behind you.
“And how about you, sir?” She questions and you furrow your eyebrows in confusion before turning around, only to be greeted by the same haori you’ve been staring at the entire night. Tomioka doesn’t falter at your surprise, calmly delivering his answer as the store attendant then goes off to find your requests.
You truly did not think Tomioka would accompany you - you didn’t even hear his footsteps! Nor sense his presence! He truly baffled you sometimes.
“I thought you would return to headquarters to Master and deliver the report,” you murmur. He looks at you with those dead eyes.
“His instructions were that we must travel as a pair. In case there are demons, I’m here for backup.” His bluntness brings an affectionate smile to your face unknowingly, and you turn back to the employee when she comes back with your skates.
Sitting down at a nearby bench, you ignore how cold the planks are on the back of your legs and swiftly put the skates on. It’s when you stand up that you realise a certain Water Hashira is having difficulty putting his on.
“Need some assistance?” You ask. He nods, a little shy in the way he slumps, and part of you melts at the new side of Tomioka.
He’s silent while you do up his shoes, watching the way your hands work nimbly.
“Have you ever gone ice skating, Tomioka?”
“No.”
“Would you like some help?”
“Yes, please.”
You offer him your hand which he takes promptly, and when he stand up on the skates, he wobbles a little before gaining his balance. “Ice skating is a little weird at first, but eventually it’s just like walking, but a lot faster.”
He nods with pursed lips, his cheeks now beginning to turn red from the frost. You try not to focus too much on how Tomioka’s calloused hands feel around yours, and how close he’s standing to you.
“Nothing to be scared of though, I’m here.”
Tentatively, you guide him over to the edge of the ice, going on first before he does. At least there wasn’t a lot of people on this frozen over pond, allowing your acquaintance to take his time with adjusting to the ice.
He steps on and immediately loses his balance, holding onto you for dear life as he silently freaks out about the slippery surface below his skates. You have to hold in your amusement as you stabilise yourself to become a good base of support.
Eventually, he stands up, looking at you with wide eyes.
“Good, good. Now just give yourself a little push from one foot!”
He follows your command, gliding a little too far along the ice that you had to move out of his way so he wouldn’t crash into you. He then looks at you with a little more fear in his eyes.
“You’re doing well! C’mon, just a little more,” you encourage, backing away a little so he has more room to move. “One foot at a time.”
The Water Hashira follows your instructions to a T, and you find yourself talking less and less as his hold on you lessens, eventually you transition to just holding him with one hand, now skating side by side with him.
“You’re a quick learner,” you compliment with a reassuring smile. His shoulders aren’t so stiff anymore, but his hold on you is tight, tight enough that if he’s going down, you’re going down with him too.
And, funnily enough, you do.
It’s almost comical, how he falls backwards and naturally, pulls you into his space as well. You only have a quick second to react, and no matter how good someone’s reflexes are, on ice, it’s not the same. Placing your hand on one side of his body, perfectly on his haori, as the other goes to the opposite side, you just register the awkward position you’ve landed in.
Whilst he’s on his butt, you’re on all fours, set over his legs as his face is dangerously close to yours.
His warm breath is close enough to graze your face whilst he looks at you with shock.
You laugh it off, shaking the ice on your hand as you retreat to your own space. A beat passes and Tomioka too, to your surprise, begins laughing. His laughter is quiet but so warm, almost ironic for the coldness that coated the two of you like a blanket.
As the ice dampens to seep through your shins and his bottom, it’s hard to find it a bother, not when you’re both laughing at his clumsiness.
Any threat of demons in the area are forgotten and for a moment, everything feels fine. There’s no one to avenge, there aren’t any family members to protect, and you’ve been momentarily transported away from the battlefield to laugh with Tomioka Giyuu, an equally traumatised and guarded man with a golden heart.
“Let’s get back up,” you murmur, offering him your hand once more. Slowly, you stand up.
“Your hands are cold,” he whispers.
“So are yours,” you counter, watching as he rises to stand above you.
The hours keep ticking through the night as you and Tomioka make your way around the rink a couple times. People come and go, he gets a little more confident but despite that, he never seems to let go of your hand and you can’t find it in yourself to complain. Tomioka falls over a couple more times, sometimes you catch yourself before you can go down with him.
But when you do find yourself on the ice, eye-to-eye with him, you can’t help but laugh again.
And he can’t help but join. Even though it’s so cold, the Water Hashira warms at how pretty you are when you’re smiling.
The Hashiras in a Relationship | Giyuu Tomioka
Word Count: 823
Setting: Giyuu Tomioka x gn!reader
Content Warnings: none 🌊
Summary: headcanons for Giyuu Tomioka as a relationship partner, what it would entail from dating to commitment.
[image is not mine]
To be loved by the Water Hashira, is to know reliability and stability. His affections are as dependable as the seasonal shift. Just as the way that spring will one day bloom into summer, the sakura blossoms will break the veil of winter, and the night will yield to the day, such is to be loved by Giyuu.
To be loved by Tomioka is accepting that to enter into a relationship, you will need to have patience. Just as a child eager for summer break, and to throw a way homework, you’re eager, and excited—I cannot blame you. Look at him, but apart of the attraction to him is that… well, he’s reserved and aloof. Not just when it comes to his duties, it’s who he is, and it will bleed over to your relationship.
It's apart of the reason youre attracted to him, right? The distant blue gaze, one that is capable of peering into the depths of your soul, and claims your thoughts. The way he frets over the littlest of things, all while completely unaware how he has captivated you. So cute.
It’s nothing personal, and it’s not that he’s necessarily trying to keep you at arm’s length although he did initially, Giyuu is the type to believe that the biggest contribution to a relationship is stability time. He would want things to develop naturally, and gradually. A slow burn love is the key to his heart, so for obvious reasons, if you’re in for a difficult time if you’re pining for a fast paced, whirlwind romance, please consider one of the other Hashiras.
A fast paced relationship would make him feel exposed, nervous, and anxious, is he doing this right? Are you onboard? Is he pressuring you.
No, slow burn is best. His heart can't cope.
The positive is that, while he may drag this out in a way that is sweet, agonizing, he is it in for the long haul, so for him, why would he want to rush it? You’re worth it.
He is the type to draw attraction to a childhood friend.
To have been attached to the sweet smile that met him in his youth, early memories of running through the field, playing kagura kagura together, sharing dango together, the early foundation that would grow natural. Mature over time, what was sweet innocent childhood laughter evolved to gentle laughter, the realization you had grown, the change in your voice and body evident. The hand that would once casually grasp his head and guide him forward in childhood delight, replaced one that is a little shy, hesitant, aware of implications of touching him so casually. Walks, or small errands pushed by parents, the sakura petals in your hair, summoning the bravery to tenderly graze your mane, touch your cheek.
The type to fall for a coworker over time, his junior that he had assisted, taught the tricks of the trade. Assisted through their early times in the corps company if modern AU, distracted Shinazugawa and Iguro to ensure you would dodge a scolding. Leave a tea can coffee for you to discover after long hours. Dinners that took up time, offered opportunities to grow attached to one another, to know each other better, and before he knows it, —that’s the sort of love he craves. A slow one that grows naturally, without force or resistant over the years
That is as natural as th way your fingers fit between his own.
Alongside his pragmatic nature, Giyuu struggles with others, and this will be something that you will struggle with, especially in the beginning stages of attraction.
He hates being a burden. When met with Shinobu’s teasing that no one likes him, he really began to worry that he was forcing his company on others—he hadn’t realized he had made so many people uncomfortable.
This Is a source of frustration and general concern. His over consideration for others will have him skipping out early if he feels his presence is burdensome, avoiding conversations if he believes that he’s forcing his time on others, I imagine he would go so far to actually skip meals if he felt that his presence could give his peers stomach troubles.
In reality, while it’s sweet and adorable to witness his internal struggle, it can also result in him missing a lot of cues.
Did you ask him on a date? No—no, everyone is going. It’s work related—oh no, it’s work related. Shinazugawa will be there. That’s okay, they can get along—ah no wait, the last time the Wind Hashira saw him, he challenged him to a death match. Why was that? His face? Right, right, his face—what if he does it tonight? What if his face bothers everyone? Will they be able to enjoy their meal?
Stomach troubles, his face will bring them stomach troubles
Dear [LN], forgive me. I’m afraid that I cannot make it tonight. my face is a curse I promised Urokodaki-sensei I would visit him.
So many missed opportunities ahead, victim to Tomioka’s internal monologue.
It’s been touched on, but really needs to be expressed, Giyuu really does struggle with being judged by others, and I think this alongside his fear of growing connected after such devastating loss, he worries about being judged, or unwelcomed. So, it’s easier to just provide distance rather than admit that he would love the opportunity to be included.
To soak in the warmth of his company, to listen to their discussions, content to just smile into his cup of tea. In fact, this is likely how your relationship took root. When you requested he join you for an afternoon tea, giggling over dango. Sharing anything and everything taht came to mind.
His heart, he could live in that moment forever.
B-but with the invitation was obligatory? What if they’re uncomfortable? Time to leave.
He needs reassurance that you want him there as much as he wants to be there (at least for the first part of your relationship). In the time to come, joining you will come as naturally as the flow of a stream.
Without resistance, or thought. Content to drift along, soothed to the summer days in the gentle breeze, a float in your company.
If you haven’t figured it out, his communication skills may be another obstacle you’ll have to overcome. Together.
To his credit, it’s not that Giyuu has an aversion to conversation itself, or intends for his additions to the discussion to come across as rude or cold. It’s really not his intent; the reality is that Giyuu welcomes you to carry the conversation.
It’s not that he’s lazy, or pushing the responsibility of carrying the discussion, it’s that he loves listening. To get to know you. To hear about your day. To learn about likes and dislikes, to hear the sway of your voice. To learn the early detection of exhaustion, of annoyance, of joy, of any emotions you would share with him. For him, it’s an opportunity to know you.
When you offer a break, an expectation for his response, he will respond with the most thoughtful, sincere addition. It will blind side you with how considerate he is, and validate that he was truly absorbing everything you shared, and considering it over.
I feel that as the realtionship matures (think the later stages going into marriage/or committed relationship), Giyuu would love discussions, and sharing disagreeing points, as long as things were to remain respectful between the two of you.
Big discussions, such as kids, for or against, discuss it with him. He’s willing to consider your position. You’re his partner after all. Big decisions should be discussions rather than arguments.
That being said, Giyuu can be stubborn as he can be giving.
While he is more than willing to consider changing his viewpoints on things that retain to the relationship, and you--- you are his PARTNER, not an object, but things that pertain directly towards himself, exclusively. He will not relent easily.
These things would be fairly run of the mill, every day things that can easily lead to a dispute or two, small petty things such as the socks by the hamper. He does not understand why you cannot just put them in the bin.
Drop in guests that intend to spend a while, it’s not that he hates your family/friends staying a while, it’s just--- why didn’t they say anything? It’s enough to give him a stomach ulcer...
To his credit, the swordsman is private by nature, and has a tendency to be reclusive aside from his social struggles.
The reality is that, as I’ve mentioned, he wants time. Time to get used to you, time to use to sharing his inner personal world, to well, everything. It’s not that he necessarily intends to keep things under lock and key, it’s just who he is.
Out of all of the slayers, Shinobu is the only one to have ever witness his love for daikon and salmon—despite years of service, he’s just that private. Please give him time.
If you are prepared to face all of this proceeding forward, with the utmost consideration and patience, you’re prepared to handle dating. Again, remember, in Giyuu’s world. It’s an endurance run, not a sprint to matrimony.
His dating will be nice, and slow, and probably more traditional than you may like. Amongst the Hashiras, he is one of the few that will drag this stage of a relationship out (I can see Obanai taking as much time, if not more). Expect it to last anywhere from two to five years, in a modern setting.
In the Taisho period, the dating period was essentially, meeting up with a matchmaker if you were lucky. I imagine that this would potentially be entertaining for Tomioka you.
Let’s be honest, the traditional route of relationships in this time period were an agreement, that followed a quick betrothal. In which case, I imagine that… he’ll stick to tradition, but it will be an awkward dance until the proper bond has begun to form.
Just because you’re married doesn’t mean that the Water Hashira will spill everything to you.
This would look like late nights, anxious and unsure of how to approach the pushed together futons. The blush of his face as he awkwardly, contemplates whether he should pull his to the far side of the room and elicit a screen, or if he should simply risk a cold with a night on the veranda.
he's sleeping on the veranda until you reassure him that, it's okay for him to share the room.
he's still scooting his bedding over; you refused to allow the screen.
How else will you grow to enjoy each other's company?
The first night he tossed and made accidental eyecontact, flustered him near to his death. He swears he saw the shinigami that night.
He did not sleep, spent hours staring at the wall. Dared not to roll over again, his eyes squeezed tight. THe blush evident on his face enough to draw his bedding to his brow. Listening only to the distant sounds of your slumber over soft huffs of breath. The realization enough to draw the blush down his back, and ponder if this was a bad idea.
No, no disappearing in the middle of the night would probably hurt your feelings. There he laid. Wondering if it was the gods smiling upon him, or teh devils taunting him.
All things considered, dates with Giyuu would prefer to be one-on-one affairs. He would have a strong preference for dinner/movie dates, picnics, walks, even more athletic thing such as hiking, bowling, just please… don’t surprise him with a double date.
It’s not that he reject you out right, he wants an activity that you both can enjoy, and if spending time in a group setting is something you enjoy, well, give him time to adjust and marinade on the idea before just pushing him into the social pool.
He’ll do it. For you. But he needs a moment.
While the beginning stage of your relationship, such as dating and getting to know one another may be… taxing, do not believe for one moment that is his attempt at dodging commitment.
In fact, I believe it’s the opposite. Giyuu is one of the most susceptible to a long-term bond. He is dependable, and stable, and while it may not be the most “exciting” in terms of romance, but in its own way, its sweet.
It’s faith, it’s comfort, it’s safety, it’s sharing burdens, overcoming obstacles together as a unit, in sickness, in health, to honor and to cherish. He is committed to you, to your relationship, to forever.
In disagreements, Giyuu’s stubbornness can and will rear its head. Again, he needs time to consider everything over. He’s not avoiding the conflict well maybe a little, the Water Hashira needs time to consider every aspect, every side, and any potential danger to you, to the relationship, and to himself.
Sadly, this could result in a few conflicts that he will not fold. Hold on to that give and take, he’s not confrontational by nature. He prefers peace, desires a happy home, happy spouse and happy house.
Really, he is very willing to go to extremes to avoid conflict between the two of you, so if he has opted to stand his ground—there’s something you may have missed.
Tomioka is independent by nature, and as you can imagine, he doesn’t find it easy to lean on others, or depend on them. At times, this may be a challenge for him to overcome.
He knows that commitment means carrying one another’s burdens, and while he is quick to take the load off of your shoulders, he is less so when it comes to his own troubles.
He’ll get there, but those first few years are-- *sigh*.
To be clear, independence isn’t a bad thing, he may need time for himself. Every healthy relationship needs moments such as these, and he is more than willing to give you your space, but he expects the same respect from you.
If you attempt to rob him of his independence, or reveal a lack of trust, like blowing up his phone when he has gone out for a walk, a late business dinner, or a late trip to the store, he’s likely to stand his ground, and very well can result in a break down in the relationship.
Of all people, knowing that he has not earned your trust over these years is, hurtful.
To be clear, he’s not just going to walk out in the middle of the night, he will let you know he’s going out for air, will message you letting you know work has run late, again, he’s a considerate partner. he's not one to run out in the middle of an argument either, but he will request a moment to himself. to gather himself.
Just as he needs his independence, he respects that at times, you will too, and you may think. Jealousy? Is a romantic fight in order, one that has met with suspecting jealousy whether it’s a coworker that has captured your attention, work that has taken long nights—it’s not likely.
He’s human, and there may be small moments of envy like an elderly couple. I imagine, he would be like an old grandpa who feels comfortable and steady in your love, but upon being met with your first love, he may bie jittery and quick to prove your bond.
But truthfully, it’s just not that likely. To Giyuu, your long-term relationship is proof enough that he can and will trust you. I know, I know... jealousy in a relationship has its perks, but in the long term, you’ll be grateful for this dynamic.
Don’t get me wrong. The Water Hashira is PROTECTIVE. If you have made it this far, you are his. He will do anything to protect you, to avoid any harm.
From something as simple as a flue that is circulating the area, he will be sure to disinfect everything he can think of, to finding out that a coworker has spoken ill of you, he will do his best to shield you emotionally.
He will without hesitation, take an attack intended for you. Even if it means, he cannot properly parry it. Giyuu will do everything he can to keep you from harms way.
In a way, that’s his sentiment. You’re not likely to regularly receive words of affirmation (unless you have laid out that its necessary for you, in which case, he will oblige), Giyuu struggles with emotions.
Whether positive and joyful ones, or arguments and frustrations, putting his feelings into words is… a struggle. One that he will face as it comes and with reservation and hesitation, but he will. Time. That word you’re growing to hate.
It’s not that he doesn’t have sentiment, or attachment, it’s just that to him, love is not expressed verbally. It’s a lifelong commitment, one that is proven rather than lamented.
Watering plants. Paying bills. Bringing home, a stable income, attending your events whether family, business, or friends.
Picking up dinner when you’ve had a long day, or loading the dishwasher/washing the dishes.
Waking up with you in the morning, rubbing your back when you’re ill. Making soup when winter hits.
Giyuu expresses love through service, fufilling his commitment. He will gladly take over any small tasks/projects/favors for you. He’s not one to miss an anniversary, and will have the gift in tow. He’s reliable, and while this is the way that he expresses his love, he will become flustered if you show your appreciation.
You’ll see his smile from outer space if you express your gratitude for his attentiveness, and it will stick with him for a long time. Don’t get me wrong, all his actions are selfless devotion, but to know that you noticed that he saved you the last dumpling, he’s internally swooning.
Pray for him, Shinobu will target him afterwards.
To be clear, while Giyuu is one to rely on acts of service to express his affections, if you make it clear that you are recptive to other another love language, he will do his utmost best to satisfy those needs, but gods help him… quality time will come naturally to him. He values one-on-one time.
Gifting will be a little time consuming. He will spend hours fretting over whether he has made the right selection. The first round of gifts would be something... probably a little abstract. He tends to take things literally, so if you shared that yuo loved ducks, he will likely bring home a duckie charm.
He's trying.
Words of Affirmation may be stiff, and seemingly unauthentic. He means them, every word, but it may seem like a hostage negotiation the first few attempts. Physical Acts. Take a deep breath, and take your time.
He’s going to try. He is. The first few may just be extremely awkwardly, painful head pats.
You’re not a child, but… it does feel nice to feel his fingers thread through your hair. Slowly, over time, he’ll catch your hand while walking. In intimate moments, he will be receptive to your needs more willingly.
Offer his lap for your head to rest, rub your back, and thread his fingers through your hair. Delicately trace the freckles/moles that line your features. All loving careful it could go deeper, but that’s for another day.
In public, well as time goes on, he will hold your hand, maybe whisper in your ear, but anything else may be uncomfortable.
You’re sure to fluster and panic him over manners and appropriate behavior if you were to kiss his cheek why is his blush so cute.
Nope, please behave in the public eye, he’s a traditional, modest man, but when you get home, revenge he’ll make sure you’re reassured of his affections.
The cute note of his traditional nature, and observant personality is that Giyuu will notice any change in your mannerisms and behaviors.
He will be able to detect when you’re falling ill, when you’re overworked, or upset.
While he may be willing to let a few moments go, he’s respectful of your privacy and wants to allow you time to approach him if that’s what you need, he will also respond accordingly.
Skipping over something greasy because your tummy is uneasy, he’ll prepare extra miso soup for breakfast. Missing a friend? He’ll notice your eyeing a memento, and he’ll be sure to reach out to them and request a visit.
But in the same regard, he wants the same thing in return.
He wants his partner to know him. To notice the smallest deviation in his behavior, and return in favor. Tomioka will not expect it in the first few years, but like an elderly couple in years to come, he savors the day you know what that little dimple between his eyebrow signals.
For him, he’s ridiculously responsible and sensible. He will often stick far too favorably to this.
For more spontaneous partners, it could be a source of frustration. Understand that it’s because he wants to ensure that you will always come home to a warm home, soft sheets, a roof of your head, food to fill your belly, and all the love in the world.
That being said, he really isn’t high maintenance. He doesn’t want for much, has an obvious preference for simpler things, he may struggle to understand a partner that craves more lavish things. He’ll do his best to indulge you, but he does value security.
On the positive side, he is the type of partner to accompany you to family events, business venues, doctors appointments, and ensure that every bill is paid, and there is extra in the bank for you to spend however you may like expert budgeter.
The reality is, to be in love with Giyuu is to know love, to know security. To know what it is to wake up to a warm embrace every morning. To know comfort in sickness, and support in health. Realiability through the years, and devotion as the grays claim your features, and the wrinkles of time etch into your face. To be known as you are, in all aspects, and accepted as you are.
Giyuu will never give up on you.
Until death do you part.
Himejima Gyomei x Reader, Rengoku Kyojuro x Reader, Shinazugawa Sanemi x Reader, Tomioka Giyuu x Reader
Word Count: ~1,400
CW: alcohol, explicit language
Suggestion Fulfilled: how do you think the hashira will react when you're clearly drunk and they want to help you, but you push the away, clearly not recognizing them, and then you say something along the lines of, " No I have a S/o, don't touch me”
~faqs~
“Don’t touch me! You! Gigantic! Oaf!”
*big sigh* 🥲
Smiling gently to himself, Gyomei takes another slow step forward
Thank goodness we’re home he thinks to himself, well aware of how this current situation would appear to unknowing onlookers 🙃
“I’ll bite you!” 😤
Newsflash: slapping at his outstretched hands is doing next to nothing 🥴
The man is a wall 🧱
“Please,” he tries again, “Let me help you.”
You huff, eyes rolling, “I don’t need help.”
“Your shoes are still on, as is your coat, and you’re heading in the opposite direction of the bedroom.” 🤨
Somehow, the calmness of his voice riles you even further 😒
“How do you know?” you scoff, “Maybe I’m taking the long way around.” 🙄
“Love, I live here,” he can’t help the fond exasperation creeping into his tone, “I live here with you.”
“No,” you snort, “You wish you lived here with me, but that honor belongs to my amaaazing boyfriend.” 😌
“And where might he be?” Gyomei asks politely
“He-” your eyes narrow, confusion clouding your vision as you frown slightly, “I’m not sure.” 😖
“Well how about you call him?”
Glaring at the looming (actually, Gyomei is standing quite casually and relaxed) man in front of you, you tug your phone out of your pocket
“Hey Siri, call The Love of my Life.”
Interesting Gyomei’s heart flutters —> you’ve never actually showed him his contact info
—Fortunately for you, he’s too much of a sweetheart to ever hold this secret against you
—What happens when you’re drunk, stays with when you were drunk 😉
“NO WAY!” you exclaim as his phone begins ringing, “YOU’RE HIM?!” 😳🤯😭
“Yes, love,” Gyomei chuckles tiredly, “I’m him.”
“I’m sooooo sorry,” you whimper, suddenly falling willingly and clingy into his arms, whining now as you pout up at him, “I’m going to have the worst hangover eeeverrr,” gasping dramatically, “Gyyyomeeeei!!!!!”
“As flattered as I am by your interest, I have a boyfriend,” you say, politely brushing off the warm hands of the stranger attempting to help you as you sit haunched on a bench 😮💨
Aforementioned stranger’s brow furrows, mouth pursing before stretching into a bright grin, laughter ringing through your ears 🤗
The hell is this guy on? 🧐
“I promise your boyfriend would be okay with me helping you,” Kyojuro chuckles, arms crossed as he watches you carefully
“Oh yeah?” you mutter, hiding your confusion beneath a cool tone, “What’s his name then?”
“Rengoku Kyojuro!” he immediately answers, still grinning, “Not many people look like him…” ❤️🔥
Your face crinkles as you take in the man’s appearance once more, eventually shaking your head as you huff
“Nice try,” you smirk, “But if I was really drunk, then my Kyojuro wouldn’t think twice about getting me home, no matter how difficult I was being.” 😌
*cue a particularly fond memory of Kyojuro carrying you all the way home from the bar when you refused to get in a cab but didn’t want to walk and definitely wasn’t sober enough to sit on the handlebars of a bicycle* 😝
Kyojuro blames the blossoming warmth in his stomach at your my Kyojuro for his next actions
Aka scooping you into his arms and hoping his cologne does the trick 😅
(it usually does — he assumes his sweatshirts go missing for this exact reason 🫢)
“PUT ME DOW- 🤬 BAAABYYY! 😍” you squeal as soon as his sweaty, familiar scent hits your nose, “You do love meee!!!!!”
“I absolutely do,” he murmurs adoringly, unfazed by your sudden switch in demeanor, “After all, your Kyojuro always gets you home, right?” 🥺
“Right!” you beam up at him, your hostility all but dissipated as you nuzzle into the crook of his shoulder, “M’gonna sleep now, ‘kay?” 🥱
Kyojuro thinks about how long the walk home is, flexes his forearms, and smiles 🥰
“Of course. Sweet dreams, my heart.” 😴
Send help pls and ty 🙃
This man is at his wit’s end
On one hand, you’re refusing to Uber home with him 😕
On the other hand, he can’t just leave you at the bar 😒
And the last thing he wants is to order two separate rides home, and then have to patiently explain that he isn’t stalking you, nor is he breaking in, because
“For fuck’s sake, I’m literally your boyfriend!” 😐
“My boyfriend would never speak to me like that!” you retort, eyes narrowed 😠
Actually Sanemi thinks wryly to himself Your boyfriend doesn’t know how to speak in any other way
“Because your boyfriend’s so damn perfect?” he growls, “Doesn’t ever cuss or lose his patience?”
“Well,” you begin pertly, “He is perfect! He brings me breakfast in bed, holds open doors for me, mends the holes in my socks, washes my back when we shower together…” ☺️
Sanemi is very pink rn 😃
He’s torn between wanting to kiss you square on the mouth and never doing a nice thing for you ever again 🫠
“... but he,” you trail off, tears abruptly brimming as you come to a startling realization, “But he’s so ruuude,” wailing as Sanemi simply watches you unfold, “He teases me whenever I stub my toe on something, pushes me off the bed when we wrestle, and, and, and-”
“And what?” he asks dryly
You gulp, refusing to meet the gaze of the handsome, persistent man still standing in front of you — despite your resolute rejections of him, “I think you might actually be my boyfriend.” 😭
He actually laughs, arms opening as you barrel into him, sobbing into his embrace, thin olive shirt sticking to his skin as you squeeze his sides
“Sanemi,” you whisper, embarrassment coating your voice
“Mmm, darling?” his own rich with amusement
“I want to go home,” you mumble 😔
“You sure?” he smirks fondly, “Even with me?”
Groaning loudly, you press your face harder into his chest, eyes closing as you focus on the steady warmth of his heartbeat 💓
Dismay might as well be Giyuu’s middle name
Because he has no idea how he’s going to get you home 😓
Shinobu abandoned you guys earlier, flitting from one bar to the next
And for the sake of his dwindling dignity and pride, Giyuu is not about to interrupt Tengen and his wives at their table to ask for ~assistance 😬
Kyojuro would be an option, if he wasn’t the lightest weight of all, and already home in bed (he left over an hour ago) 🙃
Shit
“Hey,” he waves at you, heart in his throat
“Hey yourself,” you glance up at him, frowning, “I told you like five minutes ago, I. Have. A. Boyfriend.” 😒
The urge to curl up into a ball and cry has never been stronger 😃
For Giyuu, that is 😭
“I know, I know,” he holds his hands up in a careful surrender, awkwardness in his movements as he ponders his next words, “I just… I think you should go home.”
“As in, go home with you?” 🤨
“Uh…” yes 😞
“Look, you’re super attractive and all, but you’re not my boyfriend.” 🙄
Giyuu is hitting his forehead against a brick wall 😵
Repeatedly 😵
Internally, ofc 💀
“What if I was?” he winces as his voice cracks at the end 🥲
Damn it 🫠
“Well that would mean breaking up with my boyfriend…”
He’s staring at you equally exasperated and in love 😖🥰
All you process, unfortunately, is deadpan 😐
“Speaking of which, where is he?” you mutter 😕
I! AM! RIGHT! HERE! 🫨
Giyuu is still hitting his forehead against a brick wall
+screaming every time he makes contact
Internally, ofc
“Can I at least give you my number?” 🥺
“How about this,” you snap, “You find my boyfriend for me, and ask him if that’s okay.”
Regret isn’t an option as Giyuu immediately spins in a circle, striking a Tada! Pose when he faces you again 😎
🧐🧐🧐 <— you rn
“It’s me, your boyfriend. Tomioka Giyuu.” 🥳
You blink
He holds his breath
“Y’know what,” you finally say, “I believe you.”
Giyuu doesn’t bother digging for details
He grabs your hand (and exhales when you promptly intertwine your fingers with his, hugging his forearm to your chest 💞), and heads toward the exit
—
“Why did that convince you?” he asks the next morning, breath soft on your skin as he sprinkles soothing kisses across your forehead
You smile slyly—despite your pulsating headache—all four limbs squeezing tighter around his body to keep him in place as you murmur quietly, “Because only my boyfriend could make me cringe that hard.” 😌
“Heyyyyy,” he whines, pouting as he squirms in your embrace, exchanging his kisses for gentle bites as you shriek playfully, “That’s not very nice.” ☹️
fluff, slight angst | giyu tomioka, obanai iguro, sanemi shinaguzawa x reader, mentions of guilt, crying, mentions of death | word count. 1.1k ◦ notes. watching the new season is making me feel nostalgic about the start of the anime :(
GIYU TOMIOKA.
Giyu shows his passion for you by spending most of what would be his alone time with you. He doesn’t always talk much during the times he’s around you, but he isn’t opposed to you talking. Giyu doesn’t mind where he is, as long as he’s with you and knows you’re safe - despite his underlying feeling of perhaps being incapable of protecting you completely. Thus, he sometimes feels guilty for wanting to spend time with you, but he compensates for that by allowing you to guide him - choosing where to hang out, leading most conversations.
That doesn’t mean he doesn’t like his alone time. You out of all people know best how much he indulges in silent reflection and meditation, but you’ve also noticed that he’d consult you for those things. He’d start using some of his silent reflection time to ask you questions riddled with guilt. He finds that you’re much like Tanjiro in your overwhelming ability to comfort people.
“You know,” you start as you’re walking alongside him, making your way to the noodle house, “I’m really thinking we need to change our plans. The owners know our orders at this point,” you grin, stretching your arms out.
“Supporting a small business doesn’t sound like a bad thing,” he retorts, plopping his hand on your head and ruffling your hair slightly. “Besides, that makes ordering our food quicker, does it not?”
You roll your eyes but are forced to agree.
Following that brief conversation, the two of you spend the next half an hour eating to your hearts’ desires. Giyu will pause every few minutes to remove the food items from your plate that you don’t like and add them to his with a small smile, both at your sweet voice thanking him and the sight of more food on his plate.
You’ll always require a sweet treat after your meal, whether that be a drink or more food, so you either head into town to survey the sweet stands or drop by Mitsuri to see if she has any stored - she typically does and you’re forever grateful for that.
All the while, Giyu will let you ask him question upon question, start conversation after conversation, all without complaints just to lengthen the time he gets to spend with his beloved.
OBANAI IGURO.
Obanai expresses his love through promises. They’re never empty ones and he makes sure you know that, sometimes even goes as far as gently pulling your ear to discipline your ignorance towards such. Sometimes the promises are of small value, such as promising to not eat your food or not start training without you. Other times, they mean the entire world, where he’ll promise that he’ll return from a dangerous mission or that he’ll not get injured because he couldn’t ever be so weak as to let a demon injure him fatally.
Every time he promises you something, the eye contact with him is almost intimidating. Obanai feels as though averting his gaze from you connotes distrust and uncertainty, so he always ensures to gaze into your apprehensive eyes when he speaks his truth. In moments of vulnerability, when you’re crying late at night because you’re certain tonight awaits his death, he’ll emerge from the Master’s room determined to fulfil his assignment and not evoke worry.
When he sees you in such a state, sniffling and averting your gaze, he’s convinced that you’re stuck in a cycle of paranoia and fear.
“Are you really so sceptical of my return? Don’t be so foolish,” he says, narrowing his eyes at your despondent state. “I promise I’ll return to you.”
You hear Kaburamaru hiss before feeling him graze your cheek with his face. You whimper and allow him to do so, only until you motion for Obanai to sit beside you. He does so without question and cranes his neck to look into your eyes, to which you turn away from.
“Have I ever broken a promise made to you?”
You swallow thickly. “No.”
He huffs. “So what is your concern?”
You shrug but, in reality, know what is bothering you. Instead of telling him, however, you lift your head to look at him and pout in an attempt to satiate your tears. “I’m going to kill you if you don’t come back, Iguro. I swear.”
You can’t see his mouth, but you know he’s smiling as he nods and presses a quick kiss to your temple. “I wouldn’t expect anything less.”
SANEMI SHINAZUGAWA.
Sanemi shows his love for you through acts of service. Initially, you hadn’t noticed it, but you start questioning him when your katana appears sharper and cleaner, your uniform neatly pressed, and your food managed to suit your tastes.
“Have you only just noticed? I’m almost insulted,” he scoffs, gently smacking the back of your head only for you to groan and swat his hand away. “The swordsmiths are practically sick of me,” he grumbles, watching you admire the shine on your katana.
You grin and elbow his side, making him wince and shove you. “You’re so in love with me.”
“I don’t know where you got that idea from,” he teases, flashing you his canines as the two of you lean closer to each other, faces inches apart as your childish squabbling continues. Sanemi snickers as you attempt to maintain your scowl but inevitably fail at the close proximity, turning into loud laughter when you slump over and rest your head on his chest.
As a Hashira, the Kakushi already know you, but recently have appeared in near fear of your presence (despite being aware of your empathetic personality). At one point, you explicitly ask why the change in treatment, to which they respond: “Shinazugawa-san isn’t forgiving if your uniform is anything but perfect.”
“Perfect?”
“As in washed, pressed and perfumed.”
You pause, shock evident in your expression. “Uh,” you almost break into laughter, “you don’t have to do that, really. I’ll… have a talk with him, make sure he’s not bullying you.”
The Kakushi give you a pointed look, to which you nod and purse your lips. You mumble, “well, he’s getting slapped.”
Sanemi always ensures that the menu provided to the cooks that cater to you suits your tastes. However, you’re highly concerned with the fact that Sanemi thinks anything is obtainable through an arbitrary expression of power, but you have the advantage of being able to discipline him for thinking such without consequence.
“The Kakushi help us, not serve us!”
“That’s a very liberal way of looking at it– ow!”Sanemi groans at the punches you land to his chest, making him double over and eventually lay down on the grass with no attempt of fighting back. “Okay, okay, I’ll be nicer.”
NAVI | KNY MASTERLIST
SANEMI SHINAZUGAWA realized he wanted to marry you one day when he came home late at night to find you asleep at the dining table, apparently waiting for him. after the loss of most of his family, the shinazugawa brothers had moved into your home after you offered. you lost your mother to an illness not too long after, making it only you three who inhabited the tiny home.
you always cared for sanemi, and sanemi had always cared for you. so when you learned of his nightly activities, it worried you. sometimes he’d come home with torn clothes, and other days sanemi returned with fresh wounds. if you hadn’t fallen asleep by then, you’d dress his wounds tenderly. it wasn’t any better after joining the demon slayer corps.
the thought of him putting himself in danger like that gnawed at your stomach the first few weeks. but then time passed, and you no longer feared as much. there was always a possibility of losing sanemi, but he proved himself to be strong, both physically and in drive. though, you always prayed for his safety.
your upper body leaned on the low table, chest rising and falling as sanemi approached. the meal you set for him had grown cold a long time ago, but he’ll eat it regardless. first, the boy was going to carry you to your futon. though, the sight of a sleeping genya, whose head rested on your thigh, made him pause.
in his sleep, the young boy clung to your figure. and it was no wonder you only supported your head on the table with one arm, the other one rested on genya’s back. it must’ve been uncomfortable for you, yet you remained in that position for hours, awake or not.
the first one sanemi carried to their respective futon was genya. he was much heavier than before, the older boy thought. he was glad that genya was growing properly, especially with how much you fed him. the black-haired boy loved your cooking so much he almost always ate nearly half of it.
sanemi eventually carried your slouched form to your futon. he set you down gently before placing your blanket over the lower half of your body. you got warm easily, so sanemi knew it would be best to not cover you completely.
the moonlight shone on your sleeping figure as sanemi brushed your stray hairs away from your face. his eyes traveled from you to the cold plate on the table. always so caring, you were. his gaze then landed on genya, who you always treated as your own brother.
sanemi, despite the many things he has yet to comprehend, was sure of one thing— his love for you. the two of you were still teenagers, but he was sure of his feelings. as his fingers traveled from your forehead to your cheek, cupping your face lightly, there was only a single thought that occupied his mind.
one day, in a world free of demons, he’d take your hand and ask you to be his.
it was when you were crying in his arms that GIYUU TOMIOKA knew that he wanted your hand in marriage. although he was skilled, he was rendered unconscious during a mission after slaying two demons with tricky demon blood arts. although he was only unconscious from night till the next afternoon, you couldn’t help but worry.
you were no demon slayer, so the thought of your partner being bedridden had scared you. you rushed to his bedside when giyuu’s crow informed you of his state. and as you sat by his sleeping form, the little butterfly estate girls told you that although he was littered with cuts, none of them were deep.
part of you always believed that giyuu was invincible. even though you knew he was the highest rank in the demon slayer corps, he never came home with worrying injuries. a few small cuts here and there were all treated by you before the two of you fell into bed.
seeing giyuu’s bare torso covered in white patches reminded you that giyuu was not invincible, and even someone skilled like him was vulnerable to injury.
compared to the corps members that already died before giyuu was assigned the mission, he was barely harmed. but since you didn’t see it that way, he saw the tears that brimmed your eyes after he woke up. your hug was gentle as if you’d hurt him if you squeezed him tight.
giyuu snaked his arms around your waist as you cried and told him how you worried for him. your words, even your tears alone spoke volumes about how much you cared for him. the black-haired man held you tighter, knowing that he cared for you just as much, and one day hoped to show you by proposing with a ring fit only for you.
you and OBANAI IGURO were lying bare in bed the moment he realized he wanted to marry you. it was late at night and the two of you had your limbs tangled together underneath a thick blanket, skin-to-skin for half an hour in near darkness. the muted moonlight that shone through the shoji door was only enough to outline the other’s figure.
obanai’s skin burned beneath your smooth fingers, the gentle touch scorching his very being. you always had that effect on him, especially when he was most vulnerable to you, when he was bare.
your fingers brushed the skin of his cheeks, lightly touching the part of his face that he always kept bandaged up. your fingers ran over the bumpy skin once more before you cupped his cheeks, pressing your forehead to his.
there were a few nights you’d spend like this. though, it was always so dark. you wanted to see your lover in full, but knowing how he felt about it, you never forced him to. after all, it had taken you some time to get used to the reminder of your own past; the large scar that ran from your chest to your belly button.
you laid your head back onto your pillow before you asked him if it was okay to light up a candle although you expected him to politely decline. instead, he hesitated before saying you could. after you asked once more to be sure, the black-haired man decided to light the candle for you.
his face, illuminated by the candlelight, turned towards you. obanai watched as you crawled towards him and sat on his lap, wrapping your arms around his neck. you told him that his beauty never failed to make you awe as he snaked his hands onto your hips.
you smiled at him lovingly before you laid your head in the crook of his neck, finding comfort in your position. he tucked back a piece of your hair before resting his cheek atop your head. obanai thought someone as tainted as him didn’t deserve such love from you, someone so pure. however, you wandered into his arms with no argument, embracing his being. obanai was sure that when the time was right, he’d marry you under your favorite cherry blossom tree.
the two of you were having brunch when MITSURI KANROJI realized she wanted to marry you one day. being the absolute bundle of joy she was, mitsuri was excited about the brunch the two of you planned days before. you’d be coming over to her estate, so the woman made sure to have lots of food prepared.
you arrived at mitsuri’s estate earlier than planned with a tray of sakura mochi you made just for her. although she ushered you to the dining room while she rushed the rest of her cooking and baking outside, you couldn’t help but wonder what was taking her so long. and when you realized it was because mitsuri was running all over the place to pay attention to everything she was cooking at once, you opted to help her.
you smiled at the love hashira, telling her she didn’t have to do all of this by herself, especially since she was providing for their meal. with a blossoming pink dusted across her cheeks, mitsuri thanked you and the two of you finished soon enough.
with everything set on the table, the two of you dug in. mitsuri babbled about her recent adventures like always, and you listened with a small smile on your face. from the moment you met, mitsuri was always so bright. the happiness she had always oozed out of her being and spread onto you, though you’ve never minded it.
while you found yourself lost in admiring her, another blush made its way onto mitsuri’s cheeks. your fond stare nearly made her heart melt when she noticed it. setting down her bowl, she felt her heart race against her chest as a certain thought crossed her mind.
you seemed to have caught yourself and quickly coughed before eating some of the fluffy pancakes she had made, commenting on how good they tasted. mitsuri giggled before she grinned endearingly. if you got married one day, then maybe the happiness of sharing a single meal would continue forever. truthfully, she wished that day would come soon.
NOTE. i was so into sanemi’s coming up with the other 3’s was a bit difficult 😓 sorry it’s a bit ooc (imo) this is my warm up dw
જ⁀➴ FOR SHE HAD EYES AND CHOSE ME
SUMMARY. under a sky filled with stars, you and giyuu tomioka make your feelings clear for each other
WARNINGS. 1.4k words, giyuu x shinazugawa!reader, fluff
a diary entry of the “mono no aware” series !
“it’s not like you to want to meet this late.”
“apologies, were you asleep?”
“i was actually tossing and turning in bed, so i’m glad you asked to meet. was there something you wanted to talk about?”
giyuu tomioka sighed at your question. yes, there was something gnawing at his mind. though, the man didn’t want to confess that the very thing causing him worry was you, who only seemed concerned for his well-being.
dreams are rare for giyuu, and that’s because when his mind conjures something in his sleep, it isn't always so happy. you appeared in his sleep this time, and that lovely dream of his quickly turned into a nightmare.
he remembered the ghostly feeling of holding your hand, and the next, you trying to bite his face off. you turned into a demon in his dream, and it was when he imagined himself taking his sword and decapitating your head that it turned into a nightmare.
a gust of wind suddenly blew, causing you to hug your figure. you were rubbing your arms when giyuu let out another breath and walked closer to you. without saying anything, he threw his haori over your shoulders. he stood less than an arm’s length away from you when the shine in your eyes caught his attention. he shifted his weight onto one foot.
“don’t die, y/n.”
you stared at him strangely. although giyuu’s words were quite straightforward, they only left you confused. did he send his crow all the way to you as a warning, and then come to your estate himself just to say those three words? if so, you wondered what prompted him to say something that could’ve waited until the next morning.
“is there something i should know?” you asked, itching for an answer. “are you… are you actually leaving the corps, giyuu-kun?”
ever since his participation in the final selection, giyuu never thought that he was worthy of being a demon slayer. you remembered the day he told you about his late friend sabito, whom he trained with until the final selection. it wasn’t too long ago, maybe a month since he told you. the young boy had saved plenty of the other slayers and not a single life was taken, except for his. the only one to die then was sabito.
even as one of the highest-ranking demon slayers, giyuu thought that sabito would’ve been a much better water hashira than him. if only he had lived, then maybe the man who stood before you would’ve been him and not the black-haired boy.
giyuu was plagued with survivor’s guilt, and you couldn’t help but relate. the thought of your younger siblings dying before you did was always a punch to your gut. giyuu didn’t know you felt the same as he did until then, and as sad as it was, it felt like it only brought the two of you closer.
“i really hope you rethink your decision,” you continued after his face grew slightly confused. “you’ve worked hard to become as strong as you are, and you leaving would be a huge loss to the corps.”
“do you really think that?”
“of course,” you nodded, sure. your ears grew warm as you turned your gaze to the stars, “i also know that if you left, i’d miss you every day. it won’t be the same without you.”
his heart skipped a beat at your reply. although you thought his words were a farewell, he only meant it as a warning. giyuu cared about you much more than he let on, and seeing you hurt in such a way, even if it was all just a nightmare, reminded him of such.
“i’d miss you too,” he admitted. “that’s why… i won’t leave the corps, not unless you come with me.”
your eyes widened. what did leaving the corps have to do with you? you thought about it for a moment before you spoke again, “why me?”
“when you’re by my side, things feel easier.”
“that’s- giyuu-kun, do you perhaps-“
“giyuu,” he corrected you. “please call me giyuu.”
you took his hand, “giyuu, please correct me if i’m mistaken, but do you… have feelings for me? if i’m reading into things wrong, don’t be afraid to tell me.”
ah, you actually hit the nail right on the head. although you didn’t notice it, the tips of giyuu’s ears turned pink as he held your fingers with your own. he didn’t say anything, but you didn’t have to be an expert in romance to know what he meant. your heart raced as you inched closer to him.
giyuu’s actions spoke louder than words. the first time you met him on the way to your first hashira meeting, you realized that fact quickly. you were navigating your way to the ubuyashiki estate when you became lost. giyuu had been walking some distance behind you for a few minutes when you stopped in your tracks.
‘which way should i go?’ you thought.
as you tried to decide which way to go, giyuu passed you. he didn’t spare you a glance as he continued ahead. since you noticed that his uniform had gold buttons like your own, you knew that he was also a hashira and that he was your best hope of finding the estate.
you followed giyuu, though you made sure to distance yourself to not make it obvious. but at every turn, after you ran to catch up and not lose him, he waited for you. after you turned the corner he had, the black-haired boy trudged ahead towards the next turn he’d wait for you at.
part of you wanted to believe it was just a coincidence that he happened to make a turn within your sight, but when you arrived at the meeting you quickly realized he was doing that on purpose.
“the master has been waiting,” gyomei, who was kneeling, commented when you and giyuu arrived. “it is unusual for you to be this late, tomioka.”
you then put the pieces together as you got down on one knee as well. you didn’t just happen to see him make every turn, giyuu had been waiting for you to follow. you felt yourself grow warm in embarrassment when you realized that he knew you were lost but pretended he didn’t.
it was difficult to tell because giyuu was no talker, but he was kind. since he helped you find your way, you felt obligated to thank him, and that was part of the reason why you started to talk to him in the first place, other than the fact you were curious about him and it would only be best to get along with someone you’d fight alongside.
it began with small talk when you passed each other, but quickly grew into longer conversations that took place even outside of work. all the time you began to spend with him developed your current feelings. your curiosity about the black-haired boy grew into genuine affection over the past 2 years, and you had completely fallen for him. and now, underneath the moon’s light, you realized he felt the same.
everything felt right when you moved your lips closer to his and connected them. giyuu cupped your cheek with his left hand and held your waist with his right before he leaned into you. your lips moved against each other with a nearly intoxicating hunger that would’ve consumed you whole if you didn’t pull away.
“giyuu,” you breathlessly whispered.
he pressed his forehead against yours and hummed, finally confessing, “i want to be yours, y/n. and if you allow me, i’d want for you to only be mine.”
his blue eyes met yours fiercely, and you didn’t bother resisting. you gave in immediately, nodding happily before pulling him in for another kiss. you threw your arms over his shoulders as he snaked his own arms around your waist, his haori falling to the ground without either of you noticing.
“this nearly feels like a dream,” you murmured.
“i hope not,” a faint smile adorned his lips. “when i dream of something, it doesn’t last very long. i don’t want this,” he intertwined his fingers with yours, “to end.”
“well then, we best not let it.” you fought back your own smile as you rested your head in the crook of his neck, “i don’t want this to end either. so, if you allow me, i’d love to be yours.”
giyuu’s lips then curled further as he stared at you in adoration, “yeah, i like the sound of that.”
this entry’s taisho secret— ever since you and giyuu have gotten together, whenever he misses you and is unable to talk or speak to you for some reason, such as being on a mission, he takes a look at the stars and remembers your shared confession. the thought warms his heart and helps him get through the time he spends missing you
Uzui Tengen: Former Sound Hashira
“Move your asses! If you don’t finish the last rep, no dinner for you tonight!”
Your husband’s loud voice carries a great distance, no surprise coming from the former sound hashira. This allows you to find him and your other co-wives fairly easily as you make your way up the mountain side where Tengen’s endurance camp had been set up.
You’re met with a somewhat…comedic(?) sight..of your flashy husband dressed in a casual kimono swinging a wooden sword at the fallen demon slayers who were clearly on the verge of passing out from exhaustion. You couldn’t help but feel pity for the poor kids.
“If you don’t get it together you’ll never survive what the other hashira have in store,” Tengen huffed, seemingly more annoyed than angry.
“Now now, Tengen-sama, don’t be so hard on the kids,” you sigh, setting down the extra pot you had been tasked with bringing to help prepare dinner. “You’ll end up giving them all nightmares.”
The way Tengen’s face lights up when he sees you makes your heart flutter. "Y/n! I was wondering where you went off to."
"I asked her to go back home to grab another stew pot," Makio chimed in, all while throwing a subtle glare towards a Suma. "Since someone forgot to do what they were told and bring it like asked.
Suma proceeds to hide behind you and Hinatsuru as you help her with the rice for the onigiri. "Uwahh! Y/n-san! Hinatsuru-san! Makio-san is targeting me again!"
"Please, don't start," You sigh.
"We all need to do our part," Hinatsuru said, like the mature woman of the group she was. "Let's do our best with dinner so that we aren't inconveniencing Tengen-sama."
With four sets of hands, you guys get dinner done by sundown, the smell of fresh onigiri and beef stew wafting through the air. However, the poor demon slayers were so worn out from your husband's brutal training, you don't think any of them would have the energy to even think about eating. Still, Tengen snaps at them to do so as to not let you all's hard work go to waste.
"Tengen-sama, please try to relax a little," you gently say, tugging on the end of his kimono. You offer him a bowl you had prepared. "It's not good to get so worked up."
Although grateful, Tengen doesn't say anything as he takes the food you offered, sipping the broth in silence.
That night, you soak in the Uzui Manner's private onsen, the stress of the day clouding your thoughts. You’re worried. You know the final battle against Muzan will inevitably happen, but you’re terrified. For your friends. For your family. What if Tengen has to come out of retirement to help? What if you and your co-wives are caught in the middle like in the Red Light District?
You’re so in your head that you don’t even hear the door open and someone enter. “What a surprise. I thought you were in bed by now.”
Tengen’s voice startles you and you’re quick to sink into the water to cover yourself. Your husband’s laughter fills your ears. “What are you being shy for?” Clad in nothing but a towel, you gawk at your husband’s physique. Despite officially retiring from the Demon Slayer Corps, his consistent training kept him in shape.
“You just surprised me…that’s all…”
Tengen settles behind you in the bath, the water sloshing as he enters and pulls you into his lap. You relax against his chest. “You wanna tell me what you were thinking about?” He asks, tracing his hand down your side making you shiver involuntarily.
“N-no….its nothing. But you seemed stressed earlier, Tengen-sama. Is there anything I can do for you.”
Tengen sighs, leaning back against the edge of the bath, arms spread and muscles tense. “It’s nothing, love, don’t worry.”
You frown. You then turn so that you’re straddling Tengen’s lap, the water splashing with your movement. Tengen raises a brow in confusion, but doesn’t question your actions. “P-please allow me to help you, Tengen-sama.”
Tengen chuckles, cupping your cheek gently. “You already do more than enough for me, and for that I’m very grateful.” The kiss he pressed against your lips starts off soft, only to grow more intense and desperate. You squirm, letting out a small whimper.
Feeling you rock against him, Tengen groans, his cock beginning to harden. He scoops you up underneath your thighs with one hand, not breaking your kiss. As he lays you down on the onsen deck, you shiver at the cold feeling of the stone. Tengen trails gentle kisses down your neck while his fingers grace your clit, stimulating the sensitive nerves.
“W-wait. W-wait,” you suddenly protest. Tengen pulls back, worried he hurt you. “I-I want to be of use to you, Tengen-sama. Please let me please you.”
Tengen wears a rather perplexed expression before chuckling. He sits back on the end of the bath. “Ok then, please me.”
You drop to your knees before your husband, taking his cock gently into your hands. It’s already stiff with arousal, pre pearling at the fat tip. Your finger traces the thick vein running up the side of Tengen’s length, making him twitch.
Tengen groaned as your warm mouth enveloped him, his head leaning back in satisfaction as his fingers gripped your hair tightly. You immediately began to suck, feeling your jaw strain as he began to swell in size. Tears prickled in your eyes, and you rest your hands on Tengen’s thighs to steady yourself.
"Mhmm fuck," Tengen moaned deeply. His low raspy voice only turned you on more. He gripped Your hair harsher and pulled you closer; you nearly gag. "Fuck. Don't stop. Use your hand. Fuck. There you go.”
You eagerly obliged, sucking him harder and taking more of him, or as much as you could cause he was just so damn big. Tears trickle down your cheeks, and it takes all Tengen’s willpower to not buck into your mouth. The sight of you looking at him so innocently, crying as you try to take his size almost has him coming down your throat. You can tell he’s close to his release from the way he tenses, muscles tightening, yet he quickly pulled you away.
“T-Tengen-sama?” You question, out of breath. Before you can react, Tengen has you pulled into his lap and your knees pressed to your chest with his arms wrapped under your legs in a rather embarrassing position that has your cunt exposed. In a single thrust, the tip of his cock kisses your cervix and you’re crying out.
Tengen rests his head against your back, breathing heavily. “You’re so good to me.” He groans at the feeling of your warm cunt wrapping snuggly around him. “I love you so much.” Tengen’s grip tightens, pulling your legs back further as his hips buck up, stretching you further. The slightly uncomfortable position makes you whimper.
“But tonight, I’m going to fuck you like I don’t.”
Iguro Obanai: Serpent Hashira
You know how ruthless and impatient your husband can be, so you pity the poor slayers who were stuck in the vicious vice-like hold Obanai’s training has. Most of them had been there for at least a week, if not more, unable to perform at a level that satisfied your husband. So, you’ve taken on somewhat of a nurse role, providing first aid to the many bruises, welts and rope burns the slayers received as part of the training. Your hope was that your treatment would lessen the pain of entering the baths.
“There! All done,” you say, closing up your first aid kit having just treated the cut on one member’s face. “Next time, remember to guard your vital spots. You’re lucky it was only training. A demon wouldn’t be so forgiving.”
“R-right! T-thank you Mrs. Iguro!”
You wave the slayer off as you finish packing your things up. Though you try to ignore it, you can still hear the whispering about your husband.
“How did such a sweet woman end up with a man like the serpent hashira?”
“Yeah the only real demon here is him…”
You grit your teeth in annoyance, prepared to say something when the sliding doors slam open. The atmosphere tenses as your husband walks in, a very angry and intense aura surrounding him.
“If you have time for idle chatter then you must not have worked hard enough,” Obanai scowled, Kaburamaru hissing around his neck. The slayers all quickly scramble to their feet and ran to grab their swords and avoid Obanai’s wrath.
You tug on his haori, stopping him from moving. “Dear, be nice.”
The scowl on his face somewhat softens only to immediately return when a new person announces their presence: Kamado Tanjiro.
“I look forward to training under you,” Tanjiro says, as cheerful as ever. Either he didn’t see your husband’s murderous look or he didn’t care. “Ah! Hello to you too Mrs. Y/n!”
You return the bright smile with one of your own. “It’s great to see that you’ve recovered well, Kamado-kun.”
“Oí! Don’t be so casual with my wife like you’re friends!” Obanai snapped. “And the rest of you stop gawking at her!”
You can only sigh. Of course, anything that you said practically went in one ear and out the other, and Obanai was so rough with the trainees you were surprised he didn’t break anything. Poor Tanjiro in particular seemed to get the brunt of your husband’s annoyance, leaving him with thankfully only some bruising since the training was conducted with practice swords instead of real blades. However, Obanai wouldn’t let treat anyone’s wounds this time around. The moment he ordered for them to scram somewhere, he dragged you out the dojo and back to the main house.
His grip on your wrist was tight, and you knew better than to protest when he was in his foul moods. But the fact that he hadn’t uttered a single word was making you somewhat anxious for what was to come. Was he somehow pissed off at you too?
Once you make it to your shared room and Kaburamaru slithers off somewhere, Obanai closes the sliding door. It’s just the two of you, the tension in the air is suffocating.
“U-um…O-Obanai…a-are you mad?” you try to break the silence only to receive the most piercing glare from your husband’s dual colored eyes, making you hush up instantly.
“Mad?” Obanai scoffs. “Nothing you do can make me mad at you. But…” His eyes trained to yours as he backs you into your shared futon. “I hate the way those idiots gawk and act too friendly with you. You’re my wife. You’re mine and mine alone.”
Obanai grabs your chin roughly, forcing you to look at him. His intense gaze while nerve racking is so insanely attractive that you’re whimpering quietly, trying to rub your thighs together in desperate need. Obanai picks up on this and lets out a low chuckle.
“I guess I have to remind you in other ways that you belong to me. Clothes. Off.”
You quickly start taking your kimono off, untying the Obi sash. Clearly you don’t move fast enough for your husband’s liking as he flips you on to your back and starts pulling the fabric off of you.
“W-wait, O-Obanai!” Your cheeks flush in embarrassment. Obanai ignores your pleas, and proceeds to use your obi to intricately tie up your l your wrists behind your back, pinning your arms almost uncomfortably together.
“Don’t you look pretty,” Obanai hums in amusement, pleased with the way the bindings were. He grabs your wrists and forces you to bend over, ass in the air. Obanai nudges your legs up to have a clear view of your dripping cunt, to which he inserts a finger, then two. You helplessly squirm against the restraints, keening against his touch.
“You’re so greedy,” Obanai scoffs. “You’re just sucking my fingers in.”
“Please, Obanai,” you beg. “I need you inside me.”
“Hm…since you asked so nicely.”
You hear him shuffle around, presumably to remove his clothes. You then feel the heat of his chest as he leans over you. Although he was somewhat rough with the restraints, Obanai is tender when he kisses your shoulder blade.
With one hand on you waist and the other on your wrists, Obanai inches his cock into you, groaning at how tight you feel around him. He bottoms out easily and you moan at the uncomfortable arch the position puts you in.
“M-move…p-please…” you whimper.
Obanai chuckles. He pulls out just to the tip before thrusting back in, setting a rough yet steady pace. His cock reaches so deep thanks to the position he has you in, making you gasp each time it kisses your cervix.
“Fuck…you feel so good…” Obanai groans. Usually he’s not one to be overly vocal during sex, but the heat of your cunt was just so addicting and he thought he would lose his mind.
“P-please…” you stumble over your words as he pounds into you. “C-can I hold you?”
Obanai falters briefly, his chest feeling strangely full. How do you always find a way to be so sweet to him? You were going to be the death of him.
Nonetheless, he unties the knot to release your wrists. He flips you over, realigning his throbbing cock at your entrance. You immediately wrap your arms around his neck and legs around his waist to pull him close. Both of you let out shaky moans as he thrusts back in. You gently kiss at the scars on his mouth, and he shivers in response, taking one of your hands to intertwine with his.
“I love you,” he mutters so quietly you almost don’t catch it. You nuzzle into his touch.
“I love you too.”
Shinazugawa Sanemi: Wind Hashira
You’re currently pissed at your husband and ignoring him. You ignoring him has him even more pissed off, so the Shinazugawa mansion is tense and a literal war zone. The impending war against Muzan is inevitable. While you understand that, you see no reason why your husband has to be such a dick to everyone. Especially to his own younger brother.
“That damn bastard, who does he think he is, going off the rails like that,” you angrily mutter under your breath as you threat Genya’s injuries. He winced at the antiseptic on his cut. You frown. “Sorry sweetheart…”
“It’s ok…Y/n-nee…” Genya says half heartedly. The recent fight between the Shinazugawa brothers ended up escalating to a dangerous point. If it weren’t for Tanjiro’s interference, there probably would’ve been more injuries. And having known the Shinazugawa brothers since childhood, you were fiercely protective of Genya. So seeing Sanemi attack his brother the way he did without any hesitation was literally your last straw.
“I’m sorry…” Genya said.
“Hm? For what?”
“For causing trouble in you and nii-san’s marriage…” the younger boy avoids looking you in the eye. “if only I could use breathing techniques and weren’t so weak…then maybe he’d acknowledge me.”
“Awe, Gen, don’t say that,” you say, pulling the younger boy into a tight hug against your chest. “Your actions have nothing to do with my marriage. Your brother is just being a pain in the ass but that doesn’t mean I still don’t love him. I know he has a shitty way of showing it, but he does care. I’m sorry that you’ve somehow gotten in the middle of our marital problems. I promise things will get better. For all of us.”
You finish tending to his injuries before placing a tender kiss on his forehead, like you used to do when you were kids. Still, Genya’s face explodes red at your babying, making you laugh as you take your exit. As you leave, you’re surprised to see your husband standing outside the door with his arms crossed. Your face sours.
“The fuck you want?” You snap.
“Still got a fuckin attitude?” He retorts.
“Says you.” You walk off in a huff. Sanemi sighs and runs after you.
“Y/n, wait. Please talk to me.”
“About what?” You say bitterly. “I don’t got shit to say to you after the stunt you pulled. I don’t want to hear anything from you unless it’s an apology.”
“Fuck, fine I’m sorry! Now will you listen to me?!” Sanemi desperately said, grabbing a hold of your wrist to stop you. Your eyes narrow, not trusting his words. “Look. I know I was wrong but I can’t take anymore of you ignoring me and doting all over Genya.”
You snatch your hand away, scowling. “So now you’re jealous of your kid brother? I used to change his goddamn diapers.”
“That’s not…ugh fuck. Come with me!” Once more Sanemi grabs your arm, dragging you through the manner against your protests. He brings you to your shared room, which for the past few weeks you’ve stopped sleeping in out of spite. Sanemi closes the door, locking it shut.
“Now what? You got me alone.” You scoff.
“Ugh just shut up!” Sanemi yells, grabbing your chin and kissing you frantically, almost desperately. Your response is muffled and your knees immediately go weak as he forces his tongue in your mouth to deepen the kiss. You’re gasping for air by the time Sanemi pulls away. He buries his head into your shoulder, inhaling your scent that he’s missed so much.
“I’m sorry…dammit…” Sanemi’s voice cracks slightly. “I don’t want to lose you too. I couldn’t bear losing another person so important to me…so please, stop being mad at me…I’m sorry.”
“Nemi…” You cup his cheek before pinching it harshly making him hiss. “You dumbass. That’s what this was all about?I didn’t realize you were this goddamn emotionally constipated.” You sigh, Sanemi now glaring at you while rubbing his cheek. You gently kiss the tip of his nose. “I’m not going anywhere any time soon, okay? I promise.”
Sanemi exhales, almost like a sigh of relief. “Okay.” He kisses you again, this time gentler as if he’s afraid you’ll leave. You wrap your arms around his neck, pulling him deeper. “I’ve missed you.” Sanemi muttered. His hands begin to wander, trailing up the side of your waist under your uniform.
“Did you miss me, or my body?” You tease.
“Mhm? Both.”
“You’re such a tease.”
“Yet you love me anyway.”
Sanemi kisses you again with more force, all while guiding you down to your shared futon. His hands are rough, groping your breasts, pinching your nipples that stiffen at his touch. You roll your hips upward to press against the growing bulge in his pants. Sanemi groans, biting your lip.
“You like testin’ my patience, don’t you?” Sanemi huffs.
“That depends,” you taunt, beginning to unbutton your uniform top. Sanemi swallows thickly, his Adam’s apple bobbing. “You gonna do something about it?”
Sanemi grit his teeth. He grabbed you by the waist, flipping you on your backside, the rest of your clothes torn off from his own impatience. “It looks like I’ll just have to fuck the attitude out of you.”
Your husband makes do of his promise, fucking you senseless into the sheets, weeks of built up tension between the two of you finally being released. He’s aggressive and rough, gripping at your hips so tightly they’d probably bruise. Your neck is littered with bite marks, while Sanemi’s already scared torso has fresh red scratches from the way you grabbed at him. Not that he minded.
“F-fuck,” Sanemi groaned, relishing the way you clenched around his cock. His hips snapped against yours, making you gasp and shudder. “Fuck I missed this. I missed you. Don’t ever fucking ignore me again.”
“N-Nemi, please, I’m close,” you whimper.
Sanemi grins. He puts your legs over his shoulder, pressing down to pin your thighs back in a mating press. The position, though uncomfortable, allows for his cock to reach even deeper. You feel so deliciously full, Tears prickling in your eyes. you cover your mouth trying to hide the sultry moans leaving your lips.
“Nope, I need to hear you,” Sanemi pants, pulling your hair. Your cries are music to his ears. “I need everyone to know how good I fuck my beautiful wife.”
He uses the pad of his thumb to wipe away your stray tears before kissing you tenderly. His pace faltered just a bit, making his thrusts more sloppy as his low grunts turned into airy moans. "Ah fuck I'm gonna come."
Sanemi gave one last deep thrust that had you gasping for air. You shivered feeling yourself be filled while your own orgasm hit. After he was sure he finished, Sanemi pulled out and sat back on his heels. He stared down you with a satisfied look on his face as some of his seed leaked from your swollen sex.
He scooped up some that spilled on to the bed and shoved it back into you. You whimpered from the overstimulation. "N-no more."
"Don't tell me what to do," Sanemi huffed. He aligned his cock at your entrance again and sank in with ease. He lets out a satisfied sigh and pulls you to his chest. "There. Now it'll stay in."
Tomioka Giyu: Water Hashira
“Tomioka-San? Hello! Tomioka-San? Excuse me? Are you there? Sorry to bother you. It’s Kamado Tanjiro!”
It’s the third day in a row the young boy has come by. At this point, you find it quite comical but you can tell your husband is losing his patience.
“Just entertain him, dear,” you say, folding up the laundry. “You know he’s not going to stop until you answer.”
Giyu doesn’t say anything before picking up his katana and leaving the room. You sigh. He had been so distant since the hashira training started. For some reason, he opted not to participate, and you could only assume that’s why Tanjiro’s been by every day to convince him otherwise. Nothing you could say would really change his mind either. The last few nights Giyu had been staying out later, only returning when he knew you’d fallen asleep and leaving first thing in the morning.
You didn’t want to push and pry, but you hope he’d open up soon. Or maybe, hopefully Tanjiro could talk some sense into him. You decide to at least go to the door and greet the boy.
“Giyu-San!? Maybe he’s not home…”
“He just left, in fact,” you say, opening the door. “Maybe you can catch him for me.”
“Ah! Y/n-san! H-hello! Sorry if I disturbed you!” Tanjiro said with a bow.
“No not at all! You’re always welcome here.” You then sigh. “Sorry my stubborn husband is causing you such trouble. If it’s not too much to ask, please talk some sense into him. I’m sure whatever it is it’s important.
Tanjiro smiled. “Of course! Leave it to me!”
For the next five days, Tanjiro shows up, trying to get your husband to talk to him. You’re thoroughly entertained by the situation that you do little to mitigate, ignoring Giyu’s obvious and desperate looks for help. After almost two weeks of this, Giyu finally comes home early one night with a rather defeated expression. You’re in bed reading when he enters your shared room and immediately collapses on the futon.
“Rough day?” You tease.
“Tanjiro doesn’t know when to quit,” Giyu sighs. He sheds his haori and places his is katana off to the side. “He wanted to have a soba eating contest?”
You laugh. “Did you win?”
“No. I yielded and promised to help with the hashira training.” Giyu doesn’t seem to thrilled by it from the tone of his voice. You frown, close your book and motion for your husband closer. Like a child, he crawls into your lap, laying his head against your chest and wrapping his arms around your waist. Giyu sighs contently, inhaling your scent.
“Why were you so against participating in the first place? I’m sorry, but I’m having trouble understanding,” you say, gently running your fingers through his long hair, pulling it out of his usual ponytail.
“Can we talk about it later?” Giyu mumbles. He nuzzles his face into your chest. “I just wanna hold you right now.”
You cup Giyu’s cheeks, forcing him to look at you. You smile. “It’s ok. I’m here for you.” You kiss him gently. Giyu relaxes into the kiss, groaning at the softness of your lips. “I love you so much. Don’t forget, okay?”
Giyu exhales. “Okay.”
He kisses you again, this time with more urgency. You wrap your arms around his neck to pull him close as you lay back down into the futon. Giyu trails kisses down the side of your neck, leaving love bites in their wake. His wandering hands tug at your nightgown, exposing your breasts to the cool air. His hair tickles your cheek making you giggle.
“Come on,” you tease, unbuttoning the top of Giyu’s uniform. “Clothes off.” His cheeks were flushed red, and his arousal was evident from the growing bulge in his pants.
“Help me, will you?” Giyu asks, shyly hiding his face in the crook of your neck. He watches while you unbuckle his belt and losen his trousers so that they fall to the floor. He could almost sigh from the instant relief when you release his erection from the confines of his boxers.
You give his cock a few languid strokes, making Giyu shudder in response. He twitched in your hand as you rub your thumb over the sensitive tip, precum beginning to leak out.
“A-ah…f-feels good…” Giyu groans. He has to steady himself on his elbows, resting his forehead against yours. It takes all his strength not to cum right there on the spot. He hikes your leg up around his waist and aligns his cock at your dripping entrance. “Relax, okay? I got you.”
Giyu slowly thrusts in, your wetness causing little resistance. You both groan at the feeling of him stretching you out. Your hips buck upwards, searching for more.
“G-Giyu, m-more,” you plea.
Your husband grunted and picked up the pace. He couldn't get the enough of the way you felt around him. The way your gummy walls would convulse with each snap of his hips. Your high pitched and needy moans for him and him alone nearly drove him over the edge.
"T-there! A-again!" You beg. You wrap your arms around Giyu’s shoulders to hold him close. Capturing your lips again, Giyu sucked hard on them in order to bruise. His thumb jabbed against your clit.
The action caused You to cum. You squealed, biting down on his tongue, making him growl. Your clit pulsated, feeling like it was still vibrating. Tingles raced through veins, rocking your entire body.
"F-fuck, I'm close!" Giyu pants.
His own high was reaching. His thrusts became less rhythmic and more sloppy. Low grunts and moans left his lips. The feeling of You tightening around his dick even more was enough to send him over the edge.
He comes with a low groan. His body rocks and he collapses on top of you, burrying his head into the crook of your neck once more. You squirm feeling him release into your womb.
Giyu pulls out, almost reluctantly and pulls you into his chest. He holds you close as you lull off to sleep. Before you doze off you hear your husband mutter a soft “I love you.”
Himejima Gyomei: Stone Hashira
“Damn it!” You huff. “Why…huff…did his…huff…training…huff…have to be on top of a stupid mountain!”
You slowly waddle your way up the top of the mountain side, on your way to deliver lunch to your husband who had been preoccupied for weeks with the Hashira training. He barely had been home. If he was, it was usually long after you had gone to sleep just to check on you and your unborn child. Then, he was gone before dawn to resume the training.
You missed him dearly. You hated how empty and cold your futon felt without his warmth. You hated how antsy you felt with not only the fear of the upcoming battle with Muzan looming in the distance, but the anxiety knowing that your due date was approaching within the next month. Sitting around was driving you crazy, so you took it upon yourself to make your husband a home cooked meal and bring it to him, asking the crow to guide you. What you didn’t expect was him to be at the top of a literal fucking mountain.
“Ugh I can’t do this…” you groaned, pausing at a random tree to rest. “My feet are cramping and if this child kicks me in my bladder one more time…”
“Eh? Mrs. Himejima?”
“Eh? Ah! Genya!” While you’re thrilled to see the boy that you’ve quite honestly grown attached to like your own child, he on the other hand is freaking out. Why were you out here alone in your condition? Did Himejima know that you were here? What should he do? Help you get home?
“Genya, have you seen Gyomei?” You eagerly ask, grabbing the boy’s hands. “I was trying to surprise him with lunch, but I kinda got lost on my way up here. It’s such a ways away from the other hashira isn’t it.”
“U-um I-I,” Genya stammered. He then sighed. He couldn’t say no to you when your expression was so innocent. He also wouldn’t forgive himself he let you get hurt. “Ok. I’ll lead the way. P-please be careful. Let me know immediately if you need anything!”
“Of course!”
You follow Genya down a path, asking the boy how his training has been with the other hashira. Eventually, the sound of roaring water fills your ears and you both arrive to a massive water fall.
“Namu Amida Butsu,” someone chants and you realize that there are demon slayers standing under the water, bracing the impact.
“Oh my, this is Gyomei’s training?” You gasp.
“Only the first part,” Genya sighs. “Most people collapse and don’t get past the rest.”
“I see.” You’re not that surprised that your husband’s session was the seemingly most physically challenging and demanding. It would of course be no issue for him as his giant stature and inhuman strength made even the most impossible of tasks look like a breeze. But you feel for the younger ones who haven’t quite figured out how to unlock that same inner strength.
“Eh? Wait? Is that Zenitsu!?” You exclaimed, realizing you recognized a head of yellow hair floating down the river. “Ehh! Oh dear! Zenitsu!”
“Wait! Mrs. Himejima!”
You’re already waddling toward the riverbed, trying to reach out and grab the seemingly unconscious boy. You strain as you try your best to grab him, but he slips past you. The rocks are slick with water and before you realize it, you lose your balance. Before you tumble forward, someone grabs you by your waist and gently lifts you out of the river.
“My love, what ever are you doing here?” The low, calm rumble of your husband’s voice fills your ears. Your cheeks warm as your face lights up in excitement.
“Gyomei!” You turn in his arms to hug him around his neck. “I missed you! I bought you lunch! Come on, let’s eat it before it gets cold.”
Gyomei chuckles. “Let’s get you out of the wet clothes first so you do not catch a cold.” He looks over to Genya and gives a slight nod. “Thank you for looking after her. You can be done for the day, Genya.”
“R-right! Thank you, sensei.”
You talk your husband’s ear off about nonsense, him listening with a smile on his face as he carries your back home. By the time you make it back though, you’re sneezing, shivering slightly from the cold.
“My love, what ever were you doing up there?” Gyomei asks, setting you down. He gently unties your Obi, sliding the wet kimono off your shoulders. “You could’ve been hurt, dear.”
“I wanted to surprise you with lunch…” you say somewhat bash fully. “I haven’t seen you much and I’ve really missed you.”
Gyomei softly smiles. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you feel neglected.” He unties the juban undergarment and you’re left completely bare and exposed before him.
You feel slightly self conscious. Your body has changed so much from the pregnancy. Your breasts were constantly swollen and tender. Your stomach now round and full with stretch marks streaking across your thighs. Yet, Gyomei’s hands are gentle as he explores the new changes to your body. His fingers grace over the curve of your belly, smiling as he feels his baby…your baby…kick against his palm.
“It’s ok…” you let out a shaky breath. “I know it’s your job.”
“No, my first priority is you and will always be you,” Gyomei insists.
“M-mei, can you touch me?” You plea.
“But you’re so far along now. I do not wish to hurt you, my love.”
“You won’t!” Maybe it’s the pregnancy hormones. Or maybe it’s the fact that you’ve been missing the gentle intimacy with your husband due to his busy schedule. Either way, you’re finding yourself overcome with desire, wanting nothing but for Gyomei to take and fill you up. “Please?”
Gyomei sighs. He can’t say no to you. “If I hurt you at any point please let me know.”
Laying down, Gyomei pulls you by your waist over his face, his hot breath tickling your core. Your face flushes. “W-wait, Mei, I’ve gained so much weight cause of the pregnancy. I’m so much heavier now and-“
“I don’t care,” Gyomei says, his gentle hands caressing your skin. “You can sit.”
“B-but-“
“Sit.”
The command leaves your legs weak and you settle down over your husband’s face. He grips your waist as he begins to eat you out. You gasp, for some reason more overly sensitive than usual.
“M-Mei-“ you whimper. You rock your hips in tangent with his tongue. Gyomei’s touch tickles your skin. He traces the curve of your stomach, making you shiver. He cups your breasts. They feel larger, and more swollen than usual in preparation to breastfeed. Your nipples are more sensitive too, stiff from Gyomei playing with them.
Your thighs try to clench shut, which Gyomei puts an immediate stop to. He forces your legs open wider to have deeper access to your dripping cunt as he greedily laps up everything you drop. Your essence is so sweet and he can never get enough of you.
As much as he hates to admit it, he’s hated how much his responsibilities as hashira have taken his focus away from you. He’s missed your touch, your taste. He’s missed your scent and your presence. He has noticed all the subtle ways your body has changed and he hates that he hasn’t been around more often to witness it.
“A-ah, I’m gonna cum,” you whimper, gripping at Gyomei’s hair. You let out a soft cry as your orgasm hits. Your body shudders and you feel your clit tingle as Gyomei sucks on the sensitive nerves. He laps up your release, squeezing your hips to ground himself. “W-wait. T-too much.” Suddenly, a second orgasm rocks your body that leaves you gasping. Your legs have lost their feeling, and you couldn’t stand even if you wanted to.
Gyomei pulls you into his lap. He hugs you into his chest, his hands snaking under your stomach to lift it gently and provide you some sort of relief. You sigh contently now that some of the weight was lifted.
“Are you alright my love?” Gyomei asks, kissing the back of your neck.
“Mm..” Your cheeks flush as you can feel your husband’s straining erection by sitting on his lap. His hard cock presses against his pants, yet he makes no effort to deal with it. “M-mei, do you…um want some help with…”
Gyomei chuckles, his chest rumbling. “Please do not worry about me, love. Your comfort and pleasure is my first priority.”
Rengoku Kyojuro: Flame Hashira
Like Uzui, Rengoku came out of retirement to help with the Hashira training. His session would take place after one passed Tokito’s endurance training and focused on working on Total Concentration Breathing.
Seems easy, no?
Reality is most people pass out due to their inability to regulate their breathing correctly, thus having to start the process all over again. Your job is to go around a bring water to keep the slayers hydrated. But most are unable to drink due to the constricting feeling of the lungs after trying to recover from constantly using total concentration breathing. That along with the other physical strains it puts on the body. So you just do your best to encourage people to drink when they can.
“Come now! You must focus on the flow of your breathing and raise your awareness of your entire body!” Your husband’s loud voice carries across the training grounds. You can even hear him when inside. “Mastering this will even allow you to detect the most hidden injuries and slow the progression of poisons”
“Darling, don’t overwork them,” you say, coming outside with a new pitcher of drinks and cups. You offer him a cup, which he gratefully takes. “Let them catch their breath first.”
“Very well! 3 minutes then we shall start the next rep!”
You can feel all the gracious looks from the junior slayers as they can finally recuperate for a moment, even if brief. You know your husband isn’t intentionally trying to be harsh. He just gets so passionate about something and sometimes seems to forget that others do not possess the same strength or stamina as him.
“Hello? Rengoku-San?” A familiar voice calls out. It’s a face you and Kyojuro haven’t seen in a minute.
“Ah! Kamado! Long time no see!” Kyojuro exclaims. “I’m glad to see you’re in good condition!”
“It’s good to see you again! You too, Y/n-san!”
“I’m glad you’re doing well,” you say cheerfully. “Good luck with the training.”
Since Tanjiro had already had some experience with Total Concentration Breathing, his session was slightly modified. He’d have to tackle the XL gourd, bigger than the one he did at the Butterfly Mansion and then would spar with Kyojuro. If he stopped his Breathing he’d have to restart. But before any of that, for a warm up, all slayers had to run a 5K while maintaining their breathing.
By the time the sun set, just about everyone was passed out, beyond exhausted from the day. Kyojuro was still in overly good spirits, and full of energy as if the training didn’t even cause him to break a sweat.
“Kyo, I think it’s best to call it a day,” you deadpan.
“Really? But it’s not even dark yet?” Your husband has the most innocent look on his face.
You frown but then an idea strikes you. You lean in close to Kyojuro so that others around you can’t hear the next filthy words that leave your lips.
“If you still have so much energy left, why don’t you use that to put a baby in me like you’ve been wanting.”
You walk off without letting him respond, so you miss the way Kyojuro’s face explodes red. He rambles off some sort of excuse to the other slayers about training concluding for the day before rushing off to find you.
You wait patiently in your room, undressing so that you’re in nothing but your underwear by the time your husband arrives in a frenzy. Kyojuro’s face is flushed, chest chest heaving. The moment he spots you, he picks you up and pins you to the nearest wall, kissing you with urgency.
You groan as Kyojuro’s tongue forces its way into your mouth. His hands gripping the meat of your thighs tightly as he presses his growing erection against your exposed core.
“Feel so big, Kyo,” you whimper, rolling your hips against his.
“My flame, did you mean what you said earlier?” Kyojuro pants, his voice husky and airy as what little restraint he had started slipping away. He needed to fill you up and feel you around him bad, but he wouldn’t unless you were serious.
“Put a baby in me, Kyojuro,” you all but demand.
“If that is what my lovely life wishes,” Kyojuro chuckles. He lays you on the futon and sheds his clothes quickly. “Then I shall fulfill.” His cock is already stiff against his abdomen, twitching in his hand as pre cum oozes from the tip. You trace your fingers down his scared torso, noting the way Kyojuro’s muscles tense at your touch.
“I can’t wait to see what you look like when you tummy’s all swollen and full with my child,” Kyojuro said, aligning his cock at your entrance, his cheeks flushed. “You’ll make such a good mother.”
In a single thrust, Kyojuro sheathed his cock into your cunt to the hilt. The penetration left your eyes watering, crying out in pleasure. Kyojuro groaned. You felt so snug and warm around him that it took everything to keep from pounding into you right away.
“G-gods…you feel so good…”
“K-kyo, m-move,” you beg, trying to move your hips for some sort of friction.
Kyojuro grunts. He pins your legs to your chest, With a languid roll of his hips, he experimentally pulled his length out from the clamp of your hole. And with a sharp snap, he drove himself back into you. The sheer force of his scorching length shot the first wave of pleasure through the both of you. The two of you let out low moans. That first penetration gave way to a succession of increasingly rougher thrusts that had your body burning with pleasure.
Kyojuro’s body shuddered slightly anticipation. You clung to him and dug your nails in his shoulders trying to keep him close. The way his cock stretched you out had you feeling so full and lightheaded, leaving you babbling his name like a mantra.
Kyojuro groaned. He hovered over you, leaning down the kiss you passionately. His hands trailed up side to your nipples that became erect from pleasure. Lips trailing up the side of your neck, he left several bite marks.
"Ah a-ah t-that feels funny." You squirmed. "Kyo ~"
The sound of you moaning his name made Kyojuro’s cock throb. He fumbled slightly, his aggressive and frantic rutting becoming slower and slightly sloppy, instead.
“Ugh, coming,” Kyojuro groaned. He buried himself all the way to the hilt inside you. His orgasm hit and it hit hard. His dick pulsated with each subsequent spurt of cum. His hips still as he emptied inside you.
Your eyes roll to the back of your head as you feel your insides snap. Your pussy clenching tightly around Kyojuro, practically milking him as your own high shakes your body.
“S-shit,” Kyojuro gasps. He pulled out of your abused hole, watching the way his seed trickled out. The sight made his dick twitch. “This won’t do,” he chuckled while pulling your legs up around his waist. “At this rate, I won’t get you pregnant. Guess I’ll just have to fill you up again and again until it sticks.”
THE GREAT WAR — PART II (NSFW teaser)
GIYUU TOMIOKA • SECRET PREGNANCY AU
I knew tonight’s episode would send me nosediving back into my TGW obsession. So enjoy a look at our favorite dumb love birds going to town.
CW: explicit sexual content • MDNI • Giyuu is obsessed with the concept of the female orgasm • oral sex (f!receiving) • some cum eating (more to come)
READ PART I HERE
Giyuu sat and watched her for a moment longer, spread out across the polished wood, her kimono disheveled and her legs still trembling from the intensity of their love-making.
He clicked his tongue. He hadn’t had enough; not nearly so.
“Oomph!” Y/N squealed as Giyuu slid his arm under her and hauled her up and over his shoulder, her opened kimono barely clinging to her frame. Her hands scrambled to clutch at his back to steady herself as the engawa disappeared from below her.
“Giyuu –”
“If you think I’ve had enough of you now, then you’ve sorely underestimated me,” Giyuu cut her off, firmly. “You owe me more.”
“Owe you –” the Miko sputtered
“Yes,” Giyuu replied simply. “You owe me more of your pleasure. I’ve not yet had my fill of it.”
“You are ridiculous.”
“Perhaps,” he conceded, nudging the door to his — their — bedroom open with his foot. “Or perhaps I’m simply a man who was forced to hold himself back from the woman he loves for far too long.”
Though his movements were perhaps slower in the absence of his right arm, Giyuu nonetheless managed to carefully lay his blushing fiance out upon their futon. He sat back, his hand sliding between her knees to urge her thighs apart and make room for him as he settled between them.
“And I want to consummate our impending union.”
Y/N flushed crimson as he began pressing slow, teasing kisses along the inside of her thigh as he made his way down to where she was already aching for him once more.
She fought against the moan building in her throat. “Consummation is for those who have already wed, and you took liberties well before you ever proposed betrothal.”
“Have I not made my intention to marry you quite clear?” Giyuu hummed against her skin, those lapis eyes flicking up to hers, narrowing in on the way she tugged her bottom lip between her teeth.
“N-no,” and Giyuu smirked at the pitchiness of her tone and how her chest heaved beneath his ministrations. “Nor have you given me my sword, as you prom — oh.”
The shrine maiden’s head thudded back against the padding of the bed as Giyuu traced the tip of his tongue along her slit, gathering what remained of both his and her pleasure into his mouth with a low groan.
He pulled back just enough that only his lips grazed the outside of her cunt. “You still talk too much,” he murmured and then he latched his mouth to her core, his tongue sliding smoothly into her entrance, and Y/N fell silent once more.
wait til y’all see him accidentally make her squirt lmao
You and Giyuu had always kept things... quiet. Not out of necessity, but because that's how Giyuu preferred it. He wasn't the type to flaunt his feelings or make a show of your relationship, and you didn't mind...most of the time. Sure, you'd tease him now and then, but your marriage wasn't something you shouted from the rooftops. You didn't hide it either, though.
People just never asked.
You were nothing like Giyuu in any aspect. Where he was brooding and silent, you were bubbly, always smiling, always drawing attention with your lively personality. Once you came into Hashira position, you'd gain the reputation of one of the friendliest and most outgoing but also one of the strongest.
People admired your skill, but they couldn't help but not ignore how you looked. You had that beauty to draw eyes, combined with your personality, it wasn't rare to hear other people say how you were one of the prettiest demon slayers.
No one knew your last name, though.
That might've been a clue-if any of them had stopped to think about it.
It was no secret that you spent a great deal of time around Giyuu, but most of the Hashira had come to the conclusion that you must pity him-some sort of friendly charity case. And Giyuu, in his usual way, didn't correct them. He never explained why you two were always together.
He let them assume and you let him.
But it was about to come out—whether you planned it or not.
The meeting started off like any other. You sat near Giyuu as per usual, not that anyone paid much attention to seating arrangements anymore. It had become routine. Sanemi barely spared a glance in your direction, too busy looking irritated by something else entirely, while Mitsuri flashed you her usual bright smile.
Rengoku was already there, greeting you with his boisterous energy. "Ah, good morning! You are looking radiant today as always!"
You smiled back at him. "Thanks, Rengoku."
Giyuu nodded in greeting but didn't say a word, silent as always and as still as air. You were used to it, though. His silence didn't faze you. Giyuu loved being near you in private, he was like a cat that didn't want to leave. But today, you did have something to ask, something that was going to definitely stir the pot.
When Ubuyashiki asked if anyone had announcements, you took a deep breath, preparing for the storm that would most definitely arise.
"Master Ubuyashiki, Giyuu and I would like to request a leave of absence for a week."
The other Hashira's eyes fell instantly upon you, curiosity written on their faces. Ubuyashiki smiled. "Of course. And for what reason?"
You grinned, your eyes flicking to Giyuu, who looked faintly concerned-he hadn't expected you to announce it, but you couldn't help yourself. "It's our anniversary."
There was a wave of shock around the room, though nobody said a word in that instant. Mitsuri gasped, eyes wide with wonder, while Sanemi shot you a look of utter incredulity. Rengoku's eyebrows shot up, for once, his grin faltered while he processed what you had said.
But Ubuyashiki didn't seem remotely surprised. As serenely as he always spoke, he merely inclined his head and said, "Ah, of course. Happy anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Tomioka
Mitsuri's face had sagged. "W-what...?! Mrs. Tomioka?!"
Rengoku's eyes blinked, his confusion curled into laughter. "Wait—Giyuu's wife?! And all this time we thought you were just keeping him company out of pity!"
Giyuu's eyebrow twitched at the comment.
Sanemi huffed loudly, wrapping his arms around himself as if to shield the bruised ego within. "You've got to be kidding me. You're married? To him?"
Uzui leaned back as if he finally found the most amusing part of his day. "Tomioka's been keeping a pretty little secret from us this whole time, huh?" he said, raising an eyebrow in a smirk. "I gotta say, you are full of surprises. Bet you ain't as dull as we thought, Giyuu.
You tried to keep the laughter welling up inside of you contained, but Giyuu's expression was making you not to do so, he was getting embarrassed from the teasing. His face was stoic as ever, but you could sense him tense up. A hand laid stiff upon his lap gave a small jerk-a faint sign that all this attention set him ill at ease. You leaned forward and casually laid your hand over his, giving it a slight squeeze.
"Well, we didn't exactly hide it," you teased with a smile. "We just didn't tell anyone."
Sanemi grunted low. "You mean he didn't say anything."
Giyuu had nothing to say, his eyes on the floor. Moments like this, you knew he wanted to disappear. But instead of letting the others keep their teasing going, you turned the tables.
"Oh, don't look so surprised," you teased, moving in a little closer to Giyuu with a sparkle in your eye. "It's been years now. Giyuu's always been such a romantic."
Sanemi snorted, and Tengen let out a loud laugh. "Yeah, right. I really can't picture Tomioka being romantic."
You smiled, leaning your head against Giyuu's shoulder in exaggerated love. "He planned a whole week off for our anniversary. Isn't that sweet?
Mitsuri, the eternal romantic, squealed in delight. "Oh, my goodness! That's so adorable! How long have you two been together? Why didn't we know this all this time?!"
"Well," you said, "Giyuu's good at keeping secrets."
By this time Giyuu's face was a deep crimson color. his ears almost burned with embarrassment. You knew he'd most likely scold you later for being so casual about letting it all spill out, but for the time being you enjoyed your fellow Hashira's reactions.
Rengoku, still smirking, crossed his arms. "Three years of marriage, eh? That's awesome! I'm shocked we never put two and two together. How long have you two been a couple?
"Since we were in our teens," you said matter-of-factly. "We went through quite a bit together. He was always there to support me, even when I wasn't yet a Hashira."
The smirk on Tengen's face spread further. "So, how does it feel being Mrs. Tomioka? Got to say, I'm kind of curious. He's got that stoic brooding vibe going on, but I'll bet he's different when it's just the two of you, huh?"
Your beamed, and you shot Giyuu a sly look. "I don't kiss and tell."
That made the rest burst into a fit of laughter, though Mitsuri turned to you dreamily. "That's so romantic. I just can't believe that you were married all along..."
Sanemi rolled his eyes. "Romantic? It's impossible."
You laughed, leaning into Giyuu just a bit more, earning a barely audible sigh from him. You could tell he was trying to hold it together despite the attention, and you knew he'd probably scold you later for making such a big deal out of it. But for now, you were having too much fun with the moment.
Ubuyashiki merely smiled at the both of you, his calm and collected demeanor accompanied by an understanding sheen in his eyes. "I hope the two of you enjoy your week off together. It's well deserved."
You nodded gratefully to him. "Thank you, Master Ubuyashiki.
The other Hashira were still talking when the meeting wrapped up, still apparently in a daze from your marriage bombshell. Mitsuri darted over to you the instant the meeting was finished, her face shining with excitement.
"I have so many questions! How did you two meet? Who confessed first? Oh, I bet Giyuu's so sweet when no one's looking, isn't he?"
You laughed, dodging her interrogative attack. "It's a long story, Mitsuri. Some other time, I'll tell you."
With that said, before you could utter another word, Giyuu silently got up, tugging lightly on your sleeve. "Let's go."
You followed him out of the meeting room, the eyes of the other Hashira seemingly still on you well after you left. When they were outside and far enough away from their prying gazes, Giyuu let out a long, exasperated sigh.
"You liked that, didn't you?" he asked, his voice low but his tone gentle instead of angry.
You smiled up at him, slipping your hand into his. "Maybe just a little. But come on, they were bound to find out eventually. It was kind of fun seeing their reactions."
Giyuu sighed again but didn't argue. Instead, he squeezed your hand gently, and his expression softened just a little. "I suppose it wasn't unbearable."
You laughed, leaning up to kiss his cheek. "See? I told you it'd be fine."
Giyuu said nothing, but the slight flush of his cheeks did the talking.
