I don’t use tone tags to help you understand. I use them so you don’t get mad at me because you misunderstood. It is not the same.
I HATE using tone tags I die a little inside every time I use one but it’s better to be safe than sorry,,,,,,
we should make up even more confusing tone indicators. we need one that represents bodies of water as a concept. we need one that suggests the entirety of shakespeare's macbeth. we need one that implies the meaning of christmas.
PLEASE use these or anything tbh to indicate your tone when talking to people! If you say something sarcastic, give it a /s!!! Some of us can’t tell! Even just adding an extra lmao on the end of the text will help!
