Las torres medievales Inguseh, conocidas como "vepshi", fueron construidas principalmente entre los siglos XIII y XVII, por los ingush, un grupo étnico nativo en la región del Cáucaso Norte.
Estas torres se encuentran en zonas montañosas de lo que hoy es la República de Ingushetia, Rusia.
Los ingush construyeron estas estructuras como parte de sus complejos defensivos y residenciales.

Bamburgh Castle is a castle on the northeast coast of England, by the village of Bamburgh in Northumberland. It is a Grade I listed building. Built, 11th century! The site was originally the location of a Celtic Brittonic fort known as Din Guarie and may have been the capital of the kingdom of Bernicia from its foundation in c. 420 to 547.

Hülchrath Castle
in North Rhine Westphalia, tombstones from the Jewish cemetery were used to build certain parts of the castle. Built in the marshy lowlands of the Gillbach, a tributary of the Erft the castle goes back to the 12th century and has retained a large part of its medieval structure.
