rewatched the entirety of tales of arcadia, 3 series and .... the movie..
and and i came across and idea somewhere i forgot where, of combining the httyd + Tao universes!
to be clear, i don't mean in a crossover where to franchises meet but the lore being combined into one universe ahah, so events in httyd still happened then idk years and years later toothless the king of dragons is still alive but ancient and has met the champion of arcadia, the trollhunter Jim!
It's been well, so long since his dragons have interacted with humans, so it was quite surprising to see one enter his secret home,
don't have much story or lore in it yet, it is just a fun thought for now, having toothless meet new ppl that remind him of his old friends
sometimes they resemble them a lil too much..
did i mention he talks here now? I dubious choice but idk, i think it would be fun

Sos for any spelling mistakes, je suis trés stupid. So, Jim wants to get into the unknown but how can he find something that doesn’t exist?
This is part 2
[ A new ship entered the field] Wirt x Jim, but it’s very one sided since Jim is still with Claire. Hmm, I wonder how Wirt fits into the story 🤔
Jk, there’s no suspense here, this is more a concept of a comic, rather than a fully fledged, linear comic. As you’ll see, there are parts that seem to be missing, and that’s cuz I’ve only done a few comics. However, they span over a large-ish period of time. Large enough for there to be gaps. Dw tho, I’ll fill you in on what needs to be said.
Things gotta eat to survive, and Wirt isn’t an exception. But for his sanity, he preys on the weak and faithless, knocks them out, and tries to help them out of the unknown. If they get out, yippee! If not... there’s nothing he could’ve done to help them more, and he has food. An extremely grey shade on an ethical scale.
This is part 1 of the second chapter. I have no clue how to put it cuz I’m dumb, so imma go with chapter.

Bonus of chapter 2~
Someone’s hungry. And it won’t go away if he ignores it.
Eli, being the theorist that he is, told his friends (steve + the main trio) about the unknown. He also mentions how he saw Wirt quickly, though he doesn’t go into detail about how Wirt looked and behaved differently, because of Eli feeling a bit embarrassed with the heart to heart.
Jim’s confused at how Eli not only found a way into the unknown (without even knowing it existed), but also why he saw Wirt there. Maybe the unknown manipulates itself into something familiar, but then why Wirt? He didn’t have any relation to Eli, so why him? Jim had no clue what was going on, but one thing is for sure. He’s gonna have to investigate Wirt closer.
So why not ask him to hang out?

Btw my art style becomes increasingly meme-y as I go on, cuz I just find it funny.
Part 2, Chapter 3.
I think we can all relate to Wirt at least once in our lives. Also, I love Wirt being accidently obvious and Jim being absolutely clueless. Also Wirt knows this wasn’t meant to be a ‘date’ but he can’t help but get really nervous since he’s really fallen head over heels for Jim and wants to make a good impression.
After a few hours into the ‘date’.
Part 3, Chapter 3
Maybe my art represents the amount of brain cells active at that moment in time. Like at the start it was a lot, now it’s probably like 2 n’ a half.
Part 4, Chapter 3
So this is where I stopped the actual comics, but I’m probably gonna make some more somewhen. How’s this gonna go? How’s Jim going to continue covering up his true intentions? How will he make it into the unknown? Will he even make it into the unknown? Where is Greg?
I can answer the last one, the next post is a small Greg appreciation post.
I should really intergrate Greg better into the story. He’s a fun character that can really help stir the pot.

It’s her senior year at Arcadia Oaks High when suddenly Claire finds the Amulet of Daylight becoming the first human trollhunter.
In this AU, think of Claire as the gorgeous punk introvert and Jim as the golden retriever extrovert.. he can cook, do first aid, super kind, tall and handsome?! every girls dream right? and Claire’s (not so) secret crush.
She’s friends with Toby early on because of their amazing sibling chemistry and Toby’s natural charisma— he likes to help (and tease) her with her little crush on Jim.
Eventually you can imagine our iconic trio together fighting stony crime: trollhunter claire, warhammer toby, and shadow magic jimmy jam
I have lots of ideas for this fic and I’d get all into the nitty gritty but I’ll spare you haha, hope you enjoy this snippet 🤪
