The pizza delivery NPC has bothered me for ages with its screamingly red color. Also, what’s up with all the different logos? One logo on the car, another one on the pizza box and a THIRD one on the clothes???

NPC Clothing
I shoeswapped afbodypizzadelivery and ambodypizzadelivery with shoes from umbottomwillpants (”converted” to female by me). The shoe meshes are similiar, but not the same! I fixed the shoes’ texture as well to make them match better. In addition to this, I removed shadows, changed colors and fixed a black spot on the AF mesh.
I tried to fix the mapping on the female mesh (on the back) but I couldn’t fix it completely unfortunately - I’m talking about how the logo on the female mesh is a bit “squished” compared to the male mesh. I removed the logo on the front and replaced the one on the back with my new one. The simlish reads: “at your door!”
I uploaded my fixed shoe texture (.png) and two .ms3d files (AF/AM) here, for anyone who would like to use these shoes on other outfits!
Vehicle
I separated the sign on the car, re-mapped it, gave it its own (+new!) texture and also fixed the edges. This default is compatible with any texture default you might have for the pizza vehicle (vehiclepizza-surface_txtr), but it won’t affect the sign. It’s not compatible with dharden’s clean pizza car replacement though, since they also edited the shpe. I personally like the dirty car, but I included a version with the gold/clean texture from Michelle since not everyone might be a fan of the dirty look.
If you use my version, remove dharden’s!
Pizzas
I’ve edited both pizza textures a bit. I made the pepperoni one less red and increased saturation on the combo pizza. (It’s not that big of a difference - I'm aware, but they irked me!)
Before you say “two pizzas?!” - I know I know!! :-D when I extracted the pizza texture I came across a second unused pizza texture. I made a thread over at MTS about this which simler90 saw and kindly fixed EA’s mistake, so make sure to get their fix here! :-D
Pizza Box
I also defaulted the pizza box. I’ve never seen a white pizza box in my entire life, we only have brown ones here in Sweden - so brown it is! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
to clarify: the pizza box and pizza defaults are in the same file - if you choose to download my defaults separately (vegankaktus_DEFAULTpizzasbox.package)
I also repositoried labine730's buyable pizza box to “foodpizzabox-insideoutside” (it will pick up my default now, or any other default you have for the pizza box. And if none: EA’s original texture) for an anon, and made carvernosims' extracted basegame items compatible with it. It's the file "functionalpizzabox+extracteditems.zip". I also made labine730's pizza box available on community lots + edited the catalogue so now it's found in both kitchen - appliances and kitchen - general since I read about people having problems finding it.

I shared a pizza NPC default replacement about a month ago, and here is my default-addon for the chinese delivery!
NPC Clothing
Since the pizza and chinese delivery NPC share mesh, you have to download my pizza NPC mesh replacement for this to show correctly :-)
If you download my pizza defaults as separates, it’s the “vegankaktus_DEFAULTaubodypizzadelivery.package” file you need.
Vehicle
I replaced the sign on the car with my re-mapped sign and gave it a new texture. Since the chinese delivery vehicle doesn’t have its own (car) texture, it’s compatible with my pizza car replacement. And if you choose to use the clean default from that post, the chinese delivery vehicle will pick up that default too.
Chinese Food Box
I replaced the logo on the food boxes, gave the food a new texture (also re-sized it to 1024x512 instead of EA’s original 256x128) and fixed a small mesh error on the opened food box.
I repositoried labine730′s buyable chinese food to foodtakeout-materials_txtr, which means it will now pick up my default (or any other default for the food boxes you might have, and if you have none: EA’s original) and enabled it on community lots + changed the catalogue to both kitchen - appliances and kitchen - general since I read about people having problems finding it. I didn’t need to edit carnevorsims’ extracted basegame items this time, since it didn’t include the chinese food. In other words: labine’s buyable chinese food is compatible with carnevorsims’ extracted items (both my edit and their original).

This is a small (it’s literally 3kb!) default replacement for the baby bottle (and smartmilk) using txmt resources from ATS’ baby bottle for @dinalandgraab :-)
I made the yellow rubber top (is there even a word for that part?) a bit more vibrant and while I was at it, I edited @midgethetree’s vampire baby bottle mod to fit my default + gave it its own rubber texture. Midge’s mod is not necessary for my default to work, but it requires nightlife (and other mods from Midge - 1, 2) since that’s when vampires got added to the game.
All files have been compressed to reduce file size and remember you can only have one default replacement for the baby bottle in your downloads folder at a time! Let me know if you encounter any issues :-)

I can’t possibly be the only one who hated EA’s color choices for the toy oven, right? (; ಠㅂಠ) and the horribly low-res muffin? So here! Have some defaults for the toy oven and its muffin-related stuff :-)
I re-mapped the muffin pan and ingredients bag. I also gave them new textures (the ingredients bag now has its own texture and is no longer repo’d to toyoven-surfaces_txtr). I re-sized the muffin textures to 128x128 (EA’s original were 64x64) and gave them a new cooked and burned texture. They are compatible with Rosebine’s re-sized muffin!
The pink measuring cup children use when baking muffins is repo’d to toyoven-surfaces_txtr, which means that it will pick up my default replacement as well :-)
You can choose between separate and merged defaults, and all files have been compressed to reduce file size. If you have any defaults in your downloads folder defaulting the same thing as my defaults, you have to remove those before installing mine. Let me know if you encounter any issues :-)
If you choose to download my defaults as separate files, the muffin pan is merged with the toy oven (otherwise it would look weird) and if you don’t install my ingredients bag default, it will use part of the toy oven’s texture, like EA's original does.
Oh and also! Forgot to mention, I recommend sunrader’s “fix” and itsdiamondeyesuniverse’s more muffin options! :-D

What’s that you say? IT’S A MUFFIN ON A STICK! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)b
Until I figure out how to make my great idea come to life, I’ll share my default for the “leg of a lamb” sims feed the cowplant.
There are two versions to choose from and University is required for both. If you have pets installed, you can choose to use the repo’d default (it’s repositioried to “accessorypettoystick_txtr”) and if you’re using my default toy stick, it will pick up that default as well. If you don’t have pets installed, it’s the file with “_uni” at the end you want. The stick texture in the university version is from my toy stick default, since I didn’t see a reason to use EA’s original texture.
The muffin is repo’d to “toyovenmuffin-surfaces-cooked_txtr” (in both files) from basegame, which makes these files very small. If you use my default for the muffin, both files will pick up that as well (in my previews both my defaults for the muffin and stick is used). Yay for repo’d stuff! :-D
The muffin looks a bit off-center in my previews, but I’ve fixed that now! I was just too lazy to re-do the previews, hope you understand (; ´༎ຶㅂ༎ຶ`)b
Remember you can only have one default replacement for the leg of a lamb (😢) in your downloads folder at a time! Both files have been compressed to reduce file size, and do let me know if you encounter any issues :-)

This has been on my to-do-list for ages. I can’t say I’m 100% happy with the result, but for now I’m okay with how it looks. Otherwise I would poke at this for all eternity (; ಠㅂಠ)b
This is an edit of @hugelunatic‘s CEP-extra (I fell in love with that bowl!) which means this should be placed in your Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\zCEP-EXTRA folder. You still have to download HugeLunatic’s HL_CEP_bg_fruitBowl-programfiles.package file though from the link above.
Edit: sorry if I was a bit unclear! In other words: my file (vegankaktus_HL_CEP_bg_fruitBowl.package) should replace HugeLunatic’s original file (HL_CEP_bg_fruitBowl.package) in the document’s CEP-extra folder. HL_CEP_bg_fruitBowl-programfiles.package file is still needed! And should be placed in the program files folder :-)
I extracted the pineapple + pear from TNW’s 3t2 fruit hat (I edited the pineapple texture a bit to remove most of the shadows). The apples and oranges are extracted from seasons. The bananas are by soloriya (warning T$R) which @alienpod kindly extracted for me<3
I also included 6 recolors of the bowl and 1 green recolor for the bananas. Since I couldn’t fit everything into one texture (milkshape’s scale system in the texture coordinate editor is not my best friend) and ts2 can only have two subsets, I decided the second subset would be the bananas. If I ever figure out how to scale mappings easily without any distortion, I’ll try again. But for now, this is the best I can do :-)
My bowl recolors can be used with HugeLunatic’s original CEP-extra (just skip my banana recolor and you’re good to go) if someone would like to use my recs but not my new default.
All files have been compressed to reduce file size, and for my recolors you can choose between merged and separate files. The CEP is required for this to work, and remember you can’t have any other default or CEP-extra for the fruit bowl in your downloads folder while using mine! Let me know if you encounter any issues :-)

Some clutter extracted from the OFB toybench!
These are 9 new objects with their own custom GUIDs. They are all repositoried to the toy bench from OFB which means you must have open for business for these to show up correctly, otherwise they will flash blue. They can be found for $2 under decorative - sculptures. I also included a collection file in the download :-) this collection file can be placed in your downloads folder or in Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Collections.
All files have been compressed to reduce file size and since they are repo'd, the files are very small! I used random.org to randomize the GUIDs, but there's still a small chance some object out there has the same GUID. Let me know if you find one! Then I'll fix it asap :-)

I’m not sure if anyone else would be interested in this default, but eh, I’ll share it just in case :-)
This is a texture default replacement for the food boxes from Pets. I used the textures from EA’s “posterpetfood” and made the food boxes a bit more detailed ( ´༎ຶㅂ༎ຶ`)b
I also edited Shakeshaft’s pet food deco (warning T$R). I edited the sale value from 0 to 20 and edited the catalogue to general - pets instead of deco - misc. I also repo’d the mesh to "accessorypetfoodbox-catdog” and made two recolors (merged into one package) which are repo’d to "accessorypetfoodbox-mammal” and “accessorypetfoodbox-bird”. You can’t have both my edit and Shakeshaft’s original mesh in your downloads folder, so choose one! My recolors will work with Shakeshaft’s original, if you for some reason don’t want my edited version but my recolors. My default is not necessary for my edit of Shakeshaft’s mesh and said edit is not necessary for my default to work. Pick and choose what you want!
And don’t worry, you can still recolor Shakeshaft’s mesh using my file and existing recolors will work :-) I did edit the mapping a bit (to get rid of the “opened” texture) so recolors not based on EA’s texture might look weird.
As usual, remember you can only have one default replacement for the pet food boxes in your downloads folder at a time! All files have been compressed and do let me know if you encounter any issues!

An anon was looking for Sunni’s “Apartment Life Door Without Doormat” over at sims2packrat, and I’ve been looking for that door as well but since I couldn’t find it I edited EA’s original door and while I was at it, made some mat defaults :-)
For some reason, the door has various GMDCs and the resource I replaced only contains the ground shadow. In other words; this default probably won’t conflict with any mesh nor texture defaults for the door itself.
I replaced every doormat but the black, blue, grey, orange and zebra ones because I personally think they are quite cute.
Edit 2021-07-30: added custom versions of my default mats for anon! :-)
Edit 2021-11-28: I updated my invisible mat recolor, now it doesn’t contain an empty texture! Please re-download :-D (thank you deedee for the help!)
You can choose between separate and merged files, and they have all been compressed to reduce file size. Remember Apartment Life is required for this default, and you can only have one default for one mat at a time (one for the pink, one for the goth and so on).
No files in this download are dependent on each other, so feel free to pick and choose! (though I would say my mesh default is “needed" for the invisible recolor since I personally don’t see why you would want to use it without the default but you do you). Please let me know if I messed up somewhere!

Here’s a default replacement for EA’s toddler mush and five new custom foods for your toddlers :-)
Four of the custom foods are repo’d to these textures:

Meaning they will pick up EA’s original or any default you might have for them. The fifth one is bienchen83′s default but custom. They are all basegame compatible! I replaced EA’s mush texture with some random texture I found in SimPE and re-sized it to 64x64 (EA’s original was 128x128). I also removed the groundshadow.
The food textures you see in my first preview - with the expection of the spaghetti - are defaults unreleased by me. They are part of my food defaults project I’ve been working on for a while :-)
All custom foods have been translated to every language the sims is available in, and instead of clogging up your fridge pie menu, they have all been placed neatly in a submenu. I don’t speak any other language than Swedish and barerly English, so please let me know if anything is too awkward or incorrect! I used EA’s text lists from the foods in question and copy-pasted + used google translate a bit. I didn’t use EA’s danish translation for the macncheese though, it was originally “junkfood” but I changed it to “Makaroni og ost”, and if you open up my toddler cereal in SimPE and wonder why that one has its own txmt (still repo’d to EA’s texture though) while the others are repo’d to EA’s txmts, it’s because EA’s original txmt for the cereal had a weird lighting.
These edits will not apply to the original macncheese text string/original cereal txmt, only to my toddler foods. They will be included in my future food defaults & fixes though :-)
For some reason, EA have multiple toddler food bowl resources and in-game two bowls are used at the same time. I fixed this and also re-mapped the bowl + edited the texture and re-sized it to 128x128 (EA’s original was 256x256 and I didn’t see the need for such a small bowl to be using a large texture like that). EA made a dirty texture for the bowl as well, but it seems to be unused. I edited the txmt for the dirty texture to point to the clean texture just in case.
As usual, all files have been compressed to reduce file size. Keep in mind you can only have one default for the toddler mush in your downloads folder at a time, and any edit to the text string resource I edited in my mush default will conflict with said default. If you don’t install my mush default but use any of my custom toddler foods, there will be two pie menus on the fridge. In other words; no files in this download are dependent on each other, but I recommend to install my default if you’re planning on using any of my custom toddler foods!
This is my first time making custom foods, so please let me know if you find any issues or GUID conflicts! Also, I don’t think these will corrupt your game if you remove them from your downloads folder (like custom adult foods do) because they don’t seem to create any memories, but I’m not 100% sure!

Edit: I included a second default file for an anon who wanted EA’s original mush texture. I re-sized it to 64x64 though, since EA’s texture is really blurry (so 128x128, the original size, is not necessary). Choose one of the defaults!
Edit #2: okay, so it seems my custom toddler foods won’t serve for some reason. I’ll do my best to try and fix this, but in the meantime, my custom foods are pretty much unusable haha :-(
Edit #3: a big warm thanks to @jellymeduza for fixing my custom toddler foods! :-D please re-download and add two of the four new BHAV files included in the download. Versions compatible with lamare’s accessible toddler high chairs and toddler outings and restaurants are included! Instructions on which to use are included in the download :-D I also fixed my polish translation for the fruit food, so if your game is in polish then please replace that file with the one from the updated archive! (thanks to jellymeduza for the feedback!)

I saw @phoebe-twiddle’s default for the maid outfit and knew exactly what I wanted to do: matching defaults for afbodydressmaid and ambodymanmaid!
NPC Clothing
I got rid of the shorts on EA’s Kitchen&Bath pre-order outfit, extracted the pants from afbodydeliveryperson / ambodydeliveryperson and colored them brown. I also made the gloves yellow, but there is a version included with pink gloves as well (choose only one file!). My default contains two 1024x1024 textures, and both AF and AM share those textures. The shoes are my fixed umbottomwillpants shoes from my pizza default.
This is my first time converting AF -> AM so the mesh is not perfect by any means, but it’s good enough for me. They both have fat morphs, of course! This was also my first time making a fat morph (AM) from scratch. I apologize, it’s not perfect either D-:
I did my best to reduce as much clipping as possible, but there are still some clipping during certain animations between the pants and shirt at the back. There’s also a slight (skin texture) seam/difference between the neck and body on AM. I was thinking of replacing the neck mesh with a “true” AM-neck mesh, but then I was unsure of how I would add the apron mesh back onto it.

In other words; I’m too tired/not sure how to solve these issues, but if anyone wants to try and fix them or know how I could fix them myself, please feel free to do so/let me know! :-D

Vehicle
Included in the default is a simple texture default for the maid car, replacing EA’s pink maid logo with my new logo. I also cleaned up the registration sign and removed the shadow under the side mirror :-) the logo on the engine hood (is it really called hood in English?) has been replaced as well.

My default will not conflict with whattheskell‘s maid completer / male maid separates since @rudhira was kind and threw together my default file the “right” way! Also worth mentioning, EA originally had three different colors for the male maid but my default does not.
All defaults seen in this post have been merged into one single file, and the files have been compressed to reduce file size. If you have any other defaults in your downloads folder for afbodydressmaid, ambodymanmaid or vehiclemaid-main_txtr you have to remove those before installing mine! And remember to choose between yellow or pink gloves :-) if you encounter any problems, let me know!
Edit: I separated the vehicle default for an anon, so if you don’t want to use my NPC outfit defaults but my car default download the “vegankaktus_DEFAULTvehiclemaid” file :-)
Edit #2: if you have the “Buyable Work and NPC Clothes” you will probably see my default with invisible pants. Delete the maid gzps from that file and all is good :-)
Edit 2021-09-11: I updated my vehicle default with the nicer bumper texture from my taxi defaults! here is a quick image showing the new texture:

Improved maxis taxis!
The taxis from bon voyage had nicer details, so I extracted and applied them to the basegame taxi texture, and while I was at it I fixed some other small details. I’m aware that there’s not that big of a difference, but I have an unhealthy relationship with details and an urge to poke at absolutely everything ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
There are two files to choose from; the one with BV at the end requires bon voyage and is defaulting the basegame taxi as well as the bon voyage taxis (far east, mountain, tropic). The one with BG at the end is only defaulting the basegame taxi. Choose one!
Both files have been compressed to reduce file size, and they contain replacements for the taxi’s texture and mesh. Remember you can only have one default for the taxi(s) in your downloads folder at a time! :-)
Let me know if you stumble upon any problems!

A simple custom dog toy using the stick mesh from “play fetch”. The mesh has its own GUID and is repo’d to accessorypettoystick-wood_txtr meaning it will pick up any default you have for it. In my preview I’m using my toy stick default :-)
There’s a pets version and a bon voyage version (pets still needed, of course) but choose only one! The Pets version has the usual squeaky chewing sound, meanwhile the bon voyage version is using the bon voyage animations which has a boney chewing sound (from the white bone sims can dig up) instead of the squeaky sound.
The polycount is 156 polys and you can find it in misc - pets for 0$ :-)

The CEP is required for my recolors to work (+ ep/sp in question) and all files have been compressed to reduce file size :-) as usual, you can choose between merged or separate files.
I added some shadows to my rdr2 recolors to make the egdes (between frame and painting) more soft, but let me know if it looks weird. And please let me know if the darker images are too dark! Then I'll light them up a bit. Also, sorry for the depressing previews lol (; ಠㅂಠ)b

I love Voeille's snow default, but the texture size is 2048x2048 and I don't use anything above 1024x1024 in my game, so I decreased it to 1024x1024 and thought I might as well share my small edit :-)

My default's size: 1024x1024 (x4)
Voille's original default's size: 2048x2048 (x4)
The file has been compressed and this default requires seasons. Don't forget to grab the other gorgeous defaults from Voeille! (the snow default were the only textures above 1024x1024)
I also recommend this snowflake default by @ivy-sims and "no more blue snow" shader fix by @veronavillequiltingbee, though I think everyone might already be using those by now (♡˙ㅂ˙♡)b my preview was taken before I had successfully installed that shader, for anyone wondering!
As usual, let me know if you stumble upon any problems :-) and remember you can only have one default for the snow textures in your downloads folder at a time! The only default for these textures out there I know of is Voeille's original default, so choose between my version or Voeille's original :-)

Here is a small default for the "roachspraycan" sims use when spraying cockroaches. I fixed some small mesh-related problems and gave it a new texture. The file has been compressed and both the mesh and texture are the same polys (566) and texture size (128x128) as EA's original.

Also - no, I don't agree with killing cockroaches but ts2 is a game and I can't controll townies who kill them with spray and I hated the bright colors, hence this default :-)






Finally! Here's my default for the delivery NPC \(★ㅂ★)/
NPC Clothing + Cap
As usual, the very first thing I did was remove EA's horrendous shadows (; ಠㅂಠ) then I changed color, replaced the logo on the cap + clothing with my new one. I replaced the logo on the chest with an employee bagde instead though (I snatched that from the pizza NPC's texture -which I have a default for here if you're interested!). I also improved EA's AF fat morph quite a bit so now it looks better around the boob and butt area (it legit looked like EA took the naked mesh and just.. slapped the shoes on). I made the waist wider on the AF mesh (thin+fat) since it looked waaay too small. I also fixed some weird pointy vertexes on the AM (thin+fat) mesh. Unfortunately, the bagde looks a bit stretched on the AF fat morph and I couldn't fix it :-(
Vehicle
I changed color (which I snatched from TNW's default) and made a new logo using resources from EA's old logo :-D unfortunately, one side will show the text flipped and I couldn't fix this because of how the texture looks (trust me, it looked ridiculous when I tried fixing it!). Also, keep in mind that if you use any of psychosim's grungy vehicle defaults from this post with my delivery vehicle default, the insides will be grungy on this vehicle as well. This is because all of EA's trucks share those textures, which psychosim replaces in both their defaults.
Shopping Basket
I also gave the shopping basket a new look + removed the groundshadow. EA's basket had sugar, milk, eggs, ice cream(?), sausage and some sort of meat but in my basket you have bread, milk, bananas, cereal, cabbage and macncheese! The basket is also new, I re-used simi-simmer's shopping basket but re-made the file (since simi deleted the download because of problems with the default). Worth mentioning is that my basket default now uses two textures, instead of one.
The textures are all EA's original, but whenever I share my food defaults I'll update this default!
EA's basket:

My default:
Polys: 1583
Textures: 2 (256x512 & 256x256)
Misc Deco
I repo'd chimerical's extracted boxes (they are found inside the delivery vehicle) to "vehicledeliverytruck-box_txtr" since their texture was a copy of EA's texture, and if things can be repo'd - then I need them repo'd :-D I did edit the "largerboxes1" mesh and deleted some accidental faces chimerical forgot to remove (going from 92 to 88 polys).
Remember you can't have both my version and chimerical's original in your downloads folder at the same time! Choose between my edited versions or their original :-)

The texture sizes and polys are the same as EA's original (with the exception of my basket replacement) and the NPC clothing, hair, and vehicle have been merged into one file, the basket default is in a separate file. All files have been compressed to reduce file size, and remember you can only have one default for the delivery NPC outfit and vehicle in your downloads folder at a time! And please let me know if you stumble upon any problems :-)
Edit: I updated the clothing preview as it was an old one (it didn't show my mesh edits). Unfortunately I think the image won't update in reblogs? And the small pointy vertex on the AM mesh (still seen in my preview) has been fixed in my default!

I love tsld's chess default, but the polycount is very high (the pieces range between rougly 600-900 polys per piece plus a texture size of 2048x1024) so I thought, why don't I give it a try and well, here is my take on a chess default (♡˙ㅂ˙♡)b
This is a simple txmt edit (it's literally 1kb!) were I removed the reflection and changed color from gold and turquoise(?) to black & white, which I think EA originally intended the colors to be - since the txmts are named "chessboardpiece_white" and "chessboardpiece_black" :-D
BlueBlood220 has a very similiar default here, but I found the white to be too bright and the black too black (and their default still have the reflection).
Oh and also, based on how what lighting mod you use (if, you use any!) and what kind of lamp/outside light there is, the colors will look different. In my preview I'm using a yellow-ish light (and I'm using the cinema secrets lighting mod) hence the white pieces looking a bit yellow. In daylight they will look more white :-)
The file has been compressed to reduce file size, and remember you can only have one default for the chess pieces in your downloads folder at a time! In other words, if you use any of the defaults I linked above you have to remove them before installing mine :-)

I made some changes to the meshes (made the female waist wider, hands smaller, male hair bigger, fixed some mesh clipping and edited the face texture quite a bit).

My texture size: 256x128 (I did this so I could use another skintone)
I have a toy default here and a (shitty) dollhouse replacement here if you're interested! I'm working on a new dollhouse replacement actually, but I'm not yet done with it :-(
The file has been compressed to reduce file size and replaces all 4 dolls (both mesh and texture). Remember to remove any other dollhouse dolls default you have installed before using mine!
