The medicine cabinet which came with Apartment life has been in every house I've ever created. I love it, but the texture is ugly af - not gonna lie. I understand why though, the cabinet is open for about 2 seconds when you use it, so no need for a higher resolution texture, right? I can't agree
Anyway, I improved the texture and I think it's better, so I decided to share it in case anyone else out there dies a little inside whenever your sims opens the blurry cabinet of doom.
There are two files available for download:
"vegankaktus_DEFAULTmedicinecabinet.rar" contains one .package file and is a default replacement for both medicine cabinets' textures. You can only have ONE default replacement for them at a time in your downloads folder! Either replace it with mine or download my improved textures as recolors.
"vegankaktus_RECmedicinecabinet.rar" contains one .package file and is a recolor with my improved textures for both medicine cabinets.
My toothbrush and face-wash bottle you see in the previews are not affected by this default replacement (nor is the toothpaste).
The files are merged and compressed :^) If you notice any mistakes, please let me know and I'll fix it asap!

Diaries! Dagböcker! and that's the only languages I know lol
First of all, you must have @midgethetree‘s Re-Enabled Diary Textures for your sims to actually use the diary's texture as a diary. Otherwise they will be writing in the skill book. My default replacement will still work, but they won't use it. This pen fix is also a must-have in my opinion (but not necessary for my diary). My replacement is unisex, meaning that all genders will use the same texture. I haven't created gendered diaries (like EA originally did and unlike EA, I hate gendered colors) and that's why you must choose a color and only install ONE of my files!

It says "diary" on the book in simlish, however, in-game it will be read backwards, "yraid" lol. I was too lazy to fix that ^^; this is now fixed! As seen below:

As usual, you can only have one diary default replacement installed at a time.

I’ve been using dharden’s default replacement of Michelle’s remapped mesh of SnowStorm’s recolorable dollhouse (woah, what a sentence). I’ve also been using rebecah’s adult enabled dollhouse which is a clone of EA’s one, and therefore adds another dollhouse to the game instead of editing the original one. I wanted to apply her changes to the original dollhouse and at the same time use dharden’s default, so with the kind help of @hugelunatic I did it. I edited the texture and then asked Michelle if I could include her remapped mesh in my replacement, and she kindly let me.
So short said, my default replacement includes: - My retexture - Michelle’s remapped mesh (using dharden’s replacement) - SnowStorm’s recolorable dollhouse My bad! SnowStorm's dollhouse is not included in my download, you’ll want gdayars CEP-extra to make the dollhouse recolorable. And if the recolors don’t show up, follow this short tutorial by HL. - rebecah’s adult-enabled-edits
Since this is a default replacement, you can only have one in your download folder, if you have any other replacements for the dollhouse you need to take them out before using this. The dolls used when playing are not affected by this replacement, but I recommend these by @decat2 (and lightned up by @keoni-chan) Edit: I shared my take on a doll default here! :-D

I personally don’t like EA’s toys and the only DR I liked was this pony by bienchen83. I then decided to do my own, and well, this was much easier than I thought so here they are! Remember you can only have one default replacement per toy. In other words, one for the pony, one for the car and so on.
Pony: I used the DR from bienchen83 but retextured it, edited the mesh a little bit, fixed the shadow and also deleted unnecessary files inside the package so now it’s smaller and cleaner.
Car: replaced with a car by @veranka-downloads (which you can find here). I edited the shadow a little bit.
Rocketship: replaced with a train by @veranka-downloads (which you can find here). I edited the shadow a little bit.
Boat: replaced with a llama by @veranka-downloads (which you can find here).
I changed the car and llama’s “hand-position” to the pony one, that way they fit the hands better when used. You can download them individually or all in one merged package file. All files have been compressed to reduce file size. I think that’s all? If you run into any issues, please let me know!

You know, I like the newspaper NPC in ts2 but the colors. What was EA thinking? and don’t even get me started on the shoes..
I shoeswapped tfbodypaperdelivery and tmbodypaperdelivery with shoes from EA’s tmbottomboardshorts (“converted” to females by me) and also edited the clothes + cap’s textures. I disliked EA’s hair, so I’ve also included a hair default replacement for tmhairhatballcapnpc and tfhairhatballcapnpc (which only affects the newspaper delivery’s hair). This default is a mesh edit by me of rented-space‘s 3t2 baseball cap, but with EA’s NPC cap (using fanseelamb‘s edited mesh on the male one). There were a lot of hair recolors/systems available for this mesh, so I’ve included many options but you have to choose one of them since they are all defaults. Of course, if you would like EA’s original hair you have that as an option as well.
I’ve changed and fixed things in both textures and meshes, therefore there’s some stuff I need to explain. This might be confusing since I have to use the word “newspaper” a lot (I’ve re-written this part so many times now lol). I tried my best to not make it confusing but if you really don’t understand or there’s some part you can’t grasp, then feel free to message me.
I’ll put the rest under the cut, since it’s quite long :-)
NPC Clothing
Fixed some clipping in the meshes
Erased some weird shadows on the clothes’ texture
Fixed the socks’ edges + erased EA’s horrendous shadows under the shorts + on the socks as well
Shoeswapped with shoes from tmbottomboardsshorts
For some reason, the socks on the male mesh is noticeable lower than on the female mesh. This bothered me so I edited the mapping on the male mesh to make the socks a bit higher, but this resulted in the skin’s highlight being moved a bit upwards. I personally don’t mind this, but I’ve included two files so you can choose if you want this change or not (meaning you have to choose one of them). I did it this way since I found it unneccessary to add a whole new texture just bc of some socks haha. You can compare them here.
EA originally added the texture for the newspapers in the bag on the back onto the clothing texture. What I did instead was making them a separate group, remapped them a bit and then texture referenced them to newspaper-inside-pages-clean-01_txtr (why I texture referenced it to the inside page is because I couldn’t get it to look good using the outside texture unfortunately)
If you choose to use my newspaper texture default replacement (for the object), the NPC clothing’s newspapers in the bag will automatically pick up the newspaper default replacement (like seen on the image). This means that you can use my NPC clothing default without using my newspaper texture default if you would like to. It will then use EA’s newspaper texture (or whatever default you have for newspaper-inside-pages-clean-01_txtr). If you on the other hand only install my newspaper texture default (for the object) and another NPC newspaper delivery clothing default (or EA’s for that matter), the newspapers in the bag on the clothing will not be using my newspaper texture (since it’s not a separate group and will be using the texture from the clothes’ texture).
NPC Hair
Included in the download is a default replacement for the newspaper delivery NPC’s hair. It’s a mesh edit by me of rented-space‘s 3t2 baseball cap, but with EA’s NPC cap (using fanseelamb‘s edited mesh on the male one). The hair textures were all 1024x1024, but I decreased them down to 512x512 since I tbh didn’t notice any quality loss but if you really want them in 1024x1024 you can easily replace the textures in SimPE. Also, the hair has some minor transparency issues but nothing too noticable, plus, the newspaper delivery’s hair is always blond and the transparency issues are nearly invisible on the blond hair.
There’s also a texture replacement for the caps included. I texture referenced the cap’s texture (on my mesh edit default that is) to uuhairhatballcapnpc-fblond_txtr and uuhairhatballcapnpc-mblond_txtr. This means that if you use my new NPC hair default, you will still need my cap texture replacement file, otherwise the caps will not be in my new color. In other words: both files are supposed to be used together. If you on the other hand would like to have EA’s original hair but my new cap, only install my cap texture replacement.
Since I texture referenced the cap’s texture, it is possible to use my hair mesh default replacement with any default for uuhairhatballcapnpc-fblond_txtr and uuhairhatballcapnpc-mblond_txtr you might have, it will automatically pick up your default (or EA’s original for that matter).
Newspaper Texture
My newspaper default replacement replaces EA’s boring monochrome textures with new, colorful pictures (+ nicer weather icons)! Textures defaulted are:

I’ve enlarged the clean pages (by using this) so the textures are now 512x512 instead of 256x256. The dirty pages are still 256x256 though as I didn’t see a need for them to be bigger. You can compare EA’s textures with mine here, the dirty textures can be compared here, newsprintparticle here and newspaper_printing here.
I have absolutely no idea when or how “newsprintparticle” and “newspaper_printing” are used, but I replaced them with colorful versions anyway. If you know, please enlighten me!

@itsdiamondeyesuniverse has a mod here which randomizes the NPC newspaper delivery hair (+ others) and smithycpl has a more realistic newspaper mod here which might be of interest to you. None of these are required for my defaults to work (but they are compatible), I just felt like recommending them :-)
As usual, if you have any defaults in your downloads folder defaulting the same thing as any of my files, you have to remove them before installing mine. If you stumble upon any problems or such, let me know! All files have been compressed to reduce file size. No merged versions available this time, to reduce any more confusion haha.

UPDATE 18/06: updated the files to make the hat not covered in snow during winter (cloned from Nopke’s fix, you’ll still need that fix as well). If you don’t use Nopke’s fix and want the hat to be covered in snow during winter, get one of the files from the old zip file. The new updated files are in the "vegankaktus_penguinDEFAULT_updated".
You ever look at a penguin and think “this penguin needs a hat and some clothes”? ... No? Well I did >:-D with this default replacement you get just that - a penguin with hat and clothes! Many problems and errors later, (this makes it sound like I’ve been working on it for ages, but it’s literally been a day lmao) I present to you: my penguin default replacement!
Included in the download are three four files, but you have to choose one of them since they are all defaults. If you already have a penguin default in your downloads folder, you have to remove it before installing mine. The only ones I know of are this and this though. I also recommend this fix by Nopke. It’s compatible with my DR (but not required)!
All files have been compressed to reduce file size. If you experience anything weird when using my default, let me know!

I’m back with another default! This time it’s for the mail delivery, and just like with my newspaper delivery defaults I have changed and fixed things in here as well. I’ll do my best to explain everything.
EA did a much better job with this clothing than with the newspaper delivery’s outfit, I’ll give them that. But once again; what was EA thinking when choosing shoes?? They are awful. Not anymore though! I shoeswapped afbodymaildelivery and ambodymaildelivery with MDP’s 4t2 shoes from here (recolored black by me) but with EA’s socks, bc.. idk. I’ll put the rest under the cut since I can’t keep it short ahah
NPC Clothing
Got rid of all shadows (AF+AM)
Made the color a bit more vibrant
Removed the logo on the shirt (AF+AM)
Improved the logo on the bag (AF+AM)
Fixed the logo on the cap (AF+AM)
Fixed the stripes on the shorts (AF)
Fixed the shirt (AM)
Fixed the belt’s “edges” to make them blend in more nicely (AF)
*Removed ribbon (AF) + added ribbon (AM)
Remapped the shirt a bit to better fit the non-ribbon version (AF) but it looks better imo with the ribbon as well so I kept it in both versions
Edited and added more details (belt etc) to the bump-maps (AF+AM)
*In other words, you can choose if you want the ribbon or not.
Another thing I’ve changed is the bag. It’s now a separate group and has it’s own texture (aubodymaildelivery-bag_txtr). I fixed the logo in Photoshop, but SimPE totally destroyed it again when importing the texture. It really bothered me, so I decided to do it like this instead so the logo can keep it’s quality. I also had to increase the size of uuhairhatballcapnpc-mblack and uuhairhatballcapnpc-fblack from 512x512 to 1024x1024 for SimPE to not ruin the logo on the cap as well. uuhairhatballcapnpc-mblack and uuhairhatballcapnpc-fblack is included in the clothing default, so it’s not a separate file.
NPC Hair
Included in the download is an optional hair default for afhairhatballcapnpc and amhairhatballcapnpc by me (replacing the hair for the mail delivery only). It’s a mashup (meshup? :p) of EA’s pixie hair and EA’s NPC cap. The male pixie hair is a conversion by Andie, and the cap on the male mesh is fansleelamb’s fixed male mesh. Andie’s TOU is to not restribute their meshes, but they haven’t been active since 2011 so I’m just going to cross my fingers and hope that they won’t haunt me down for this hahah. I had to get rid of the hair animation though, since it behaved really weird when I didn’t. I don’t have the motivation to dig into this problem deeper, so no animated hair it is. Sorry!
Unfortunately, you have to have university for my hair DR to work (I believe?). I extracted the resources from University, since I couldn’t get the hair default to work with the ones extracted from basegame (plus, de GPZS looked very different in those, and I wasn’t sure on how to edit them properly). I’m not sure though, as the files seems to have the same numbers, instances etc. So if anyone of you doesn’t have University, please try out my hair mesh replacement and let me know if it works! And if it doesn’t, anyone who wants to make it BG-compatible is more than welcome to do so, or if you know how I can make it myself I would be more than happy to learn from you.
The cap on my hair default is texture referenced to uuhairhatballcapnpc-mblack and uuhairhatballcapnpc-fblack, which is included in the clothing default.
There’s also three versions of this hair default available, which means you have to choose one. One of the files is texture referenced to EA’s afhairpixie textures from Freetime, the other one is texture referenced to EA’s afhairpixie from OFB (which I haven’t been able to test if it works as it should, so please let me know if it doesn’t!) and the last one is a custom version. The custom version is not texture referenced to any of EA’s txtrs, so for those of you who do not have OFB or Freetime or simply have a mesh default for afhairpixie you don’t want to delete, this is the file you want :-)
This means that if you have any texture default replacement for afhairpixie, my repositoried (aka my Freetime/OFB files) default will pick up that. I’ve made + listed some afhairpixie texture defaults here which are compatible with my mesh replacement. The ones I used in my preview here is deedee-sims recolors on shinasims’ alpha edit, which you can find in the link above. Since my custom version is not referenced to EA’s textures, you will have to swap textures in SimPE yourself if you wish to use any other textures than EA’s or shinasims’ alpha edit of EA’s textures (which are the custom versions I’ve included). If you don’t use SimPE and would like to get help with swapping textures, let me know! I’ll be more than happy to help you.
The female mesh pixie hair unfortunately has some small transparency issues in certain angles (which is weird, since EA’s original doesn’t have that). If anyone would like to try and fix it, you’re more than welcome to try and do so!
Bills Texture
Included in the download is also an optional, improved default replacement for the bills! Textures defaulted are:

The textures are still the same size (512x256) but I re-wrote most of the text to make it less blurry (more like, smashed random keys on my keyboard lmao). I’ve also replaced the stamps with colorful pictures. Some years ago, in Sweden we had pride stamps and I really liked those, so I thought it would be nice to have them here as well! I’m not part of the LGBTQ+ community (or at least, I don’t think so. But I mean, Bae Doona has tbh got me questioning my sexuality, not gonna lie) so I hope I don’t offend anyone by using it here. I totally support the LGBTQ+ community! Therefore I hope this comes accross as me being an ally, not “using” the flag or anything :-)

This is a small default replacement for “tv moderate” from basegame. I was browsing around in SimPE when I stumbled upon a texture called tvmoderate-dvds_txtr which seemed to be unused. I’m guessing EA originally planned on making the dvds a separate mesh group with its own texture, but for some reason they decided to scrap that idea and merge it with the “tvmoderate_stand” group. The dvds’ unused texture is notably less blurry than the texture they decided to slap on tvmoderate-tv_txtr, so I extracted, remapped, made a txmt for the texture, fixed some clipping while I was at it and voila! :-)
The file has been compressed to reduce file size and if you have any texture default replacement for the moderate tv you can use that one and mine, but it won’t affect the dvds. If you have any mesh default replacement though, they are not compatible and you’ll have to choose between that one or mine. (I don’t know if any mesh default replacement exists for this tv though)

EA’s birthday horn texture is... something, lol. So here is a small texture replacement (it’s literally less than 2kb!) for the horn. It’s not perfect, it’s a bit wobbly here and there but it’s good enough for me and surerly better than EA’s imo :p

This post has been in my drafts for over a year now. I’m not sure why it took me this long to share it. Usually the previews are the problem for me, but I already had those done?? (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`)
Anyhow! I love the Nintendo Switch, and when I found out it had been converted to ts2 I just knew I had to turn it into a default replacement for the handheld game. EA’s original mesh had a polycount of 168, meanwhile the nintendo had a whopping 1546. I got rid of the buttons so now it’s down to 724, still high (compared to EA’s) but I don’t know how to decrease it any further. If anyone wants to give it a try, please go ahead! And if you know how, please teach me :-D
I re-made the buttons so they’re now in simlish and re-mapped the mesh a bit. The default replacement is red&blue, but I’ve included a grey recolor inside the download. If you want to use the grey recolor, you have to install jacobaoconnor’s CEP-extra for the handheld game. (The CEP is now included in my download. Thank you! :-D) If you don’t care for it to be recolorable, only install vegankaktus_DEFAULThandheldgame. The default replacement and recolor goes in your downloads folder as usual. Also, @jellymeduza shared a fix for the handheld game here (scroll down) which I highly recommend downloading :-)
This default requires University and remember you can only have one default replacement for the handheld game in your downloads folder at a time. All files have been compressed to reduce file size. If you run into any issues, let me know!
Edit: I also recommend downloading Graverobber’s vending koisk fix here! It’s the file called “GR_DefaultVendingKioskFix.package” you want :-) otherwise the vendingkoisk will look a bit weird with my default installed :-)
Edit #2: Me and @yosarna-sims discovered that if you have Pineappleforest’s water tub (the BV repo’d one) in your game, my default is flashing blue. Pineappleforest has fixed their file now though (thank you! :-D) so if you’re using their BV repo’d water tub, you should re-download it.
Edit #3: @jellymeduza has updated their custom cellphone mod to include my default as a custom handheld game! Thank you! :-D I also forgot to mention that as seen in jellymeduza’s post, my switch is nearly below ground level when placed. I unfortunately don’t know how to fix this, but you can grab it if you zoom in :-)

What! Defaults from me two days in a row?! I swear I’m okay lol :-D
EA’s watering can is pretty cute, but it bothered me a lot that the front part didn’t have any holes for the water to pour out of.. Hence this default! :-D I re-mapped the mesh, fixed the texture and gave the white part a new texture + holes.
The file has been compressed to reduce file size, and remember you can only have one default for the watering can in your downloads folder at a time. If you encounter any issues, let me know!

You know that crappy digital camera from bon voyage, which isn’t even digital since you have to send your photos off to develop them? Yeah that camera.
I replaced this sad blob of pixels with the (very!) pretty analogue camera from the paparazzi outfit (from seasons). EA even made a separate texture for the analogue camera so I’m surprised they didn’t use it.
There are two versions to choose from and bon voyage is required for both. If you have seasons installed, you can choose to use the repo’d default (it’s repositoried to the uubodyjournalistcamera-black texture). If you don’t have seasons installed (or for some reason just don’t want the repositoried version) choose the bon voyage file.
Both files have been compressed to reduce file size, and remember you can only have one default for the digital camera in your downloads folder at a time. If you run into any issues, let me know!

Known Issue: when sims use the camera, for some reason it “flips” in their hand first. This has nothing to do with my default, it’s just the way EA.. decided to design the camera interaction I guess haha? The pizza delivery NPC has bothered me for ages with its screamingly red color. Also, what’s up with all the different logos? One logo on the car, another one on the pizza box and a THIRD one on the clothes???

NPC Clothing
I shoeswapped afbodypizzadelivery and ambodypizzadelivery with shoes from umbottomwillpants (”converted” to female by me). The shoe meshes are similiar, but not the same! I fixed the shoes’ texture as well to make them match better. In addition to this, I removed shadows, changed colors and fixed a black spot on the AF mesh.
I tried to fix the mapping on the female mesh (on the back) but I couldn’t fix it completely unfortunately - I’m talking about how the logo on the female mesh is a bit “squished” compared to the male mesh. I removed the logo on the front and replaced the one on the back with my new one. The simlish reads: “at your door!”
I uploaded my fixed shoe texture (.png) and two .ms3d files (AF/AM) here, for anyone who would like to use these shoes on other outfits!
Vehicle
I separated the sign on the car, re-mapped it, gave it its own (+new!) texture and also fixed the edges. This default is compatible with any texture default you might have for the pizza vehicle (vehiclepizza-surface_txtr), but it won’t affect the sign. It’s not compatible with dharden’s clean pizza car replacement though, since they also edited the shpe. I personally like the dirty car, but I included a version with the gold/clean texture from Michelle since not everyone might be a fan of the dirty look.
If you use my version, remove dharden’s!
Pizzas
I’ve edited both pizza textures a bit. I made the pepperoni one less red and increased saturation on the combo pizza. (It’s not that big of a difference - I'm aware, but they irked me!)
Before you say “two pizzas?!” - I know I know!! :-D when I extracted the pizza texture I came across a second unused pizza texture. I made a thread over at MTS about this which simler90 saw and kindly fixed EA’s mistake, so make sure to get their fix here! :-D
Pizza Box
I also defaulted the pizza box. I’ve never seen a white pizza box in my entire life, we only have brown ones here in Sweden - so brown it is! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
to clarify: the pizza box and pizza defaults are in the same file - if you choose to download my defaults separately (vegankaktus_DEFAULTpizzasbox.package)
I also repositoried labine730's buyable pizza box to “foodpizzabox-insideoutside” (it will pick up my default now, or any other default you have for the pizza box. And if none: EA’s original texture) for an anon, and made carvernosims' extracted basegame items compatible with it. It's the file "functionalpizzabox+extracteditems.zip". I also made labine730's pizza box available on community lots + edited the catalogue so now it's found in both kitchen - appliances and kitchen - general since I read about people having problems finding it.

I shared a pizza NPC default replacement about a month ago, and here is my default-addon for the chinese delivery!
NPC Clothing
Since the pizza and chinese delivery NPC share mesh, you have to download my pizza NPC mesh replacement for this to show correctly :-)
If you download my pizza defaults as separates, it’s the “vegankaktus_DEFAULTaubodypizzadelivery.package” file you need.
Vehicle
I replaced the sign on the car with my re-mapped sign and gave it a new texture. Since the chinese delivery vehicle doesn’t have its own (car) texture, it’s compatible with my pizza car replacement. And if you choose to use the clean default from that post, the chinese delivery vehicle will pick up that default too.
Chinese Food Box
I replaced the logo on the food boxes, gave the food a new texture (also re-sized it to 1024x512 instead of EA’s original 256x128) and fixed a small mesh error on the opened food box.
I repositoried labine730′s buyable chinese food to foodtakeout-materials_txtr, which means it will now pick up my default (or any other default for the food boxes you might have, and if you have none: EA’s original) and enabled it on community lots + changed the catalogue to both kitchen - appliances and kitchen - general since I read about people having problems finding it. I didn’t need to edit carnevorsims’ extracted basegame items this time, since it didn’t include the chinese food. In other words: labine’s buyable chinese food is compatible with carnevorsims’ extracted items (both my edit and their original).

This is a small (it’s literally 3kb!) default replacement for the baby bottle (and smartmilk) using txmt resources from ATS’ baby bottle for @dinalandgraab :-)
I made the yellow rubber top (is there even a word for that part?) a bit more vibrant and while I was at it, I edited @midgethetree’s vampire baby bottle mod to fit my default + gave it its own rubber texture. Midge’s mod is not necessary for my default to work, but it requires nightlife (and other mods from Midge - 1, 2) since that’s when vampires got added to the game.
All files have been compressed to reduce file size and remember you can only have one default replacement for the baby bottle in your downloads folder at a time! Let me know if you encounter any issues :-)

I can’t possibly be the only one who hated EA’s color choices for the toy oven, right? (; ಠㅂಠ) and the horribly low-res muffin? So here! Have some defaults for the toy oven and its muffin-related stuff :-)
I re-mapped the muffin pan and ingredients bag. I also gave them new textures (the ingredients bag now has its own texture and is no longer repo’d to toyoven-surfaces_txtr). I re-sized the muffin textures to 128x128 (EA’s original were 64x64) and gave them a new cooked and burned texture. They are compatible with Rosebine’s re-sized muffin!
The pink measuring cup children use when baking muffins is repo’d to toyoven-surfaces_txtr, which means that it will pick up my default replacement as well :-)
You can choose between separate and merged defaults, and all files have been compressed to reduce file size. If you have any defaults in your downloads folder defaulting the same thing as my defaults, you have to remove those before installing mine. Let me know if you encounter any issues :-)
If you choose to download my defaults as separate files, the muffin pan is merged with the toy oven (otherwise it would look weird) and if you don’t install my ingredients bag default, it will use part of the toy oven’s texture, like EA's original does.
Oh and also! Forgot to mention, I recommend sunrader’s “fix” and itsdiamondeyesuniverse’s more muffin options! :-D

What’s that you say? IT’S A MUFFIN ON A STICK! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)b
Until I figure out how to make my great idea come to life, I’ll share my default for the “leg of a lamb” sims feed the cowplant.
There are two versions to choose from and University is required for both. If you have pets installed, you can choose to use the repo’d default (it’s repositioried to “accessorypettoystick_txtr”) and if you’re using my default toy stick, it will pick up that default as well. If you don’t have pets installed, it’s the file with “_uni” at the end you want. The stick texture in the university version is from my toy stick default, since I didn’t see a reason to use EA’s original texture.
The muffin is repo’d to “toyovenmuffin-surfaces-cooked_txtr” (in both files) from basegame, which makes these files very small. If you use my default for the muffin, both files will pick up that as well (in my previews both my defaults for the muffin and stick is used). Yay for repo’d stuff! :-D
The muffin looks a bit off-center in my previews, but I’ve fixed that now! I was just too lazy to re-do the previews, hope you understand (; ´༎ຶㅂ༎ຶ`)b
Remember you can only have one default replacement for the leg of a lamb (😢) in your downloads folder at a time! Both files have been compressed to reduce file size, and do let me know if you encounter any issues :-)

This has been on my to-do-list for ages. I can’t say I’m 100% happy with the result, but for now I’m okay with how it looks. Otherwise I would poke at this for all eternity (; ಠㅂಠ)b
This is an edit of @hugelunatic‘s CEP-extra (I fell in love with that bowl!) which means this should be placed in your Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\zCEP-EXTRA folder. You still have to download HugeLunatic’s HL_CEP_bg_fruitBowl-programfiles.package file though from the link above.
Edit: sorry if I was a bit unclear! In other words: my file (vegankaktus_HL_CEP_bg_fruitBowl.package) should replace HugeLunatic’s original file (HL_CEP_bg_fruitBowl.package) in the document’s CEP-extra folder. HL_CEP_bg_fruitBowl-programfiles.package file is still needed! And should be placed in the program files folder :-)
I extracted the pineapple + pear from TNW’s 3t2 fruit hat (I edited the pineapple texture a bit to remove most of the shadows). The apples and oranges are extracted from seasons. The bananas are by soloriya (warning T$R) which @alienpod kindly extracted for me<3
I also included 6 recolors of the bowl and 1 green recolor for the bananas. Since I couldn’t fit everything into one texture (milkshape’s scale system in the texture coordinate editor is not my best friend) and ts2 can only have two subsets, I decided the second subset would be the bananas. If I ever figure out how to scale mappings easily without any distortion, I’ll try again. But for now, this is the best I can do :-)
My bowl recolors can be used with HugeLunatic’s original CEP-extra (just skip my banana recolor and you’re good to go) if someone would like to use my recs but not my new default.
All files have been compressed to reduce file size, and for my recolors you can choose between merged and separate files. The CEP is required for this to work, and remember you can’t have any other default or CEP-extra for the fruit bowl in your downloads folder while using mine! Let me know if you encounter any issues :-)

I’m not sure if anyone else would be interested in this default, but eh, I’ll share it just in case :-)
This is a texture default replacement for the food boxes from Pets. I used the textures from EA’s “posterpetfood” and made the food boxes a bit more detailed ( ´༎ຶㅂ༎ຶ`)b
I also edited Shakeshaft’s pet food deco (warning T$R). I edited the sale value from 0 to 20 and edited the catalogue to general - pets instead of deco - misc. I also repo’d the mesh to "accessorypetfoodbox-catdog” and made two recolors (merged into one package) which are repo’d to "accessorypetfoodbox-mammal” and “accessorypetfoodbox-bird”. You can’t have both my edit and Shakeshaft’s original mesh in your downloads folder, so choose one! My recolors will work with Shakeshaft’s original, if you for some reason don’t want my edited version but my recolors. My default is not necessary for my edit of Shakeshaft’s mesh and said edit is not necessary for my default to work. Pick and choose what you want!
And don’t worry, you can still recolor Shakeshaft’s mesh using my file and existing recolors will work :-) I did edit the mapping a bit (to get rid of the “opened” texture) so recolors not based on EA’s texture might look weird.
As usual, remember you can only have one default replacement for the pet food boxes in your downloads folder at a time! All files have been compressed and do let me know if you encounter any issues!
