tomorrow is xiao's birthday! how should i celebrate?

i've heard that japanese names often reflect the parents' wishes for the child, so i wanted the name i gave him to reflect my wishes for his future, too!

i'm copying and pasting this from a comment i made under sigewinne's drip marketing because i think tumblr needs to hear it, too:

sigewinne is a grown woman and wriothesley treats her as such.

sigewinne is the head nurse of a prison, meaning she more than likely has a medical degree or some other high-level certification.

sigewinne only looks the way she does because she's a member of a fantasy race based around sea bunnies, and most, if not all other members of that race you encounter throughout fontaine are homeowners, such as mamere and the other residents of merusea village, and/or have full-time jobs, such as the aquabus operators, front-desk workers, and even police officers, meaning they're all adults and are widely regarded as such by the people of fontaine.

sigewinne is not a child just because she's short and has exaggerated moe proportions. she's 500+ years old.

wriothesley is not sigewinne's surrogate dad; he's her coworker. sigewinne does not need a father figure, much less one she's known since HE was a teenager. please stop infantilizing her.

by the way, i forgor to post this when it happened, but i made a friend in co-op the other day and we explored fontaine together and had a little xiaolumi photoshoot!

today is my birthday! ૮₍´｡ᵔ ꈊ ᵔ｡`₎ა

i had a pretty good birthday! i had sushi for lunch and then my mom, aunt, brother, sister-in-law, and i all went to olive garden for dinner and i had chicken alfredo, salad, breadsticks, and raspberry lemonade, and my mom also made chocolate cupcakes with nutella frosting. my brother and sister-in-law got me a new frog plushie because they know how much i love frogs, but kuronekocon, build-a-bear, and the xiao shirt and phone case were all early birthday gifts from my mom, so i kinda got spoiled this year. 🥰

i did get very overstimulated, though, not only because it was noisy at the restaurant, but because my aunt wouldn't stop talking for the entire car ride, so i crashed basically the minute i got home. ^^;

speaking of knc, here are some of the things i got and photos i took there!
