I haven’t drawn anything since I moved last month, so here’s a sketch of Toph Beifong as a punk rocker. Because why not.

"We kind of stitched [Eddie's vest] so it would look like he did it himself ... We added a belt buckle that has a handcuff on it ... We gave him a chain on the leather of his jacket, like maybe the zipper broke, and he tried to close it. So we really focused on little details."

Inaugural post! I make chainmail and stuff! This photo is old, but it's iconic. Stainless steel scales linked together to make a vest. The detail strip down the middle is yellow brass, showing a bit of tarnish.
This vest was originally made by another chainmail crafter (I don't actually know who), to match a tail that I made for a commissioner some 4 years ago. The vest had some issues, especially at the side closures, and the commissioner asked me to work out a solution to those, and expand the vest further towards the waist. I may also need to reinforce some spots up in the shoulders, since it was woven with aluminum rings, where I myself mostly only trust steel in high-load spots.
This is still in progress, but I figured I'd show the photos that I've got so far. The final will be a bit longer than this, and the edges will be tidied up.

Here’s some preliminary photos of a Lucario costume I’m making. The goal is a gijinka style outfit--not trying to make a fursuit, but instead making an outfit that translates the main character design elements into clothing and accessories.
The components shown so far are: mask/hood, harness with chest spike, and fuzzy vest.
I started this for Halloween, because even if parties can’t happen it’s good for me to have a deadline in mind when making new stuff. I’ve got a few more pieces planned, and getting nice photos right now is a bit tricky, but I'll be able to show more updates to this outfit eventually.
