Wacky Kim OWBC - Tumblr Posts

The Kims are technically doing an Officially Wacky Boolprop Challenge, but I kind of decided to throw most of the rules out the window. (Specifically this time around, I threw out the “no service sims” rule. These guys need a maid, a gardener, and a nanny. You will see why.)
Currently, the family consists of Cynthia, her husband Robert, their adopted son Justin, their newborn daughter Barbara, and the family dog, Gabby. Cynthia is kind of conniving. Robert is madly in love with her and otherwise kind of a vacant derp. Justin is the only one with his act together (and he’s 11). Barbara is too new to have a personality yet. Gabby the dog is a dog.

This was the state of the household when I opened the lot. Justin fell asleep in the couch, his parents just got done trying for another baby, their current baby woke up stinky, and the dog slept through it all.

The Kims aren’t the most hands-on parents. Robert mostly complained about how stinky little Barb was. I’m fairly sure I had to tell Cynthia to take care of the issue. How these two are going to manage having two more after Barb I don’t know...

Justin isn’t eligible to be the family heir, since he was adopted, but he’s got an important job to do anyways. He is the dog trainer. He worked with Gabby to learn to speak that morning before going outside to ask his mom something.

Justin wanted to get another dog so that Gabby could have a boyfriend. He convinced Cynthia to go with him to the pet store to buy another Dalmatian.

Meet Flash - a Dalmatian like Gabby but with a slightly different pattern. He wasn’t a big fan of Cynthia, but he and Justin got on right away.

Flash warmed up to Cynthia a bit on the way home. He and Gabby seem to get along (although I noticed that she would Challenge him on some things - like which dish he could eat out of).

Good job, Robert. Step over the baby to make your sandwich. Nice parenting.

Cynthia picked up the baby and played with her for a bit...and then put her right back down on the floor. A+ parenting here, guys. A+.

Of course, since they’re so great at taking care of baby Barbara, Cynthia and Robert decided that it was definitely time to make another baby. Chimes were heard.

At least the dogs are getting along.

The next morning, Cynthia and Robert explained to Justin that he was going to be a big brother again. Cynthia’s morning sickness was pretty bad. Although maybe that’s because nobody cleans up around here except the 11-year-old. (This is why I caved and got them a maid, even though it’s technically against the rules. Someone needs to clean this dump and I’ve given up on either of the adults doing it.)

Cynthia had her first pop and was feeling a bit...restless. She went downtown and called her agent, Sylvia Marie Mashuga. They met at the 125 Cafe and Cynthia explained that she didn’t want to be a housewife, but she wasn’t sure she could go back into acting because she and Robert were trying for more kids.
Sylvia Marie had the perfect solution. “Darling,” she said, “go into my line of work! Be an agent!”
Cynthia liked that idea -- she had liked pitching the whole reality show to Malcolm Landgraab, even if he hadn’t gone for it -- and she agreed to take a job with Sylvia’s talent agent firm.

Cynthia went home and explained what she’d decided to Robert. He was supportive, as always, and happily allowed her to help him get a job as a screen test stand-in. It would be hard, starting at the bottom of the ladder again, but he knew his wife wouldn’t steer him wrong.
Technically, Cynthia works in the Entertainment career, a custom career recreated from one of the Stories games (Pet Stories, maybe?). Robert is in Show Business. I figured this showed the different branches of the entertainment business they’re in. This was around the point when I decided to ignore most of the challenge rules. I can never remember them anyway. The Kims hired a maid, a gardener, and a nanny.

Around this time, I got the pop up that it was nearly Barbara and Justin’s birthday. Cynthia threw a double birthday party, inviting all her friends (and none of Justin’s, since she doesn’t know any of the neighborhood kids).

Cynthia did the honors of helping Barbara grow up. Whee!

Barb is a little cutie! She actually looks a lot like the Worthington sisters, for some reason. Cynthia didn’t put her down the entire night. Maybe she’ll be better as a mom now that Barb can do a bit more than cry and poop herself? (That’s a big maybe, especially with another baby on the way...but we can hope...)

Then it was Justin’s turn. In a burst of sparklies, he turned into a teen!

Justin grew up really well. I did follow the challenge rules to determine his aspiration. He spun Romance. A slight wardrobe change later and Justin was ready for teenhood.

Justin decided it was time to start breeding the next generation of dogs. It didn’t take much to convince Flash and Gabby to try for puppies. Chimes were heard!
