Would Kaladin just have had to carry some random scribe with him for the entire book?
Would he send Lyn with him? That would be awkward, both because of their history, and because Lyn was initially annoyed at getting hired as a scribe instead of a team member, so now she gets promoted to... sky scribe?

I love the idea of King Kal, and a Windrunner being king of Urithiru/the Radiants always made more sense to me than a Bondsmith considering the Windrunners’ herald was Jezrien, but if it means Dalinar and Navani have to die first I DON’T WANT IT.

Sanderson was so real with that shower scene. One person wanting to batter off their epidermis with a Highstorm. The other person wanting to boil away their flesh with magma. Neither person really being able to share the stream because of both space limitations and fundamental discontent with the aforementioned temperature and pressure.
