Witchy Weekly Challenge Week 4 (Words are Powerful):

Hi all! Another week in and your resident Duck has returned with another Witchy Weekly Challenge! I hope you are all enjoying them! I will apologise now if anything in weekly challenges gets repeated, its unintentional Haha! This weeks theme is words are powerful.

The challenge is:

Sit and reflect on how you view yourself. Write all the positive words on one side of a piece of paper and all the negative on the other. What has led you to view yourself like this?

Following on from day one. Refer back to all your negative words you used to describe yourself. Can you come up with a word/thought/sentence to challenge them?

Think of something that you usually view as negative about yourself. Imagine you're complimenting someone, what would you say to them?

Spend time talking to a close family member or friend today. Let the conversation flow naturally, no matter where it leads.

Consider another tumblr user that brings you joy with their posts. Send them an ask with a compliment or words of encouragement. It can be anonymous or with your blog name attached!

Listen to your favourite song, really focus on the lyrics. Then listen to the instrumental version of the song. How does the song change without lyrics?

Have a go at writing your own poetry/song/short story. What words are you drawn to using? What feelings do the words invoke for you? Ask someone close to you to read it, does it invoke the same feelings for them, or different?
