Finally! A CEO Jimin story in which he's cute, polite and a total sweetheart instead of arrogant, judgmental and self-absorbed. I'm whipped, damn! I also loved the relationship between OC and her sister's lil family, so so cute. I'm looking forward to the next part, but I'm pretty sure as the story continues, things won't be as cute as in this one. I'm sure few people know this song or the artist, unless they're Eurovision fans. It is an atmospheric pop ballad that captured my heart from the very first note. For me, I'd say it is one of the most emotional entries along with Arcade by Duncan Laurence, and a couple of others too.
P.S. Still can't believe Kristian Kostov missed the trophy that year (2017).
U – Use Somebody by Kings of Leon
There's not much to say about this – it's a classic rock song that everyone knows somehow. It's been in my playlists for years, so it would be such a shame to leave it out from this one.
T – Teardrop by Civil Twilight
It's one of those very rare times when the cover surpasses the original song, but Civil Twilight has done such an amazing job. I mean, this enchanting melody combined with Steven McKellar's expressive voice, gets me every time.
T – True Disaster by Tove Lo
Okay, listen up, I freaking love The Weeknd & Dua Lipa, but if there's someone who first took us back to the 80's, that's definitely Tove Lo with her synthpop song; True Disaster in 2016. This song is a pure masterpiece for me, and underrated for sure.
E – End Of Me by A Day To Remember
This song made me a fan of ADTR and it's my all time favorite by them. I always come back to it when I need some sort of motivation in my life. Just right in the feels – this one, and Snuff by Slipknot.
R – Radioactive by Imagine Dragons
Again, not much to say here – just another epic song from my childhood that I shall never forget. It also reminds of the 100 & The Host Movie ;)

I finally found time to read the 3rd part, hell yeah, and I feel like it made me fall even more for Jimin. Like, he's getting more loving chapter by chapter if that's even possible, omg 😭
They were so f*cking cute together in the first half of the part, guuh. But then my heart broke seeing them getting hurt and it's one of those moments where neither of them are to blame, and it just makes it even worse because none of them deserves that kind of pain. The moment where she broke with him after she saw the marriage profiles for Jimin or the moment where he tried in vain to convince his grandparents that she's respectable and more than good enough for him, I felt so so bad 🥺🥺
I have like 2-3 predictions for the next part tbh, but I'll see how it goes. But damn, they deserve to be happy! Also girl, hobby or not, your writing is on point and the final result of each part is worth all the struggle! I mean, it does things to me; it's captivating. So don't worry, please!!! 🥰❤💗💞

My precious Amelia, I've no words left to describe how I feel when I read your stories, I'm all excited every single time! Aoy is the 2nd series I've been following from the beginning after gml & I can surely say that part 4 was one of my favorites so far & one of the best chapters you've ever written in my opinion. I might be a little dramatic though, because I'm Jimin biased 😅 but I can't deny all these emotions that this piece of art made me feel – it was amazing, I loved it (& you do know how special it was for me 😭❤)
I love oc's strong bond with her whole family (such cutie pies, they're literally family goals) & I love how her mother, even though far away, she immediately realized that something was wrong with her daughter in an evening full of joy.
“Y/N?” she says softly.
“Yes?”
“Come sit next to me.” She pats the space beside her before putting her arm out, and without hesitation, you welcome your mother’s embrace.
Feeling the way you collapse into her side, she immediately knows her worries are true and that something is upsetting you.
“Do you want to talk about it?” she asks quietly, stroking your hair.
A mother always feels her child's pain, damn.
“Just try,” your mom says quietly, “you’ll regret it if you don’t.”
Sometimes this is all you need to hear if you don't know what to do, and hearing it from your mother is the best motivation to make you keep fighting against the world for what you love, I definitely felt that.
Okay, but this Tobias is so annoying 🙄 I get why Jimin did what he did (making the decision to keep oc off from the BMW contract without telling her) it was a little mean tbh, not only did he do it because Tobias was inappropriate with her, but also because Jimin was jealous himself. But again I get it why he felt that he had to do something about it. Tobias is in the verge of sexually harassing her. Like, man, back off! When she says no, it's a no!
“But what about the company? They’ve been in business with you for six years, what if they just pull out?” The severity of what could happen dawns on you and your thoughts run like a freight train, until Jimin answers simply...
“Honestly, I don’t care.”
This kinda reminded me the dream I had the other day and Jimin looks so tired & done with all this pressure.
“What do you want me to do, Y/N?” he asks frustratedly, taking two steps closer. “It’s hard for me too, I can’t look at you without it hurting, I can’t be around you without wanting to hold you and everyone’s telling me I can’t but I’m so fucking in love with you, Y/N, it hurts.”
And this where I started crying... i don't need to explain further... 😭
Their reconnection and ofc, the smut part was EVERYTHING! HOT, SEXY, TENDER! And I was quite impressed that they actually managed to remain together for almost a year (Jimin & Sung-ho was the cutest moment of this part for real 😍) and then as expected, Deok-su happened.
Even though I feel sad about him, the way he still thinks is just disgraceful. I expected him to get softer now that he knows how valuable life is after all. I can't get it, doesn't he want his grandchild to be happy in his life for once? I mean, money & good reputation weren't enough to save his own life! I hope he changes his mind before it's too late because it's unfair for Jimin, and oc as well 😔🥺

I knew that his last smile actually meant something, but his behavior in general overshadowed it. Now though, I've got to admit that I misjudged him and I feel bad for what I wrote the other day. But again I couldn't know, could l? 😭 I can see what he's doing and I'm looking forward to seeing his point of view. I can't remember if I've ever cried this much for a fanfic before but OH MY GOD, AMELIAAAA I CAN'T ANYMORE– 😭😭😭 two times in a row...
I cried when oc was forced to resign from Park Motors and leave her apartment for some time to ease her pain, I cried when Jimin was getting his engagement photos taken with a heavy heart, I cried when oc saw the announcement and read the headline – like I did cry so much that I got to the point where I had to take short breaks in between to wipe my tears so that I could keep reading, damn... I can’t say I didn't like it though. It was painfully good, beautifully written and full of emotions once again 💔😭😭
“And did you know that when I tried to end things out of respect for Jimin and you, that he would beg me to marry him over and over?”
Deok-su’s face falls and from that simple question, you have the upper hand, and you use it to drive your point home.
“That he would resign as CEO as long as he could have me? That he was willing to choose me over everything else because he loves me?… Me,” you repeat. “A lower class girl from Gangbuk-gu, with uneducated parents and no social status that you deem so important.”
The same way Deok-su knew that you and Jimin would break up because of him, you knew that despite what he’s always thought, it’s you who would have the upper hand as long as Jimin doesn’t have you.
The look on Deok-su’s face is priceless, but you’re far too hurt to care.
Steeling yourself, you finish what you came here to say, your pain and contempt clear in every word. “I truly apologise for the stress I must’ve caused you, Mr Park. The mere thought of your grandson being with someone like me must’ve been horrifying to someone like you.” Your vision blurs with tears as you say your next words, your voice rife with emotions —
“But I will never apologise for loving Jimin, nor will I apologise for him loving me, because he is the best thing that’s ever happened to me and even though you’ve taken that away from me, I’ll always love him.”
I personally think that the part where oc visited Deok-su and Eun-ae in the hospital was one of the most powerful moments throughout the story, it's my top favorite oc moment right now. She's the strongest and yes, far better than many of those women raised with wealth and status as Deok-su finally started to realize himself – him feeling guilty is a glimpse of heaven in this absolute hell, and that thrilling cliffhanger got me hoping again. Looking forward to seeing some off-the-cuff reactions, they better be good omg!
Also, I loved that Pil-woo and Eun-ae never missed the chance to remind Deok-su how disappointed they were by his attitude, especially Eun-ae. At first I thought she shared the same beliefs with her husband, but now she has my gratitude 🙏 And honesty, it's quite interesting to know there's some kind of love-based desicion type parallelism between them. Can't wait to see what's about... Deok-su, what have you done?

Oh man, I'm not mentally prepared to say goodbye to them 🥺❤ I mean, I'll have to... very soon but damn! I just know this fanfic will be one of my all time favorites – the emotions it made me vividly feel is something I'll always remember, and ofc I'll be coming back to read it whenever I feel like missing it.
You've no idea what you did, but you've written a little universe with some of the most phenomenal main characters that it makes me constantly think of this; if the dynamic with my future husband isn't like the one that aoy!jimin & oc have, then I don't want it, lool. I enjoyed every single moment (even the intense ones). It's one of those storylines that touches on social issues and makes you contemplate the situations, instead of just enjoying the story. I love your stories just because of that. Each one of them touches on different issues and the way you do portray them –vividly describing the little details to unfold or twist the plot– is so captivating that you can't help, but feel & experience all those problems as if they are your own.
I cried again while reading the chapter, but this time with happiness. It was soothing and heartwarming, just what we all needed after the last two heartbreaking chapters.
“Great, father’s full name and date of birth please?”
“Uh, Park Jimin.”
You’re fiddling with the hem of your dress, so you miss the way Sol’s eyes widen and her head perks up, but she quickly resumes her professional persona as she asks, “Sorry, could you repeat that, was it Park Jimin?”
Somehow I sensed that Sol would probably know Bong-cha (tbh, I thought she's related to her like a sister or smth... 😅 but best friend, it is!) I've been having a feeling that Bong-cha would help them be together again since that embarrassing dinner at Deok-su & Eun-ae's house, and so she did. I can't say that I didn't feel bad for her though. She was so brave to tell Jimin the truth about oc's pregnancy and step away. It must've taken everything in her to do the right thing considering her feelings, she really deserves so much and I'm sure one day she'll find someone who'll be willing to give her the world.
“Are you okay?” Eun-ae asks concernedly.
“I’m fine,” Jimin answers, a smile growing on his lips. “I’m better than ever actually.” His grandparents continue to look confused, but for the first time as Jimin stands in front of them, he feels no pressure of wanting to please them, so he easily says the following words… “I’m not marrying Bong-cha.”
Deok-su frowns, as though he expected this, but Jimin ignores it and carries on.
“The wedding isn’t going to happen, and I’m going to Y/N right now to tell her that I love her and I’m not leaving her.”
“Jimin,” Deok-su sighs, his guilt still heavy on his shoulders from the past weeks. “We’ve been through this—“
“I’m not here to ask for your permission,” Jimin interrupts, tone as stern as it’s ever been with his grandparents but he doesn’t care. “I’m here to tell you. I’m going back to Y/N, and one day, I will ask her to marry me, and she will be my wife, if she’ll have me.”
I praised oc when she stood up to Deok-su and now it's time to praise Jimin as well cos that was brave. My poor baby finally realized that it's his decision of when and who'll get to marry and no matter how much respect he's got for his grandpa, there's still some parts of his life that Deok-su can't & doesn't have the right to control.
Eun-ae is officially in the list of my favorite supporting characters along with Geun-woo, Pil-woo & Gi, yay 😊
And seriously?! If you indeed had concerns about not portraying enough the hate part of their relationship in gml, you shouldn't have any now. You've given such a great background story, and so the reason why there was that kind of tension between oc and Jimin all along, is on point now.
I mean, I really wanted to slap him at some point — like, the seat fight, or when he set the alarm on her phone and placed it down next to her face while she was sleeping, or when he spilled his drink on her on purpose... god, she's way too calm. Idk what would I do if I were her!!
But the last part made it up to me, deep down we all know he's such a sweetheart and cares a lot for her. gml!jimin is just a misunderstood character. Ofc, he's done a lot, but he's also been through a lot... 💔
