Listing off random X-Men headcanons / facts about my AU!!
• The attack on Genosha still happened, despite how much that episode DESTROYED me
• Gambit comes back as a ghost w/ some new abilities
• Rogue has control of her powers (similar to in the comics)
• Logan is passed around the mansion like a blunt
• Logan is polyamorous and in relationships with Scott, Jean, Morph, and Ororo (Storm)
• Erik/Magnus lives at the mansion (curse you ‘97 for calling him Magnus when the movies call him Erik)
• Almost everyone has some kind of trauma/disability/disorder + scars or other permanent injuries, so expect that kind of thing in my future work (I will always do research before writing or drawing anything, and everything will have a warning if there is potential triggering content)
• Canon is based on both the movies and ‘97/the original series, so some things might get a little weird in terms of timeline/significant events
• Technically a Next Gen AU, considering that most things take place around 10 years into the future of the current canon of ‘97

Being named Magnus irl when I more relate to Charles X is so funny to me… Like I am Charles X, but named Magneto?? I forgot his middle name was Magnus b4 watching ‘97/the animated series. He got called Magnus and I lowkey wigged out for a moment.
As someone with an invisible disability (ADHD), I think it’s incredibly sad to see possible representation taken away, even if it’s not something I have. “Oh b-but! But he has the treatment that lets him walk!” Do I have to spell it out for you??
My man Charles is PAR👏A👏LYZED! Permanently!And also canonically has chronic pain! (In the movies, at least) For fs, let that actually be canon in a way that represents it properly! Marvel already BSed their way out of paralysis with War Machine in their movies, if you ask me.
Honestly, it’s just heartbreaking and frustrating to see this happen over and over again. Even ‘97, the most recent TV-show/film adaptation of X-Men, doesn’t handle this correctly!
Again, I know that my opinion on the matter isn’t particularly relevant to the issue, seeing that I myself am not physically disabled in any way, but seeing the representation of his disability getting erased constantly makes me upset.
I understand where the disappointment comes from when x-men fans don't see Charles portrayed as physically disabled. But doesn't even x-men comics portray him that way at some point? Remember when he transferred his consciousness to a body that could walk? And other times which I'm too lazy to mention btw. Marvel loves to make him walk and comeback to use wheelchairs over and over again.
Wanting to make more posts but not knowing how to actually put your thoughts into words is SUCH A STRUGGLE.

Like I was watching the animated show a while back and on GOD the hair color is never the same in a single episode they’re in. One time it’s dark brown or black, can’t really tell, then it’s like SUPER black for a while during their Sinister-Induced Emo Phase, then it’s back to darker brown I think, BUT THEN, at the end of the show, it’s a much lighter brown???
I get that Morph’s a shapeshifter but those artists need to MAKE UP THEIR MINDS 😭
