Ace of Spades Fireteam
So, here is my pinned post, with a bit about my guardians! In my head, the three guardians you make in D2 is the young wolf’s 3-person fireteam. I play with my boyfriend, so essentially we have a 6-person fireteam, buuuuut, some of them aren’t fleshed out, so here is the basic info. Also, I should add that in my head, my bf’s titan and my warlock are the young wolves, and it is not just one person.
Bubo (she/her)--awoken warlock. Dawnblade. The YW. Ghost: Minerva.
She was rezzed in the Dreaming City at the time the young wolf was rezzed. She loves her dawnblade, but she uses all the light/darkness subclasses (except for stormcalling). She is the student of Ikora Rey and focuses on history, mainly of the awoken and lightbearers. She hopes to establish a museum in the city one day. She often gets in trouble, such as being the first Shadebinder, learning too much about her previous life, and wanting to keep an Ahamkara bone in her house in the city.
Tripore (he/him)--human titan. Sunbreaker. The YW. Ghost: Edgewise.
Tripore was rezzed in the Cosmodrome, a few years before Bubo. He loves the archives and has become a hidden who focuses on better data management. On the battlefield, he yeets as many nades as possible (and says "where's my hammer?" every five seconds). He loves doing photography and becoming a Dregen in his downtime. Bubo hates how much she is dragged into Gambit by Tripore.
Violet (she/her)--awoken hunter. Nightstalker. Ghost: Rose.
She was on the same fireteam as Cayde and Andal Brask and ended up being on this new light fireteam when she found Bubo in the Dreaming City. A hunter who is probably not the best influence on any new lights, but is quite effective at what she does. She mainly loves sniping, playing with knives, and drinking way too much alcohol.
Cynthia-28 (she/her)--exo titan. Sentinel/ Behemoth. Ghost: Lawrence
Cynthia was rezzed in the early city age. She has an old exo frame that constantly has issues, so she became an exo scientist to learn more about exos and to help others who don’t have the light/can heal themselves. She also tries to take apart our robot dog.
??? (she/her)--awoken warlock. Stormcaller. Ghost: ???
She still needs a name. She was rezzed in the late dark ages and has stayed away from a lot of the fighting, focusing on her studies instead. She ends up on Bubo’s fireteam just cause they needed a bit more firepower fighting Crota, and Bubo just happened to know her.
Shiro-4 (he/him)--exo hunter. Ghost: Suzume
Okay, we haven't had any lore on Shiro since D1, and I want to know what he is up to, so he is the final member of the Ace fireteam. I think he was on the same fireteam as Cayde, Andal, Violet, and Tevis Larsen years ago, but now Violet and Shiro are the last two from that fireteam. Like the unnamed warlock, Shiro is more so just there to help when Ace needs it and he is a reliable hunter.
Threadweaver
A quick doodle of Bubo in her current armor set and using threadlings! I'm obsessed with them and I've been running threadweaver all season (except when I was a shadebinder during the campaign).
Also, Aunor must loooove my warlock since she has been running all the darkness subclasses recently hehehe. (Bubo and Aunor hate each other with a passion. They're very much opposite ends of being a warlock).

The Last Straw
Threadlings are our friends. Osiris doesn't understand cause he only used Dawnblade--the only warlock class without a little buddy.
Ghost: *calls Osiris*
Osiris: What is it Ghost? Ugh do you even know what time it is? (Yw: nO) (Saint-14 in the back: is that the Guardian?)
Ghost: Hi! Yeah Are threadlings like Cats or dogs? (Yw: Looks like a squirrel tho - aA-)
Osiris: Wh-(Yw: im okAy-ooF- ) Didn’t you say threadlings were a by part of your rift??
Ghost: uhhhhhh YeaH but, this one is …more domestic???
Osiris: how on earth could that-
Ghost: *turns on video feed*
Yw: “Yeah so funny thing”- scrEEEe ෴
Osiris: our place in 20 mins. (Saint: *gets out of bed* I’ll go prepare some hot chocolate)
Ghost & Guardian: okey ;-;👍
Crow is a baby new light who we must protecc. (Also, Koa in the back being like "who hasn't?" Cause the YW's fireteam definitely has lol)
Crow is obviously struggling with his grief but it’s sort of messed up, given everything he knows, to turn to YW and invite them on a vengeance crusade. Through Uldren he has first hand knowledge of just how far off the deep end they’re capable of going. How far does he want them to go? How much pain does he want them to cause? If he asks for scorched earth he’d probably get it. Given Amanda’s death happened during a mission they were involved in it’s likely another loss they feel somewhat personally responsible for.
I know there’s a lot of times different characters ask for YW to basically unleash rage upon their enemies but personally to me (just my headcanon basically) I always felt that, post Forsaken, it was meeting Crow and hearing about what he’d been through since he’d risen that started to wake YW up. And with his perspectives on our conflicts and enemies in the following seasons he reminded YW of the type of Guardian they could be. The type of Guardian they were when they showed Misraaks mercy all those years ago on Titan.
So it being him who is asking this of them just left me feeling hollow.

The traditional seasonal visit to the Beyond to report the news of this timeline.
So, Bubo will do all of these. Gambit she secretly enjoys because Tripore is a Dregen and it's fun sometimes. Patrols have to be done, tho it's not her favorite thing. Bubo does use it to find flowers. Raids and dungeons, again she has to because she's the YW.
But crucible? Ha. And I mean, regular crucible not trials and IB. She does Trials every once in a blue moon (mainly cause she can't say no to Saint and Violet is such a good sniper that it's a breeze on certain maps). She likes Iron Banner for some reason and Saladin wouldn't allow an iron lord in training to miss it.
But regular ol' Crucible? Nah. Bubo stays away from that with a ten foot pole. The only game mode Shaxx can get her to do is Mayhem when she needs to blow off some stream by throwing Dawnblades and Nova Bombs in people's faces. But she stays away from crucible. It doesn't help that people always compare her to Ikora, and Bubo doesn't always feel like she lives up to her mentor. Plus, Bubo has been hit with snipers and shotguns to the face one too many times at the point and can't deal with it

Happy pride month from your local bi destiny nerd! I wanted to do my three characters who I draw the most in their pride colors, but just as simple outfits when they're off duty (tho I made bi colored armor for my warlock this season and I might draw it).
Anyway, my warlock Bubo is bi like me. She definitely had an awoken girlfriend before she became risen and now she has Tripore as her boyfriend.
Violet, my hunter, is pansexual, and doesn't really do dating (she's seen one too many times how depressing it is to lose someone).
And Cynthia, my titan, is a lesbian. She hasn't really found that one person for her and she dates on and off. I draw her like once a year cause exos are hard, but I really like how her head came out this time.

Guardian, opening a communication line to Zavala while fishing: Hey Zavala?
Zavala, finally having his lunch break: What is it, guardian?
Guardian, nor giving any indication: You know that there are actual fish in the vex milk, right?
Zavala: what?
Guardian, continuing: yes, organic life in the Vex milk, Vex fish or Vexish if you will.
Zavala, confused even more: I'm sorry. Why are you fishing in the vex milk?
Guardian, audibly shrugging: I was curious what I would find.
I love when Minerva floats upside down and shows off his fashion
I love them and I wanna see more moments between our guardian and Ghost
Saw this post and decided to focus on the two ghosts who have the most amount of headcanon lore--Minerva (my warlock, Bubo’s, ghost) and Edgewise (my bf’s titan, Tripore’s, ghost). Over the years, we have slowly fleshed out what our ghosts would be like, often when the Ghost is involved, we try to identify which one of our ghosts is speaking. So yeah, we just have way too much lore about them lol.
Ghosts who refuse to heal their Guardians when they’re mad (in non-critical situations)
Totally Edgewise. He would get mad at Tripore for making Edgewise rezz him one too many times, so at the end of a battle, when he’s not too hurt, Edgewise just won’t heal him (Of course, it helps Edgewise knows Tripore has his warlock gf nearby to put down a well or rift for Tripore). Edgewise is like Saladin’s ghost, Isirah, who just believes that their guardian needs to just get good and not die so much.
Ghosts who insist they want to try out tons of ridiculous hobbies, or try to find some to do with their Guardian
Minerva is the one who is upset about the possible ballet fan, Rasputin, getting hurt in that one strike. Bubo is very much into drawing and sewing in her down time, especially drawing cause she can take it with her very easily on her ship. Meanwhile, her ghost loves the performing arts. Music. Ballet. Dancing. Plays. Minerva likes to float around doing little dances and volunteers at the Ghost Community Theater.
Ghosts who sneakily transmat things they like back to the ship, much to the surprise of their Guardian
Minerva and Bubo are hoarders of mementos, so yes, I can see this happening
Ghosts who like their own little cubby/space to spend time while their Guardian sleeps (it’s fully decorated)
I DREW A COMIC AND GAVE IT TO MY BOYFRIEND OF BUBO GETTING MINERVA AND EDGEWISE A LITTLE TERRARIUM FOR THE DAWNING. Of course Minerva absolutely adores it! Edgewise doesn’t like it, but secretly loves it and sometimes is caught sleeping in there when he thinks no one is looking but it's in a high-traffic part of the house, so he gets caught a lot. It has a little dreaming city tree and fairy lights and some small pillows and blankets. It's pretty lit. I need to draw just the concept art again and post it on here.
Ghosts that bonk their shells against their Guardian in frustration or playfulness
Definitely Minerva playfully.
Ghosts that hate each other, but their Guardians are best friends or lovers
MINVERA AND EDGEWISE ARE COMPLETE OPPOSITES LOLOL. They have to put up with each other now that their guardians are dating. Even worse was during the Red War, Bubo and Violet’s apartment (they were roommates when Bubo was a wee new light. Violet's apartment had a spare bedroom or two for hunter friends who wanna crash for a few days when they actually come to the city) was destroyed, so after the war Bubo moved in with Tripore. They eventually got a bigger apartment around Witch Queen. And this means Edgewise has to deal with both Bubo and Minerva who are weirdos. Bubo is always trying to learn about weird awoken magic he is pretty sure isn’t legal/safe to use in the city. And even weirder is her ghost Minerva who constantly floats upside down and is too happy considering how serious things are with the world right now. So yeah, they don’t hate each other, but they have very different personalities that clash.
Ghosts who don’t care what their Guardian thinks, because who’s been alive longer? That’s right. It’s Ghost.
This is Edgewise. Definitely.
Ghosts who are *way* too into the fashion show, and their Guardian is begging them to let it go
Minerva absolutely LOVES getting dressed up for literally everything and anything. He especially likes matching Bubo. Armor? Dresses? Casual nerdy warlock clothes? Minerva loves them all and loves getting fifty bazillion shells. Bubo’s wallet cries every single time they find a new shell out in the wild lol. But his favorite and the one he wears most often is his Rival Warlock Shell that bubo painted to match one of her armor sets (even tho she doesn’t wear those robes much anymore, he still loves it)
Ghosts who always use some of their down time in the City to mourn those lost. Some of those that their Guardian never knew, because they lived and died before Ghost found their Guardian.
Hmmm. Does Edgewise have an angsty backstory that explains why he is super serious all the time? Idk. I haven’t really thought of Minerva or Edgewise’s backstories.
More Ghost things:

Ghosts without Guardians silently choosing a Lightless who they get along with, pretending they’re a pair for a while
Ghosts who stick with their Lightless friend until the end, hoping – always hoping – that it might change
Ghosts without Guardians that help look after the refugee children with/without parents, hoping to help in some way
Ghosts that are just. Really bad at reading the room, much to the chagrin of their Guardian.
Ghosts who don’t care what their Guardian thinks, because who’s been alive longer? That’s right. It’s Ghost.
Ghosts who made a bunch of friends (Guardian or Lightless) before they found their Guardian, so everyone forgets the new Guardian is there the first few times.
Ghosts who are WAY too proud of their Guardian, constantly embarrassing the Guardian who just wants to turn in bounties.
Ghosts who begrudgingly rate each new outfit/color as their Guardian plays fashion
Ghosts who are *way* too into the fashion show, and their Guardian is begging them to let it go.
Ghosts trying to sing with their Guardian – who also can’t sing.
Ghosts who adamantly want a pet
Ghosts who insist they can’t have a pet, because it’s already hard trying to keep the Guardian alive (and they get multiple shots at it)
Ghosts that get huffy when they’re upset, but not vocally. You just see their shells twisting and puffing in and out.
Ghosts betting things between each other (Hey, I bet you this shell that my Guardian will get more kills than yours)
Ghosts that tut at their Guardian over every little scratch and bruise out of worry

Current WIP. My boyfriend and I are celebrating five years together next month! I decided to draw our guardians on a date in the Dreaming City. I'm really happy with how it's turning out so far, but I'm remembering why I don't draw titans much. I don't make titan armor chonky enough. It's been a struggle for ages. I definitely made it better this time, buuuut it could use some work. Also, I'm doing my custom armor I designed for my warlock and my bf literally always uses the same armor set. He is a true titan and doesn't like changing something that works.

So, I was going through my sketchbooks to figure out which markers I use for Tripore's armor. And I totally forgot this one idea I had last year where it's summer and the young wolves use stasis to make Stasis Italian Ice. They set up a stand in the tower and Aunor flips out over it, cause Aunor doesn't know what fun is. Also, Edgewise and Minerva get little chef hats, which Edgewise tries his best to shake off. Oh and Saint gives Tripore one of his favorite aprons. Cause Saint totally has a bunch of aprons for cooking.
