I’m really wondering if the cracks we see in Cayde’s Ace of Spades in the trailer have something to do with the real Ace’s Memento Mori. The stuff coming from Cayde and his Ace looks too much like light vs. taken stuff.
What if Cayde’s in limbo because he’s somehow still tethered to life by the real Ace that maybe is imbued with some of Sundance’s light. Cayde was still in possession of it when she was shattered and Ace didn’t have the perk before she was… is there even any other lore behind the perk?
Memento Mori roughly means remembering death, but wouldn’t it be something if they were hiding this and trying to throw us off guard with the perk this whole time. So many little things in the last 5 years are giving me little lightbulb moments. So much to think on.

Out of the vanguard ghosts who we know, I see Sundance and Sagira both cursing. A lot lol. Though Sundance would probably be the worst of the two. But Sagira is a sass queen and would probably use curses for funsies.
Sundance taught Val how to swear
lol Val learned how to swear from his time as a Vagabond. He learned to develop better manners from Robby and Ikora. They're trying to get him to speak nicer to others.
BUT I can see Sundance being an enabler of sorts.
