i keep seeing this cut off but the preceding “yessiree” is vital to it imo

a big part of the appeal of dragon rider stories for me isn't 'what if you were able to tame the big scary beast and have a bond and power that most can only imagine' but 'what if a big scary beast decided it wanted a silly little guy'
