- tommyinnit: hang i really only chose this one for the lyrics “my body’s still bleeding from back stabs and beatings but that happens now and again” because MAN,,, that screams exile arc,,, - honorable mention: silly of me

Technolblade is Hercules and here's how.

When I’m talking about him being Hercules I am referencing the story where he kills Medusa. To understand my reasoning let’s look at the true story of Medusa. 

She was in love with Poseidon and he had taken her to one of Aphrodite’s temples and raped her. Aphrodite was forced to witness this and went down to Medusa and gifted her to become a gorgan so that she may have a way of defending herself if this were to ever happen again. Medusa was turned into a beast to protect herself from getting hurt again.

She was living on her own and turning people into stone when they came to her home to hunt her. One day Hercules shows up with a mirrored shield, so that he may use her defenses against herself. He then proceeded to cut off her head and use it as a wepon therefore violateing her once again.

In context the the SMP Tubbo is Medusa. He was given a position of power by his friend so that he may take care of himself and what they have worked for. Tubbo was hurt and executed by his contry and then was given a way to make sure it didn’t happen again. 

Tommy is the mirrored shield and Techno is the one wielding it. Techno is one of the strongest people on the SMP. He’s no god like Dream, but a half god would seem to fit. 

Hercules thought what he was doing was right. His beliefs told him that it was okay to slay the beast and take her head as a prize. Techno thinks that having to take Tubbo down is just. No government no matter what. Having Tommy at his side at the moment is simply bonus. He’s walking into Medusa’s den with a mirrored shield because he know it will work.

You know I don't think I ever had a comfort artist before until just a few hours ago. I was having a rough time and the only thing I wanted to listen to was Wilbur's trilogy of internet songs. So thanks dude, keep doing what you do.
