August - Station Eleven - Aromantic

Okay, tbh, I don't have a lot for this one. There's also no official art for August, so have the book cover and the aro flag.

Basically, when I read Station Eleven this past semester, I enjoyed the handful of moments August tagged along with Kristen and the fact that they were best friends just vibin' in the post-apocalyptic land of Michigan lol.

One thing that did catch my attention was their pact to "not fall in love with each other" that they made. It almost felt like it was a joke, too. Like, if August was aro then there was no way that was going to happen and so the pact was more of an inside joke between them than anything serious.

I do recommend the book. There's not too much with August in it, though, and that's about the only moment I can recall that would be that explicit about him possibly being aro. So just don't go into it expecting too much out of this headcanon

Bodhi!!! An ace pilot, hehe.

This one is mainly vibes but also it's the highest honor I could bestow upon him. I also love the Rogue One crew a lot so someone was gonna get ace-ified so why not? He'd totally make at least one ace pilot joke, I can feel it in my bones

He deserves the world <3 I'm glad to give him the wonderful gift of being ace because being ace is awesome

Spider-Noir - Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse - Aromantic

I love the Spiderverse a lot. It's just natural that I give one of the spideys the honors of being aspec. Spider Noir gives off very aromantic vibes to me. Not from him "closing himself off to emotion" though. He's just bad at coping with stress. Nah, he'd be aro no matter what. He's too busy punching Nazis and loving his friends to care about romance.

Would he have the terminology for it in his own world? Probably not (yet). But goin' around the multiverse helps him find out there's a word for what he feels (or doesn't feel) and he's happy to learn and adopt it. Also he'd love the different shades in the flag, coming from a black and white universe and all

Also as far as I remember in his backstory, he never mentioned Gwen or MJ in a romantic sense (unlike some of the other Spideys), so there's that too
