It’s important to see the mistakes you make in your art. That’s how you become better. But if the only thing you point out are mistakes, that’s the only thing you’ll be focusing on.

"Oh, the arm is too short… and the hands look wierd. The lower body is just straight up wonky. Etc. etc."

Ok. All of those things may be true but: the facial expression is super good, the arms are well posed, the hair is on point, etc. See what I mean? Don’t overshadow the good stuff with the "bad" stuff.

Learn from your mistakes and appreciate your accomplishments.
