1) because it houses all my "execution bad but premise and idea kinda solid" drafts from eight years ago

2) it birthed my favorite book: Obama The Musical

Dedication of fanfic writers isn't just getting hit by a car and then having a house collapse on you while your sister's babysitter's cat's grandfather-in-law gets everything stolen from him in a messy divorce you have to help settle and then writing fic from the hospital while also helping settle the aforementioned divorce and simultaneously graduating college, it's also watching 26 seasons of a show just to understand the character you got obsessed with after seeing one (1) piece of fanart six months ago so you can write fic about them without it being ooc.

Yeah I totally get that -w- I get so hyped whenever I find any of my old Wii/Nintendo/whatever games and then I have to spend half an hour searching for the right console because I have to play the game now and it can not wait until after I've done all my responsible work things
