At this point,

The Destiel confession meme is seeming like a more reliable source of information than some news outlets, (looking at you, Fox News) but I’m not sure everyone’s ready for that conversation

So there’s that quote that was like “The deal was that, if I won the Hunger Games, I get to live the rest of my life in peace. But now, you wanna kill me again”

and I’m just thinking of how many times she could’ve thought she’d be done and able to have some peace now, and she just kept never getting it. She probably thought “well, once I survive the games, I’ll be done”. And then she got out and Snow had all the people she loved killed because she didn’t go along with his plans to traffic her like he did with others. I believe she was also made to mentor tributes the next few years too.

She almost definitely thought she was never going back into the arena, because no one ever had had to go back in. And then she was dragged back in for the Quarter Quell (what the quote refers to in the specific context of the interview).

She could’ve thought that if the escape worked, she’d go to District 13 and never have to see the Capitol again. But other people escaped and she didn’t, and they tortured her for weeks. And then once she finally got out of the Capitol and to District 13, she had a debilitating phobia of water and addiction to Morphling, which prevented her from being able to go back to the Capitol with the others to try to kill Snow.

And once everyone got back and Snow was captured and all that, the person Johanna lived with, trained with, and likely considered a friend, who promised she’d kill him, shot someone else instead. And yes, Snow did die, but Katniss didn’t kill him as she promised, he died laughing, choking on his own blood. And it wouldn’t be a stretch to suggest she could’ve seen that as a betrayal.

As far as I remember, we don’t really know what happened with her after the events of Mockingjay, but I’d say it wouldn’t be particularly realistic to theorize that she’d have gone home and lived a sunshine and rainbows life once Snow was dead.

If it’s other, please tell me what. No one ever actually explained to me how people do this. So uh, if you shave your legs, help a guy out. How??

In case any streaming services are wondering,

I’ll pay for a subscription to whoever’s wiling to provide another season of Dead Boy Detectives. Like anyone, I don’t care if the literal only thing on your platform is more and more seasons of Dead Boy Detectives, I’ll happily pay for it

Anyway, now that we’ve gotten the general begging for anyone to pick the show up aside, It’s so ridiculous that Netflix does like nothing to promote a show and then gets all upset that it doesn’t instantly get watched by half the world population or something. I don’t know about anyone else, but I didn’t see a damn shred of advertising for Dead Boy Detectives until I found the show from something else and started watching it. It’s probably pretty solidly in types of shows I like and types of shows I’ve watched (and used Netflix’s system thing to like) directly on Netflix, and they didn’t even recommend it. And then of course they cancel the show when it’s not given any promotion and so then doesn’t get a ton of immediate viewership. It’s like they desperately want it to fail and will fail it for any reason they can find. It got 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, critics seem to like it, the audience seems to like it, the people who manage to find it seem to love it. But apparently none of that is enough to keep a show

It’s a good show with that people seem to love with good solid representation, but of course we can’t even get a second season

In season 2,

we should get Charles with an eyebrow slit. As a treat

Since we see Edwin need to turn the doll head away from him,

I’d like to suggest he has arachnophobia from his time in hell

I’d also like to suggest a scene where a spider gets into their office and Charles ends up accidentally destroying half the office trying to kill that thing because it was scaring Edwin

Crystal doesn’t get how it can possibly be this hard to kill one little spider

Niko eventually catches it because it crawled onto her hand while she was calmly sitting and watching this mess

I’m locking my theory in now,

I feel like if Charles and Edwin had 1 day where they’d be alive again, I’d go something like this

Charles would probably want to feel everything he’s missed. The taste of all his favorite foods, the way the space around you vibrates at a concert, talking to living strangers, how his jacket feels warm around him, the smell of a nice leather jacket. All that stuff, etc etc

Edwin would probably have a few very specific sensations he’d seek. Maybe the taste and feeling of a hot cup of tea, the smell of old books, and sweaters feeling warm around him

Charles would probably offer to go with Edwin on whatever he’s wanting to do again but Edwin would insist that Charles should go do things he misses. With a few hours left in the day, Charles would get back to the office, Edwin would probably be cozy on the couch with a cup of tea, a blanket, and a book. Charles would probably walk over and kiss him before saying something like “just had to know how it feels, you know?” and then climb onto the couch with him and they’d just cuddle and be warm together until the time ran out.

Edwin sees little to no logic in the reasons Charles picks these specific books.

Such reasons may include: 

the cover was pretty

he thinks he’s heard Edwin mention this author before (it’s absolutely not the same author)

the title was in a fancy font

one of the pictures looks like a picture in another one of Edwin’s books

the title sounds smart

it looks about the right size to fill a gap on their bookshelf 

a character in the book shares the name of someone they know

Edwin assumes an implicit part of Charles bringing him books is him reading them to Charles. Charles didn’t originally intend for that to be part of it but is definitely ok with it

Found the setlist for Green Day’s first show in the US on the Saviors tour

While there are no songs from their first album, this set list seems to primarily focus on their older stuff. The tour does involve them playing through Dookie and American Idiot all the way through both albums, and as it’s the Saviors tour, they’ll obviously play songs from their newest album. The setlist includes: All of Dookie All of American Idiot And 1 song each from their 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th albums (Dookie being their third and American Idiot being their 7th). No songs are featured from their trilogy albums, Revolution Radio (personally disappointed about this one), and Father of all Motherfuckers

As for the Saviors album itself, 5 of its songs were played. Notably, these were the first 5 songs on the album and do not include the title track

The 10 songs that weren’t on the albums played all the way through seem to have a sort of louder and heavier sound, save for Dilemma, Bobby Sox, and Good Riddance which I’d deem a bit lighter (in sound, not content).

uh I found out about Biden having covid from this meme too so that’s the second time I found out about something that could’ve killed one of the main US presidential candidates from this meme within a week. My case about this being a news source is standing strong

Dean starts becoming comforted by the trench coat and starts getting it whenever he goes anywhere (including without Cas) by complaining about how cold it will be there. Cas of course has no idea because he doesn’t understand temperature

Until onetime Dean is complaining about “it’ll be so cold in California in the middle of summer” (or whatever) so Cas will give him the trench coat, 5 minutes after Sam has just complained to Cas that they’re probably going to melt in California

coming clean is about BillIe being bi, but

as a trans guy it was painfully relatable and I love it. I feel like it does fit well with multiple types of queer and I don’t know if that was actively intentional, but it absolutely came across and I’m pretty fucking sure Billie wouldn’t mind that at all
